Main Event
(Cera Vs. Rayne Draven-Omega)
We return from a brief commercial break and just in time for tonight's main event, as Axel and Ruby are seated at their booth. Weighing in on the situation that continues to escalate between Casanova English and Starrkadian.
Axel Reid: I'm still in complete and utter shock, Ruby... He was keeping tabs on Laura away from the arena after Starr had sent her home! That's not only disturbing, but also highly illegal! He's stalking her!!
Ruby Parvati: All is fair in love and war, Axel. You might be in shock, but this is something I could have seen happening a mile away. Starrkadian may not be all brawn... But his mind is no match for English's! It's like I said earlier before the break. He might think two moves ahead... but English thinks five moves ahead, which makes him one hell of a problem to deal with!
Axel Reid: I guess we'll have to wait and see how Starrkadian is going to respond once he catches wind of this, folks... but coming up next, it is our main event of the evening and man has this been building since the start of the week! Rayne Draven-Omega will go one on one with Cera in what is sizing up to be a knock down, drag out fight before an actual wrestling match!
Ruby Parvati: I don't really care much for either one of them, Axel. They're lesser beings compared to the one and only Ruby Parvati, but it's no secret that these two wants to rip each other apart and Frei has given them a ring to do it in!
Axel Reid: Well, we also have to take into account the incident at the Omega residence earlier in the week that resulted in the injury to the hand of Rayne. There isn't much information on it, though it is rumored that Cera and Jen were seen leaving the house that evening.
Ruby Parvati: I'm no detective, Axel... But I'm willing to bet she was behind it. The so called "Baddest Bitch" has definitely lived up to her own moniker if she and her bird brained manager were responsible.
Jerry Heisenberg: Ladies and gentleman... the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is the MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!... Making her way to the ring first. Standing 5'3" tall and weighing in at 137lbs... From Saylorville, Iowa... RAYNE DRAVEN-OMEGA!!!
“All I really want is something beautiful to say.
All I really want is something beautiful to say.”
‘Words as Weapons’ by Seether kicks in with Shaun Morgan’s haunting “ahhhhh-oooooooooooOOooooo.” The lights in the arena dim as a violet fog folls up from the stage. Black lights turn on as the first verse begins.
“Keep me locked up in your broken mind
I keep searching never been able
To find a light behind your dead eyes
Not anything at all”
Rayne Draven-Omega emerges from the tunnel dressed in a hooded sleeveless white leather trenchcoat, opened to reveal her violet wrestling trunks and a violet athletic halter top, each with white accents, Her legs protected by white and violet shin guards over white boots. Her raven black hair is covered by the white hood but the look of her intentions ooze out from behind the dark eyeliner, shadow, and red lipstick. Paxar Vega emerges right behind Rayne in a skin tight blue outfit. RDO curtsies to the the crowd and proceeds as the drums kick in.
“You keep living in your own lie
Ever deceitful and ever unfaithful
Keep me guessing, keep me terrified
Take everything from my world.”
Rayne walks a detemined pace to the ring as Paxar slaps the hands of the fans in the front row on the way to the ring.
“Ahhhhh-oooooooooooOOooooo
ahhhhh-oooooooooooOOooooo
Say, ‘can you help me’ right before the fall
Take what you can and leave me to the wolves.”
“Keep me dumb, keep me paralyzed
Why keep swimmming, I’m drowning in fable
You’re not that saint that you externalize
You’re not anything at all
It’s oh so playful when you demonize
To spit out the hateful you’re willing and able
Your words are weapons of the terrified
You’re nothing in my world.”
Rayne climbs on the apron as Paxar stops at ringside. From there, RDO hooks her legs on the top rope and hangs upside down
“Ahhhhh-oooooooooooOOooooo
ahhhhh-oooooooooooOOooooo
Say, ‘can you help me’ right before the fall
Take what you can and leave me to the wolves.”
RDO flips back over into the ring and curtsies to the crowd one more time.
“All I really want is something beautiful to say
Keep me guessing, keep me terrified
All I really want is something beautiful to say
You keep living in your own lie”
Rayne undoes her trenchcoat, folds it and hands it out of the ring to Paxar.
“All I really want is something beautiful to say
To never fade away
I wanna live forever.
All I really want is something beautiful to say
To never fade away
I wanna live forever.”
RDO gets in a squatting position waiting for Cera as she waves her arms for her to come down the aisle.
Axel Reid: I've never seen a more determined expression, Ruby... Rayne is ready for anything that Cera plans on throwing her way!
Ruby Parvati: Yeah, but look at her right hand! It is encased in thick bandaging, Axel. I guess our sources were right?
Axel Reid: I guess so as well... and if that's the case, then there is no doubt in my mind Cera will see that bandaged hand as a gigantic bullseye.
Ruby Parvati: We're about to find out... because here comes trouble...
The sounds of dripping water and footsteps echo throughout the arena, as the crowd is drowned in a sea of crimson light... and we suddenly hear:
"And it is from this world of darkness which come the evil, destructive forces of man's nature..."
