JOKA
STATS and INFO
WRESTLER NAME: (Real Name) Byron Belasko, (Ring Name) Tha Joka
NICK NAME(S): The Court Jester of Wrestling, The Clown Prince of Hardcore, The King Of The Cage, Master Of The DDT, Triple B ("Badass" Byron Belasko), Resident Ball Kicker of VOW
Joka earned the nick name "The Court Jester of Wrestling" during his time in GWA. He earned the nick name "The Clown Prince of Hardcore" by holding various versions and numerous Hardcore titles in his career, Hardcore matches that he has participated in are rumored to number in the triple digits. The nick name was given to him by Enforcer in PWR-1 after Joka broke the record for longest title run with the PWR Hardcore Title. The nick name of King Of The Cage was self bestowed by Tha Joka after a grueling cage match in GWA. Joka excells at cage matches and is currently undefeated with a 47-0 record at any and all variations of the cage match. The nick name "Master Of The DDT" was given to him in PWR-1 by Enforcer who held the nick name of "Master Of The Powerbomb" for using many different variations of powerbombs in his move set and was given to him because, like Enforcer, Joka utilized many different versions of the DDT in his move set. Triple B originates from his time as a cage/MMA fighter, when he was known as "Badass" Byron Belasko.
HEIGHT: 6'5
WEIGHT: 270 lbs
D.O.B: Unknown along with his age due to mental illness induced blackouts and memory loss and his clown paint concealing his face. Joka's long time friend and sometimes manager, Darren "Monster" Silvaira, states his birthday is November 18th though. It can be deduced that Joka is in his mid to late 30's.
HOMETOWN: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
BILLED FROM: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (abbreviated OKC)
STRENGTHS:
1: Joka is a sadomasochist (not the sexual kind) and takes pleasure in both giving and receiving pain. Joka smiles and laughs at all but the most brutal of strikes and slams. It takes a lot of punishment to stop him.
2: Joka is a lean 270 because he has bulked up considerably from his early years in wrestling. Think the transition Triple H made when he bulked up. Joka was a fast and agile high flyer in his early days but is now concentrating on his smashmouth/brawler style. As such, Joka has uncanny strength and still has some of that agility and speed that he once possessed.
3. Joka moves erratically in the ring and his biggest strength is him being unpredictable. He is a master of mind games and will try to get into his opponents head both in and out of the ring. Joka is also easy to lose control and will turn into an unstoppable berserker. These psychological aspects make him a dangerous man.

WEAKNESSES:
1: Joka is a sadomasochist (LOL!!!). He enjoys an opponent who can hurt him and sometimes gets lost in enacting punishment. Sometimes this causes he to go overboard and forget to take pins.
2: Joka has a personal motto of sorts. All he wants is to hurt people. Sometimes this will cause him to lose a match when he is too worried about inflicting pain on his opponent(s).
3: When in a triple threat or fatal four way, Joka will focus on one opponent too much and get too distracted.
ALIGNMENT: Heel/Fan Favorite
Joka has always been his best as a Heel, although he has a long illustrious career in wrestling and MMA, and as such will inevitably be cheered by some in the crowd, no matter his actions in or out of the ring. However, the boos will overpower the cheers if he does something especially spiteful to a Face or attacks prominent Baby Faces. Also, all of this is null and void when he comes down to the ring with his fellow stablemates from Phoenix as the group is well hated and will get booed viciously.

ENTRANCE
ENTRANCE THEME MUSIC AND VIDEO: In The House, In A Heartbeat by John Murphy.
ENTRANCE ATTIRE: Joka has recently been gifted his old wrestling gear back to him that he used in GWA. The custom leather wrestling pants feature a green athletic cup built into the groin area of pants and green stripes down the side of the pants. Usually wears a green belt with it. His name adorn the back pockets of the pants and the special wrestling pants also feature a built in, removable cheese grater holster that he keeps Trusty Rusty in at all times, but removes the cheese grater and holster during matches. Most of the time, Joka only adds a custom black Peter Grimm drifter hat with spikes coming out of the top. Sometimes he will wear black leather, fingerless biker gloves as well, but will take them off before the match begins. Other times, he might come out with a black leather jacket on, mixed with any of the previous additions. When called out to the ring by another wrestler during a shoot (Segment), he will usually come out wearing his backstage attire. His backstage attire is just his favorite pair of ripped jeans, with holes in the knees, usually a muscle shirt if any shirt at all, and his black cowboy hat.
ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION: "Torn Apart" begins playing and Joka's old entrance video package appears on the Monitor as red and green strobes start going off on the stage. The crowd stands up and begins booing wildly as the music begins skipping erratically and distorting. The music begins looping on the chorus as screen tears begin appearing on the video playing. Suddenly blood begins dripping down the huge screen as the words "Torn Apart" loop over and over again on the music. The crowd is abuzz with excitement, knowing what is coming next. Suddenly the house lights go off in the arena and the place is awash in total darkness. The crowd goes silent and suddenly the blood dripping in the video congeals into words...
