ENTRANCE THEME
“Turn the Tables" - by Saliva
ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION
The crowd pops massively as a pyro bomb-drop falls as "Turn the Tables" yells "Yeah! We're coming down!" As soon as the pyro hits, the song starts up and Emevlas Stastias pops out from behind the curtain, with a trademark smirk crossing her lips. She prompts the crowd to get up and start cheering some more. She makes eye contact with whomever is in the ring, and starts casually walking down the aisle, high fiving and fist bumping fans on the way.
Jerry Heisenberg: “…from Joliet, Illinois, weighing in at one hundred and forty five pounds… SHE is the Cult of Personality… Emevlas… STAAAAASTIAS!"
"...kinda like Cain and Abel, a bit unstable. Don't break the frame, break the whole damn table. How we shut it down, we give 'em a blast. We keep it real, put the shoes in your ass."
Emevlas climbs up the upper-left turnbuckle, and as soon as her music screams "GET THE TABLES!" Emevlas does the same in time. She jumps off the turnbuckle, and as the music shouts "Get the tables!" three more times in shorter succession, Emevlas lifts two fingers to her ear every time, prompting the crowd to shout those words at her. The last time, she wingspans her arms, spins around once to bask in the glory of a rowdy crowd, and as soon as the songs returns to it's main riff, she quickly thrusts her hands together and in a quick "yeah" of Stastias pride, throws them down and clenches her fists. As her music fades out, she goes over to one of the far corners to casually (perhaps cockily) await the bell to ring.
WRESTLING STYLE
Emevlas operates in a cross of a Attitude Era-like crash wrestling style, and a self-described “sub-cross” of brawling and showmanship. She is cocky, but not to the point of overconfidence. She is brash, but not to the point of being unlikable. She works in a very fluid way, almost as if she was born to wrestle. Since she enjoys using many tables, there’s a taste of hardcore in her style when the situation calls for it, or if someone really makes her angry.
STRENGTHS
1. Experience: Emevlas has been doing this since 1999. This sport is like breathing to her.
2. Jill of all trades, lacking in none: Even though she’s a brawler and show(wo)man, she can work with just about any style of wrestler, in a rather fine manner. Is hardcore your style? Mevy can adapt to that. Want to work technical? There’s Mevy for that. Have your own style which no one knows but you? Mevy can watch tapes and adapt.
3. On top of it: Emevlas knows how to carry someone through a match and make it all look convincing.
WEAKNESSES
1. Mouthy: Emevlas likes to talk to and play with the crowd a bit too much, which will cost her precious time in these matches.
2. Jill of all trades, master of none: The other, “not as good” end of this bit. She kind of sucks at submission wrestling, and doesn’t know too many unique holds.
3. Her left shoulder: Emevlas suffered from a separated left shoulder blade, which caused her to miss the rest of 2004, and about 3 months of 2005. This injury can still nag her on occasion, and if an opponent hits her in the right place, this injury can nag her to the point of losing the match.
BASIC MOVES
1. Running knee to the face (NOT a shining wizard)
2. Running forearm
3. Rotating neckbreaker
4. Roundhouse to the back of the head
5. Running knee into a bulldog. (Used in the corners)
SIGNATURE MOVE(S)
1. High Max
Reverse STO. Emevlas usually shouts “HIGH MAX, BITCH!” before hitting the move.
2. Tomahawk Kick
Punt kick with chopping theatrics beforehand. Only used in big-time matches.
FINISHING MOVE(S)- limited to 2 please -
1. Bombdrop
Primary. Jumping Cutter. Quick, sudden, and bonus points to being a dropping move.
2. Whiplash
Secondary. Kickout Snap DDT. Mevy kicks her leg out, and pulls back to drop her opponent on their skulls as quickly as possible.
WEAPONS:
TABLES. All the tables. If it’s wooden and has four legs, then she’ll use it.
PAST ACCOLADES
EWC: Former Interim Television Champion.
OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS
None.
NOTABLE FEUDS
EWC: vs. Griffin Hawkins (Loss
NOTABLE MATCHES
EWC: vs. Parliament in a one on one normal match (Win)

BIOGRAPHY
Born "Eliza Jayne Coheed" on June 12th, 1980, she had an average childhood, with the same ups and downs that many others have went through. Throughout high school, she had taken an interest in professional wrestling, and decided that would be her career path. The day after her graduation, she went to find a wrestling company that was an equal opportunity employer, with the stage name "Emevlas Stastias," taking the last name from her brother Armand (who had been wrestling for about a decade at that point as "Equinox Stastias," and while he was good, there were many better, like Eliza/Emevlas.) She eventually got the call up to the federation she had been watching, and they wanted her to debut on September 9th, 1999 as Emevlas Stastias, who was finally living in her career path, though at the same time, she wasn't, as she was competing for the Women's title, which she won within two weeks. She spoke for the first time, saying that she wanted to compete against men because she felt she was good enough to do that, and the rest, as the tried-and-true cliché goes, is history.
Until she was released on July 30th, 2014, Emevlas had made several marks in the entertainment federation, becoming a 15-time world champion and rarely not having gold around her waist, leaving bodies and broken tables in her wake. She let her contract run out because no matter what she did, she was never the face of the federation. So, she went home to Joliet to much fanfare and applause.
Emevlas trained for the next half of the year, applying for the local indie fed called Red Line Wrestling, being accepted on the second of the year. She went on to dominate Skylar Montgomery in what was dubbed "the quickest and most definitive match in the history of RLW," proving that she was there to stay.
While at RLW, she faced a suicidal guy, a automaton, and a luchadora, and after about six months, Mevy was back on her feet emotionally, and she had signed up with EWC to prove that she still had what it takes to make an impact on the big stage… which she did not. At EWC, Emevlas had a very up-and-down run, winning a fake title along the way, but also losing several opportunities along the way, making for yet another lackluster showing.
Nearing 36, and realizing that her final match awaits her at Visionaries of Wrestling with Stacy Jones, and also realizing that she’d have to build herself back up yet again, she’s signed up to a multi-show contract with VoW just so she can get her last match out of the way so she can finally retire in peace.
