PERSONALITY
Sky has a very detached personality, while not really seeming to have 'normal' social skills. She tends to 'portray' whatever she feels is necessary for the situation, though the weather patterns of the time also seem to have an influence on her emotions (more cheerful during sunshine, and more hateful during rain). A manipulative yet incredibly intelligent business woman, Sky makes waves whenever it benefits her, or entertains her. She's not a fan of 'old-school' wrestling mentalities, and likes to make things as senselessly brutal as possible.
(OOC: Sky will lean toward standing on the side of "heel" characters, over faces. Especially those who are obviously assholes/cause trouble)
WRESTLING BACKGROUND
Sky started out in the Mixed Martial Arts community, first entering an MMA school in Atlanta, Georgia around 15 years old. Throughout the next three years, she fought to eventually earn a certificate in both Muay Thai and Kenpo, after garnering multiple victories in a few small-town tournaments. In a very small amount of time, she went from being a trainer in her academy, to moving her way up to becoming an assistant and eventually official trainer of a couple of bigger names in the world of MMA. Having moved to South Carolina within the next few years, Sangue decided to not only retain her place as a trainer, but to also take part in a few local events there as well, nearly reaching state champion... that is, until she went back to visit her old school in Georgia, and met a professional wrestler named Cera. Her fascination with the wrestling world began that day, and she never even bothered to show up to her final MMA fight, offering no explanation or apologies. Within the next few years, Sky traveled across the country, visiting wrestling federations and professional wrestlers, learning of different styles and techniques, until becoming a wrestler herself. After becoming one of the country's more prominent female fighters, Sky suddenly up and vanished... again, no explanations. Finally Sangue returned to the wrestling world a couple years later, once again becoming a well known and powerful manager. Her obvious in-ring and backstage skills, along with her in-depth knowledge of wrestling and fighting as a whole, is what grasped Stefan Frei's attention, and he hired her as the General Manager of his newfound federation, VOW.
Bio
Years of her life have been buried by an unknown source, and to this day remain a mystery. But what is known is rather unsettling. Born during the time nuclear explosions were rattling Ukraine, a place her Italian mother had taken her for a reason unbeknownst to anyone, Sky Sangue got out lucky after a pretty bad explosion rocked the small village she was in, leaving scarring and a few minor internal issues the only reminder of that day. Her mother, on the other hand, got the short end of the straw, having died from extreme exposure to radiation. Sky was then sent back to her American father over in Italy, where they stayed for around 8 years before returning to the states. No one knows the relationship between the two, or how Sky was as a child. And the rest of her youth is a blur to everyone, including the young woman herself. From 9 years old to her mid-teens, Sangue has no recollection of what happened. All that she knows it that her father is gone, and she ended up in an odd hospital-esque facility (most likely a mental institution), hooked up to strange machines. Her last year there, she met a little girl named Jen, who promised that they'd "meet again someday"...
At 15, she was transferred out of this establishment and into foster care, where her newfound foster parents allowed her to partake in MMA classes. During her time in Mixed Martial Arts, as she became more and more talented and professional, Sky also became more erratic in her way of life. Her moods shifted at the mere changing of clouds, and not only did no one in her neighborhood really like her, but her foster parents were seen in an almost... dazed... state of mind around her. As she came into adulthood, becoming a trainer in her academy, Sangue called the number on an ad looking for a roommate, and soon moved in with Christine Jamie. She soon learned that Christine wasn't exactly 'normal' herself, having been through more than two dozen roommates in the span of a year because of her 'obsessive' tendencies, and habitual clean-freak status. But simply because Christine seemed to accept Sky's 'unique' personality, the other did the same, and they became good friends.
As 2009 hit, Sky having become more and more famous as a trainer, manager and fighter, she eventually ended up back at the place her 'life' began, to find the little girl from before (now a very young adult herself) waiting for her. This woman introduced her to the wrestling world's newest 'threat', as it were... the Baddest Bitch, Cera. Jen, Cera's manager, showed Sky everything there was to know about this woman. Not only did this cause Sky to develop an obsession with wrestling as a whole, but also with Cera... to the point where she formed a cult following in the name of the Baddest Bitch. While leading this cult, Sangue became increasingly aware of and knowledgeable in the wrestling business. After only a year, she had become a world renowned fighter... only to disappear for two more years. No one, not even her friend Christine, had any idea what happened. And when Sky is questioned about it, she simply says that it is something she "cannot discuss". Re-appearing after these two years, Sangue returned to making her name known as an intelligent, powerful wrestling manager, until she found a job opening... to which she applied... and was hired, by Stefan Frei, as the VOW General Manager...