I'm Watching You
"In The House, In A Heartbeat" by John Murphy begins playing softly through the speakers of the arena as the crowd begins humming in unison to the song. Red lights come on and illuminate the arena in crimson as the cameras zoom in to see Joka and his manager Monster standing at the top of the stage. Monster towering over Joka with his arms crossed as Joka stands with his head down and his long dreadlocks covering his face, swaying eerily side-to-side to the music. The cameras and the crowd catch a glimpse of the clown peeking up from behind his hair as the lights go out again. The crowd continues humming that macabre instrumental as they sway together in the darkness that Joka has plunged them into. Suddenly the lights come back on with Joka and Monster standing outside of the ring, Joka still swaying side-to-side to his music, his head still down and his face still covered by his long dreads with Monster still standing with his arms crossed. Joka slowly begins walking up the steel stairs into the ring as the red lights go out and the house lights come back on. Joka crawls over the top turnbuckle like a spider climbing up a wall and whips his head back violently, showing a sadistic smile on his face to the bloodthirsty elation of the crowd. His hair is covered in blood and the red liquid is starting to drip down his face as he jumps off the turnbuckle and spins around in the ring, psychotically staring out into the crowd in all directions. The crowd begins heckling Joka over and over again as Joka licks his thumb and kneels down, shining the metal tip of his steel toed boots with a smile like a golfer shining the tip of his driver.
The chanting is thunderous and it drowns out his music, which has reached its crescendo and has come full circle back to the eerily quiet part. Joka slowly walks over to the corner and falls back into it, his knees up and his arms resting slightly on each one. Monster walks over to the turnbuckle Joka is sitting at and leans in, whispering into his ear as Joka smiles sadistically again. His cold eyes staring out from behind his dreadlocks as his music dies down and the crowd goes silent.
HARDCORE ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION: **Will Have a new one up to match the new music and new personality the next time I'm in a Hardcore Match**
Match Writers - Your choice on whether to have Joka get boos or get a mixed reaction. I'll try to keep this updated to ever changing fan moods. Also... I updated to just one entrance and added the optional Hardcore Entrance to be used for Hardcore and Xcore matches.
WRESTLING STYLES & MOVESET
WRESTLING STYLE(S): Smash Mouth mixed with High Flying. Mostly uses Smashmouth style after bulking up and only breaks out high flying very rarely for special matches like Ladder, Tables, TLC, or Cage Matches or certain signature moves that call for it. Even though he has bulked up considerably, Joka still has a good amount of the quickness and agility that he once had as a lean 200 lbs high flyer in PWR-1 and GWA. Although a lot of the speed has been traded for strength, he can still wrestle move for move with wrestlers considerably smaller than him. Most Smash Mouth style wrestlers, no matter their size, are quick with their punches.
FIGHTING STYLE(S): Joka is trained extensively in Muay Boran and Aikido. Although if asked, Joka will swear, on penalty of death, that he was trained in Muay Thai, due to a promise he made to his Kru (Sensei) who is now deceased. He also has an illustrious career in MMA and knows the basics or more of several other fighting styles such as BJJ, Thai Kwon Do, and traditional boxing. While cage fighting in Asia, Joka met a Russian man who offered to supplement Joka's erratic style with a fighting system taught to him in the Russian Army during the days of the Cold War. Joka happily accepted, and this man bestowed the knowledge of the Spetsnaz GRU Hand-To-Hand Combat System to him. Joka was an extraordinary student and learned quickly what would take other men years to master. His teacher was amazed because Joka was able to utilize this system of fighting to perfectly mold and meld together the other disciplines he knew intoone flawless system of self defense. Because of his training, Joka is considered a dangerous man by many, and every part of his body is considered a deadly weapon. He has utilized his training to kill men in various wrestling and cage fighting orginizations around the world, infamously known for making an opponent in DCW bite the bumper of a car backstage, and then performed a curb stomp on the back of the mans head, breaking both the mans jaw and neck, as well as caving in the back of his skull.
BASIC IN-RING ACTIONS: Joka moves erratically and unpredictably in the ring, likened to his motives and actions out of the ring. Joka twitches and convulses inward and outward in random patterns and he usually has a macabre smile on his face as his gaze never leaves his opponent. Joka laughs at everything except the most severe of slams with a maniacal guffaw that usually seem to leave his opponents contemplating the sanity of the man. This is a combination of his mental instability and martial arts training. If the opponents mind is centered on Joka's mental state, he will lose the match before he even steps into the ring. Joka is considered a master of mind games and will manipulate an opponents mind without even trying to do so. However when he is trying, it is a beautifully sick sight to see. Joka has bulked up considerably (Think the transition Triple H made) and has not only increased his weight and size, but his muscles are more defined and he is generally more ripped than he was before.
BASIC MOVES:
Joka is relying heavily on his Smashmouth tactics since he has physically bulked up in size and weight so most of his moves will be punches, elbows, and old school Knife Hand Chops. This is a short list because of the above stated reasons
Knife Edge Chop
Standing Punches
Jumping High Knee
Exploder Suplex
DDT
Running Big Boot
Exploder Clothesline
Spinebuster
Double Leg Slam
Lou Thesz Press and Ground-And-Pound
Oklahoma Stampede
German Suplex
Thai Clinch w/ knees to face
Thai Clinch w/ Headbutt
Flapjack
Corner Powerbomb (Powerbomb into Top Turnbuckle)
Exploder Headbutt
Multiple Headbutts (Arms Underhooked or Bearhugged to restrain)
Jumping Reverse DDT
Exploder Headbutt
Multiple Headbutts (Arms Underhooked or Bearhugged to restrain)
Jumping Reverse DDT
SIGNATURE MOVE(S)
Kick to the Balls - Joka usually flips off his opponent first. Variations include bouncing off the ropes and doing a running kick to the balls, kick to the balls against an opponent in the corner, kick to the balls to someone standing outside the ropes on the apron, but Joka will NEVER kick an opponent while he is down or while his back is turned. This move can be easily countered and opponents can easily kick out of pins resulting after this move so Joka usually uses The Sadist Slam as his coup de gras. Clown Shoes are usually associated with backstage attacks, surprise attacks, or in-ring segments in between matches associated with face-to-face encounters with detractors.
Clown Slam - Oklahoma Slam - Joka's old finisher from the past. Joka does the traditional Oklahoma Slam with his own personal flare added to the end, which used to consist of him menacingly pounding down both hands onto his slammed opponents chest and staring out into the crowd with a wicked smile as the referee did a three count. However, Joka rarely goes for the pin after this move. Instead, he usually slinks and slides away on his knees, staring at his opponent in a psychotic manner as they writhe in pain.
Flying Grenade - Springboard Flying Clothesline - Counter off an Irish Whip into the ropes by jumping and springboarding off second rope, spinning in midair to face the enemy, and landing with a hard flying clothesline that resembles Kanes version of the flying clothesline. Usually kip ups after landing it. Variations include but are not limited to. Corner and Turnbuckle versions, spingboard to the outside, and static version like jumping off the side of a cage.
The Punchline - Boxing Flurry - Joka usually pulls this move out of no where, with no set up like a toe kick required. He strikes his opponent's head hard with a stiff left jab. He waits for his opponent head to bob back and strikes him again with another left jab. He finished up the move with a hard right cross that knocks his opponent down, with Joka usually scowling or growling at the audience or his opponent afterward.

He finished up the move with a hard right cross that knocks his opponent down, with Joka usually scowling or growling at the audience or his opponent afterward.
Clownensteiner - Frankensteiner w/ Springboard Body Splash - Joka positions a cornered opponent up to the top of the turnbuckle and performs his version of the Frankensteiner called The Clownsteiner. He performs the hurricanrana and lands on his feet afterwards, facing the corner turnbuckle as his opponent crashes to the mat below. Joka then grabs ahold of the top rope and jumps up, springboarding from the middle rope, twisting his body in midair, and landing across his opponents ribs with a brutal body splash.
Jokers Card - Joka holds opponent in a reverse DDT position. He brings his other arm around and slaps them hard across the chest with his elbow as he slams them down into a reverse DDT.
Joka's Wild - Triple DDT - Joka grabs his opponents head in a DDT position and performs his traditional faceplant DDT (Rock Style) without letting go. He then drags them up to a standing position and performs it again without letting go. Lastly, he drags them up to a standing position once again and this time performs a jumping Impaler DDT (Edges Edgecution).
Torture Treatment - Crippler Crossface - Submission finisher. He only uses this move when he is in a submission match or I Quit match.
HARDCORE SIGNATURE MOVE(S)
The Killing Joke - Joka sets up a downed opponent in the corner with a trash can wedged between the bottom and middle ropes where it is directly in front of the face of his opponent. He climbs the next corner to the top rope and jumps from turnbuckle to turnbuckle performing a flying front dropkick into the trash can sending it crashing into his opponents face.
Xtreme Clown Slam - Joka's old finisher, The Clown Slam, performed through a table or performed through commentators table.
Xtreme Oklahoma Stampede - Same as Xtreme Clown Slam. Slam opponents onto thumbtacks, chairs, tables, anything really.
Joka likes to perform his Spinebuster, German Suplex, DDT, and Clown Slam on opponents where they land back first onto a chair. He also likes to choke out opponents with one of his favorite weapons, his own personal razor wire wrapped baseball bat.
And last but definitely not least. Joka will use his infamous cheese grater; Trusty Rusty, in all manner of destructive ways. Smashing people over the head with it. Wedging his fist inside of it and punching his opponent or using this method to supplement his move The Punchline by wedging his fist into the kitchen utensil and using that fist as the finishing punch in the boxing flurry. However, his favorite way to use this weapon is to use it how it was intended, by raising the head of a downed opponent and slowly scraping off the flesh of their foreheads as he laughs maniacally.
FINISHING MOVE(S):
Sadist Slam - Jackhammer - Joka lifts his opponent up as if to suplex them. He might hold them up for several seconds or slam them right away but instead of suplexing his opponent traditionally, he twists his body as he twists theirs and slams them onto their back as he falls down with them, doing a body splash across their ribs as they land. Variations include Sadist Slamming opponents on to tables or through the commentator table, Sadist Slamming opponents from the top turnbuckle, Sadist Slamming opponents off ladders, and Sadist Slamming opponents off cages. The higher up he Sadist Slams an opponent... the more prone to injury he and his opponent are.
Clown Shoes - Flying Double Foot Stomp to groin - Joka grabs ahold of the top rope and springs himself up to the top turnbuckle. He will flip of his opponent or flip off the camera or crowd. Joka leaps off the top turnbuckle and performs a double footstomp onto his opponent's groin area (HIS BAWLS). Seth Iser has the distinction of receiving the first flying Clown Shoes. Joka decided after that brutal hardcore match that the Clown Shoes would forever be changed to the flying version and his kick to the balls would just be referred as a kick to the balls.
PERSONALITY
FOR MATCH WRITERS AND REFERANCES FOR ANYONE USING JOKA IN A ROLEPLAY OR SEGMENT
As stated already in this biography, Joka has a plethora of diagnosed and undiagnosed mental illness' and severe mental instability. However, Joka is an unusual case as all his mental illness' coexist together and manifest themselves accordingly. When one symptom or series of symptoms are noticeable, it is only becuase the others are overpowered and as such, appear gone or hidden away.
Byron Belasko: Considered the original identity or the conscious side of the mans psyche. Even though he is considered good, it is only because it is in relation regarding the personality of the other identities within the psyche. At Byrons best he can be considered light hearted, laid back, comical, and compassionate. At his worst, he is angry, vengeful, spiteful, with a wicked sense of humor.
Tha Joka: The name Byron chose to give to his sadistic identity, as it was this identity that chose to use the name as his wrestling ring name. The Joka is considered the "Evil" identity and controls the subconscious of the psyche. Due to this, no matter how hard Byron tries to fight Joka, no matter how good he tries to be, he will always have violent and sadistic tendencies. Joka is viciously sociopathic and sadistically manipulative. His sense of humor is violent and psychotic, and he tends to be the only one to laugh at his jokes.
Hidden Identity: After Joka's trip to the otherworldly realm of Hell, he has noticed another powerful voice that slowly whispers dark secrets into his ear. At first this identity revealed itself to Joka by conversing with him through his cheese grater. However, when Joka was seperated from this object during his recent stay at an asylum, the voice began to slowly become more powerful, not needing an intermediary through which to converse with both Joka and Byron. As Joka is the weakest of the two main Identities (amongst the several identities that have come and gone throughout the years), this hidden identity chooses Joka as his focus of torment.

I'm sure there are more... but it was a stretch to remember these. I'm not going to put down how many times I won each title because I feel winning the belt once is the most important part but most of those titles were won multiple times.
OTHER AWARDS: A few Best Roleplayer, Match Of The Year, Best Writer, and Best This and That... don't really care to remember because all of that personal out of character stuff doesn't concern me. I dislike competition personally and don't put much stock in popularity contests. I actually, quite a few times, asked people not to vote for me. All I'm concerned with is people liking my character and my writing.
BIOGRAPHY
Choice Excerpts from Joka's Autobiography "The Men Behind The Paint"
Born Byron Belasko in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Date of birth is unknown as well as exact birthday because of a childhood diagnosis of Schizophrenia which was later changed to Disassociative Personality Disorder in his adult life, which caused severe blackouts and memory loss, coupled with a distancing of himself from any and all blood relatives. Joka was born into a chaotic environment on the wrong side of the tracks, with abusive parents, and a chaotic home life. All of this was the perfect storm for a young Byron and his mental disorder, kept unchecked by lack of medication and treatment, grew and strengthened. Joka currently is diagnosed with a long list of mental disorders that include Schizophrenia, Catatonic Schizophrenia, Disassociative Personality Disorder, several Dilusional Disorders, Kleptomania, Extreme Parasomnia, Sadomasochism, Pyromania, Schizoaffective Disorder, and has a form of Obsessive-Compulsive disorder that rarely rears its ugly head.
Joka ran away from home at an early age and quickly found himself fighting in local ilegal street fights in the Oklahoma City underground. Soon he was given the nick name of "Badass" Byron Belasko as he won more and more fights and began to make a name for himself as a brutally violent fighter. Byron found himself getting booked in fights all over the country and soon found that fighters from other countries wanted a piece of the "American Badass from Oklahoma". Byron found himself pitted against a towering man from Brazil standing at seven feet, two inches tall known as Darren "Monster" Silvaira. The fight lasted for hours and even though Joka came out with the victory, him and Monster quickly hit it off as a mutual respect was gained. Monster has appeared as Joka's manager off and on during his future wrestling career and has wrestled in many prestigous wrestling companies through the years. Byron began wearing his famous clown make-up during this point in his career after making a friend in New Orleans who revealed himself to be a Voodoo priest. The man painted a skull design on his face to resemble the dead and this later inspired the skull design that Joka used during his wrestling career.
One night, during a particularly violent fight, Byron was approached by a man working as a talent scout for a local Oklahoma City wrestling organization. Joka quickly joined their roster and quickly rose the ranks into mid card title matches. At first he was known as "The Evil Clown" and "The Witch Doctor", also wrestling under the names Baron Samedi in Texas and Sinister in a Midwest wrestling organization, but later changed his name when another wrestler commented on Byron never taking anything serious. The man was from Boston and had a thick Boston accent and would always call Byron a "Jokeh". Rumors abound that Joka stole his name from several sources, but the name was given to him, and he ran with it. Finally settling on a ring name, Tha Joka went on to more success winning low and mid card titles around the country in several organizations. The following is Tha Joka explaining it in his own words.
{God I can't even remember of the name of that Yankee! Nobody could ever shut that guy up about hockey or the Boston Red Sox. What else was a guy to do except joke around and make fun of the guy. I remember the first time he called me "Jokeh". As soon as I walked backstage with my backpack I saw him walking towards me so I stopped him in the hall and told him a joke. Oh, what joke was it? Oh yeah! I asked him if he wanted to hear the shortest joke in the world. He nodded so I says to him "So two women are sitting quietly together" and I walk away. He stood there confused for about 10 seconds and finally smirked and as I looked back he yelled out "Oh Clown, you got jokes and jokes fah days! We oughtta staht callin yah Theh Jokeh!". Pretty soon everyone was calling me that as they tried to do their best Boston accents, and the rest is history. I don't actually remember choosing to use the name, but I do remember the first time I was called it.}
One day while working a few shows on the East Coast, Joka was approached by a man known as The Phenom. This man invited Byron to come work for him at his new company, Phenomenal Championship Wrestling. Joka accepted but the company soon folded under. However, Joka was soon invited to join another company by the same man and quickly accepted, and joined the roster of Genocide Wrestling. The company was still young and Joka and the CEO of GW, Crystal, did not particularly get along well. Joka celebrated mild success under her reign but soon she handed control of her company over to a man known as Rob "Iron Man" Bissel. Joka was given several chances to shine with Iron Man in control, and when Rob left the company to start his own, Joka was invited along with a handful of Genociders, and happily accepted. Crystal was furious, dubbing the departure of the wrestlers she deemed as turncoats as "The Dark Day". The Dark Day incident went down as a legendary day in the History Books of the wrestling world for two reasons. One, the Dark Day Incident spawned one of the biggest and most successful wrestling organizations in history. Two, The Dark Day would see the rise of Tha Joka to heavyweight title and main event status and worldwide fame. Iron Man and the rest of the roster chose the name "Pro Wrestling Revolution" as a fitting title to the new company, and began quickly in building it up into the legendary company it has become today.
At the same time, Joka was invited to tour with another young company known as Great Wrestling Action. Even though the workload and travel was excruciating, Joka accepted and won The No Limits Championship within his first month. At the same time, Joka and Ice won the PWR-1 Tag Team Championships as The Death Pact. Together they formed a group with Cross of the same name and soon changed their tag team name to The Death Pact Assassins, or The DPA for short. The same thing was reflected in GWA as Joka, together with Juggalo Extreme and Diciple, formed The Dark Carnival. Joka soon found the hardcore, intercontinental, tag team, and TV divisions to be lacking, and was thusly propelled into the Heavyweight divisions of both companies. Joka soon won the World Heavyweight Championships in both companies, in the same month. However, Joka's mental instability was starting to show itself as GWA Joka and PWR-1 Joka were so dramatically different from each other, like two entirely different people, that it led some to believe one was the real Joka while the other was an imposter. Joka has gone on record in his autobiograpy as saying that one actually was an imposter, as the PWR-1 Joka was his split personality taking control. Joka has been quoted as saying "I didn't really join PWR-1 until after I won the Heavyweight Belt, because I don't remember anything before it". Joka has stated that he doesn't quite remember making the choice to wrestle under the moniker "The Evil Clown" or "Tha Joka" either, but went with it anyway as he had experienced time lapses like this in the past. The following is from an interview early on after he won both Heavyweight Titles in GWA and PWR-1.
{It was like one day... I just woke up, BOOM! There I was, standing in the ring, with the PWR-1 Heavyweight Title in my hand... standing in a ring I'd never seen before and looking out at a crowd that I'd never seen before. Suddenly I have these guys named Ice and Cross approaching me backstage acting like my best friends. I was definitely confused, but I had blacked out before and had memory loss as a child so I was used to it, although I had never blacked out to this extent before. I began to worry about this so I decided to see a shrink about it. Spending all of my time at the shrink and still wrestling on the road every week in two different companies was one of the main contributing factors to me eventually losing both the PWR-1 and GWA Heavyweight Championship, but I had to find out what was going on with me. So this is when the doc diagnosed me with DPD (Disassociative Personality Disorder) along with a slew of about a dozen more mental illnesses. He told me that I had several other personalities inside of me that were constantly fighting to get out, and that one nasty personality in particular, had silently gained a foothold on my psyche years ago. He was the one who followed Iron Man and Mark Spurlock and all those guys over to PWR-1, and he did a damn good job of hiding it from me. Worst of all... this alter ego absolutely loathed the mere thought of me. So here I was wrestling in two different companies and didn't even know it. I'd wrestle for GWA as Tha Joka but without having a clue, the REAL Joka would come out, hop a plane, and go wrestle in PWR-1 as this evil little clown following this crazy evil dude named Cross. Years later I'm still duking it out everyday with this clown in my head!}
His actions and motives on both shows began to bring to light this constant struggle he was having in his own mind as he would quickly turn from being a heel to a face and back again within the time frame of weeks and days. Byron began to become ever more paranoid and erratic as the fight with Tha Joka continued on and on. Years later, after he parted ways with both companies and resumed his MMA career, he met a man in Thailand, who surprisingly chose to teach this outsider the art of Muay Boran. The teachings, along with learning the art of Aikido a little while later, brought about an inner peace in Byron and he was able to use it to keep his other personalities at bay. After his Kru (Thai word for Master) died in a horrible fire, Byron fled the country and resumed his MMA career in Northern Asia where he met yet another man looking to teach this young prodigy a thing or two. The man went on to teach Byron the same sytem of fighting taught to him in the covert, black ops arm of the Russian Army known as The Spetznas. This military man, not knowing what was hiding just below the surface, taught Byron Belasko how to use the Spetznas GRU Hand-To-Hand Combat SYstem, and in turn taught it to Tha Joka. Byron was able to utilize this system to mold all of his martial arts into one cohesive fighting system, and Tha Joka was able to utilize it for his own destructive means. He used it to kill. He used it to kill Byrons long lost cousin turned manager Christina. Once he had a taste for blood he used it to kill again, and again, and again.
Joka took over completely and left Byron locked inside his own mind. Joka took it upon himself to join the most sadistic and violent company he could find. He joined Deathcore Wrestling on their Deadpool show. Joka used his new found abilities to murder one wrestler by curb stomping him onto the bumper of a car backstage, killing him almost instantly. Again he used his abilities to kill as the DCW arena was overrun with the undead. Joka would laugh like a child and take delight in standing his ground and slaughtering the undead by the hundreds as his co-stars ran screaming from the zombie horde. Joka, along with a handful of survivors, soon found themselves hopelessly lost in the mazelike corridors underneath the massive DCW arena, while the rest of the DCW roster faught the horde above them. Soon things took a dramatic turn for the macabre and unbelievable as Joka, along with his zombie hunting crew that included the likes of Johnny Nailz and Reaper, faught their way through undead witches, murderers from alternate realities, and eventually, Beholders. Although Joka and his band of zombie hunters were victorious, Johnny Nailz was pulled down to Hell and Joka followed to save him. After battling his way through Hell, dispatching Demons as he went with the golden battle axe gifted to him by Reaper, Joka came face-to-face with Lucifer himself. Or so he thought, actually he was face-to-face with Lucifers son Satan, and Satans High General, Belial. Joka slowly walked up to Satan, and quickly kicked him in the balls, and took the oppurtunity to destroy Belial. Satan knew that this mere mortal would not stop until Nailz was released, and knew that depriving his father Lucifer of a soul would make him angry, banished both from the realm and returned them to the corridors under the DCW arena. Joka went on to defeat the mad scientist responsible for the outbreak of the zombie virus by injecting himself with the serum of undeath.
Joka went on to wrestle with several more companies while in the employ of DCW but during a lengthy fued with the man known as Crisis, Joka was hanged from the rafters of the DCW arena until he choked to death. As death was an all too common occurance at DCW and DCW: Deadpool, Joka's lifeless body was unceremoniously discarded in the tomb-like corridors underneath the DCW Arena and forgotten about. As unbelievable as this sounds, this man told me this story while hooked up to a lie detector and passed with flying colors. Either he is a very good liar, or he is telling the truth and he actually travelled to hell. The following is Joka telling the story of when he died at the hands of Crisis in DCW and his experiences in the afterlife.
{I came to, and there was nothing but desert in all directions as far as I could see. The sky was covered in red clouds, like the color of storm clouds in Oklahoma as the sun sets. I heard screaming and began to run in the direction of it and that's when I looked down. The sand was pitch black and there were faces coming out of it. Men and women with horribly disfigured faces, screaming and moaning in pain. I looked up in disbelief and saw giants lumbering in the distance, some as tall as skyscrapers. Suddenly I heard a whisper and it said to me "you are not welcome here". I looked up and saw someone walking in the distance. I hurried to catch up to them, trying my hardest not to step on anyones face, as hard as that is to believe. As soon as I reached the person I grabbed them by the shoulder and flipped them around, opening my mouth to ask them where I was, and I was issued an eyeful of nothing. His face was completely blank. No eyes, no nose, no mouth, no cheek bones or chin, no ears, like a store mannequine! Again I heard the words whispered into my ear; "You are not welcome here". I walked for what seemed like months and years, never getting hungry, or sleepy, or thirsty, or tired. I walked, always sensing that someone or some "thing" was following me. Periodically hearing those words whispered into my ear. I walked until I saw it in the distance. Two black spires jutting up from the desert floor, with red lightning striking the ground behind them. I walked until I got closer and realized the two towers were joined in the middle by a huge gate, dripping with blood. I saw a line of people crawling to a huge creature that had the upper body of a beautiful woman but the lower body of a giant snake. I was about to run to the gate far off into the distance but was stopped in my tracks by a hand grabbing ahold of my arm. I looked down and the hand was white, the whitest white I've ever seen. I looked up slowly and saw a very tall man in a black robe looking down at me, his face hidden underneath his black hood. Slowly I asked him what this place was and he told me it was the "Land of the Forgotten Dead". I asked him if it was Limbo and he told me it was not, for Limbo is at the edge of the Infernum. I questioned what that meant and he calmly explained that Limbo was on the edge of the "Hell of the Damned", which made it apart of Hell. So, excited, I shouted, "so you're tellin' me I'm NOT in Hell? Thank fuckin' God!". He tilted his head at this and whispered to me "God? God didn't have anything to do with it. You can go ask him yourself if you wish?". I told him fuck no I don't wanna go talk to some stuffy ass God because I was enjoying my time here in mini Hell SO much! Apparently sarcasm falls on deaf ears in the afterlife because the guy just stood there continuing on with the creepy bit. So I asked him who he was. Word for word, he answered "Some call me Azra'il, others call me Thanatos, still others have names for me like Cu Sith, Abbadon The Destroyer, Giltine, Yama or Yamaraj, Samael, and Michael, but you yet may know me by another name.
"Death" I interjected accidently as I covered my mouth in embarrassment. He nods to me and answers yes to me as he stands there, keeping up the creepy vibe thing. At this point I don't really know what to say. I know I should have had about a thousand questions for him, but the only thing that came out of my mouth was, "wanna play some chess?". Suddenly a chess board appeared in front of me with no peices on it. Death looked down at me and asked if I wanted to be black or white, I told him black, and with a snap of his fingers suddenly my skin began turning black right before my eyes. Apparently Death has a sense of humor and I instantly started laughing about it. He nodded his head in approval and after covering the board with the long overhang of his sleeve, he removed it to reveal the chess pieces in place. We both sat down on invisible chairs and began to play chess as our conversation continued.
"So I'm dead then?" I asked him as he moved a piece across the board. "No" he answered as I moved my Knight. I screamed the word no in disbelief as he stared down at the board from under his hood. "The fuck you mean, NO?" I asked him. He looked up after moving another piece and answered "You are not welcome here". At this point I remembered all those years of walking through the desert of sadness, as I'd come to think of it, and hearing that very same thing. I was speechless and we continued to play chess in silence. After awhile, after that macabre bastard took my Queen, I fired up the conversation again and asked him where I was. "You are in Tartarus! A place where fallen angels are cast down to for punishment. A place where the giants of Old have been imprisoned. A place where the wicked dead go to slumber." he answered as I sat there with an obvious look of shock on my face. I asked him who the snake lady at the gate was and where the gate lead to. "She is Campe, the Gaurdian of Tartarus, and the Black Gate leads to The Underworld, which thusly leads to Hell, which borders Limbo and Purgatory where the war between Heaven and Hell Rages on." Again I sat there, not playing chess anymore, wondering why the hell I was there. "So the giants of Old, those big mo'fo's lumbering around in the distance..." I asked, being interrupted by Death as he said, "They are the Titans. The Gods of The Gods.".
Confused, I asked him how Christian dieties could coexist next to Greek and Roman dieties, and again he answered word-for-word. "When God was choosing a place to Host Heaven, he chose Uranus, The Realm named for The God Of The Sky, husband of Gaia, the Realm named for the Goddess Of The Earth. When he cast Lucifer from his ranks and banished him from Heaven, Lucifer landed in Hades. Hades being both the God Of The Underworld and The Underworld itself. Lucifer chose to host Hell within Hades. You have been there, where I believe you met Lucifers son; Satan, and his High General; Belial?" Smiling at this I shouted. "AND I KICKED THAT FOOLS ASS AND CHOPPED HIS UGLY HEAD OFF OF HIS BITCH-ASS NECK!".
Seeing the excitement in my face and the elevation of my voice, Death sadly went on to add that I had not killed nor had I destroyed Belial, but that I had only banished him to Sheol, where he faught his way through all manner of ghouls and vile lower demons back to Hell and back to Satan, his master. So I said "So wait a quick second! All of this exists? All these different dieties exist within the realms of Neptune, Gaia, and Hades?" Death nodded his head. "But I'm an Athiest, I never believed in any of this!" I exclaimed to Death. Death, moving another piece on the board, looks down at me and removes his hood to reveal his face. His face is as white as his hands and reveals the visage of an old man. He is completely bald with a short cut beard, whiter than his skin, covering his mouth and growing long at the bottom. His eyes were jet black with no pupils or iris. He leans in and with a chilling voice, tells me "None of this relies on your belief to exist."
Death and I talked more about the manner of Heaven and Hell, of Uranus and Hades, of Fallen Angels and Demons, and that chess game lasted for what seemed like an eternity! Finally, as my bishop moved into place and checkmated him, I asked him one last question. I asked him "I have no dilusions of going to Heaven or entering the realm of Urunas. So when I died, why didn't I go to Hell?"
"Because Lucifer and Satan have forbade you from entering Hell ever again! Said a solemn Death as he stared at his King. "Because I defeated Belial in combat?" I asked, confused. Death looks up quickly and responds sharply "AND because you defeated an ENTIRE regiment of demons before you got to Belial. Not just any regiment, but the High Generals own personal regiment of soldiers consisting of some of the most ancient demons known to exist, and you did what entire regiments of Heavens High Army have failed to do. You not only angered the Lords of Hell... you made the High Heavens envious and resentful of your actions! You are not welcome in neither Heaven... or Hell!
"Well I'll be God Damned!" I exclaimed.
"And Devil Damned as well!" Death answers.
"So you intervened, payed off your Medusa looking lady-friend over there with the crazy snake hair, and brought me to her realm... to do what exactly?" Death went on to explain to me that at first, he was simply going to send me right back to Earth and back to my mortal shell. However, when he saw my lack of fear replaced by a childlike curiousity, and saw how determined I was to set about escaping this realm, that he himself became curious as well. He chose to follow me in my expedition toward the Black Spires and only decided to intervene so that I wouldn't do something crazy and defeat Campe to get past her, as defeating her would set in motion an unguarded Tartarus. He also relayed to me the joy and sense of peace he gets from playing chess and told me that I was only one of ten beings to best him at the game, the likes of which included Odin, Da Vinci, and Luis Ramirez de Lucena, the writer of The Repetición de Amores y Arte de Ajedrez (Repetition of Love and the Art of Playing Chess). Before returning to my mortal coil, I shook Deaths hand, and wished him well. He didn't say any final words, but when I shook his hand, I glimpsed everything that was, everything that had been, and every possible thing that could be, and I'll never forget the images that filled my mind.
I awoke in my body, surrounded by the darkness of the corridors of the DCW Arena, and inhaled a long overdue breath of fresh air. I composed myself the best I could and escaped that tomb, never to return again.}
What Joka had failed to mention was that when he composed himself, he noticed his skin was abnormally pale. Joka went on to find out a grisly discovery about himself. After being struck in the head in a bar fight in his hometown of Oklahoma City, he had come to realize his tolerance for pain had shot to shot up to remarkable levels. Extreme pain could still be felt though. He decided to run a few experiments on himself but they were short lived. One evening, as he exited a local tavern in his hometown, he was struck by a drunk driver, pummeled underneath the tires which caused severe lacerations and broken bones, and left broken and bleeding to death in the middle of the street. He passed out from the shock of the experience and awoke in the morning with a crowd gathered around him. There was a pool of blood underneath his body and upon investigating his bloody body, he revealed no lacerations or broken bones.
This was a dark time for Tha Joka, who had discovered that the actions taken by him and others in Deathcore Wrestling had resulted in him joining the ranks as a member of the undead. He had yet to figure out the combination of actions that resulted in his mutation but he surmised that it had something to do with the horde of undead that attacked the arena, mixed with injecting himself with the zombie virus, and possibly his travels to the otherwordly realm of the underworld. Although he had all his senses and wits about him, he found himself with a heightened healing factor and the unability to die by anything short of decapitation. He was a cognitive zombie, and forced on the run as the government was relentless in capturing him and conducting their own gruesome studies on him.
Some have gone on record as saying this is only a manifestation of Joka's schizo-induced paranoid dilussions but records show evidence to support Tha Joka's wild theories. The top of the list would include youtube videos of the matches he wrestled in Indy and Overseas wrestling companies. In one video, he is shown being struck in the head by his own barbed wire wrapped baseball bat. The bat left a large laceration next to a small scratch on his head. While in a chokehold, the camera zooms in to get a good look at the blood flowing from Joka's head and reveals the scratch closing and disappearing as the eyeballs in Joka's head begin to roll back into his head. More evidence includes his leg being visibly broken in another match in Japan with him continuing the match instead of seeking medical attention. By the end of the match, his leg had straightened back to a normal position and later he was only diagnosed with a sprained ankle.
After running for most of his time after Deathcore Wrestling. He tried to stabalize his chaotic life in TEW, but his past caught up to him and he had to again flee. He tried once more to settle in NEW but to no avail. His chaotic past had caught up to him and after fleeing NEW, he was taken in to custody and surprisingly, was admitted to an asylum. During his stay at this asylum he met a man by the name of Bobby Backdoor that had started a fight club in the asylum. Bobby had heard about Joka's rough and tumble past and booked Joka into several fights which he quickly won. The two men, being about as opposite as two men could possibly be, became the best of friends. Bobby was summarily released from the asylum due to his actions and Joka was later released because of overcrowding. Joka was able to manipulate the doctors into giving him the all clear to be released.
Now Joka returns to NEW with a new lease on life and a slate wiped clean, no longer needing to run from a government that has apparently forgotten about him due to extreme corruption and scandals.