The voice fades out, and suddenly the lights flash brightly once as the opening rifts of "You're Insane" by Escape the Fate scream out from the speakers. The tron flashes on, showcasing video feed of multiple matches and backstage attacks by an unidentified woman. Then, with the first verse of the song, a figure dressed in thick heeled boots and revealing leather clothing steps out onto the stage. A smirk crawls upon this woman's lips as the crowd goes hysterical with boos at the appearance of none other than the Baddest Bitch herself. Narrowing her eyes, Cera glances arrogantly at the fans as she moves slowly forward, the lights following her every movement. Her manager Jen slips in from the crowd with a mango smoothie in hand, as Cera reaches the ring, leaps over the ropes acrobatically, and lands on the mat. She then saunters forward and offers a wicked gaze to the commentators and crowd, before turning back around to calmly await the start of the match.
However, the moment she does... Rayne is right in her face and decks her with a stiff left hand as the bell sounds!!
DING! DING! DING!
Axel Reid: And Rayne is wasting no time whatsoever!
Ruby Parvati: They say revenge is a dish best served cold, Axel! And there's nothing colder than a closed fist!
Continuing her repeated punches to Cera, Rayne refuses to back away even after the warning from the official. She then transitions into boots to the mid section as each one causes the Baddest Bitch to sink further into the corner. Rayne stomps the chest of her opponent, then whirls around before violently stomping her again! She repeats this process several times as the crowd has exploded into cheers! Finally, she is forced away from Cera by the referee as she plays to the crowd momentarily. Leaving Cera sitting against the bottom rope, holding her chest as she pants heavily from the mud hole stomping she'd just received.
Axel Reid: I don't think we've ever seen someone take the fight to Cera like this before, Ruby!
Ruby Parvati: Yeah? Well she'd better do a better job of harnessing her emotions! Otherwise she'll get disqualified!!
Axel Reid: Something tells me that's the least of her concerns right now. She is out to teach Cera a lesson! And a painful one at that...
Draven-Omega brushes past the official and grabs Cera by the hair, bringing her to her feet and then pulling her out of the corner. Rayne whips Cera hard into the ropes and rushes toward her... she attempts a spinning wheel kick, but it's ducked by the Baddest Bitch who continues running in the opposition direction. RDO is quick to her feet and turns around...
ONLY TO BE KICKED SQUARE IN THE FACE BY A HUGE SPRINGBOARD TORNADO KICK FROM CERA!!
Axel Reid: Oh my God, what a kick!!
Ruby Parvati: Good night Irene!
Axel Reid: Her name is Rayne...
Ruby Parvati: Rayne? Irene? What difference does it make?! Cera just KILLED her!!
Cera neglects to make a cover but instead, gets to her feet with a sadistic grin on her face. She grabs Rayne by the hair on her head and DRAGS HER ACROSS THE CANVAS! With the ref shouting at her to release the hold... but Cera ignores it and then forces RDO to her feet. She delivers a powerful European Uppercut to Draven-Omega as this causes her to spill through the ropes onto the arena floor. Cera slithers her way through the ropes and continues her pursuit of Rayne as the fans shower her with boos.
Ruby Parvati: Pulling hair? Really, Cera? She kicks like a freaking horse... has arguably the most feared striking power in the business and she's resorting to dirty tactics like that?! I don't get it, Axel...
Axel Reid: Maybe she's trying to send a message to Rayne? Trying to show her that this is personal... and for whatever reason, Cera is out to prove that she could care less about sportsmanship! Simply put, she's out to hurt RDO!
Methodically pacing over to Rayne, Cera grabs her by the hair once more, this time bringing her up to her feet without any of the added effect. She then whips RDO hard toward the steel ring steps as both of Rayne's knees collide with the structure, sending her head over heels on the other side a as loud thud echoes throughout the jam packed arena!!!
Axel Reid: She could have shattered both kness! This is a disturbing sight to behold, Ruby!
Ruby Parvati: I'm actually starting to enjoy it... and I never thought I'd say that. Where the hell has this version of Cera been all along?
Axel Reid: There is nothing enjoyable about watching someone endure this much pain! The match isn't even five minutes old yet and Cera has already inflicted a great deal of damage to her opponent! If things keep up at this rate...
Ruby Parvati: This one will be over before it ever truly begins!
Before Rayne has any time to recover, Cera struts over to her and grabs hold of her bandaged up right hand, while staring at the steel ring steps intently... Suddenly, a sadistic grin forms on her face.
Axel Reid: Don't tell me...
Ruby Parvati: This is going to get ugly.
CRACK!!
Axel Reid: I can't believe what we've just seen!
Ruby Parvati: She just slammed Rayne's injured hand down on the top of those steps! This is great!!
The crowd explodes into boos and jeers as Rayne is rolling around, frantically kicking her feet against the ground and clutching her bandaged hand tightly. Cera lets out a brief snicker at her adversary's predicament before rolling back into the ring. She waits patiently in the corner to see if Rayne can get back into the ring in time while the ref glares at her before starting the mandatory ten count.

4...
Axel Reid: That is just uncalled for! She does severe damage to a hand that is already damaged... but then she doesn't even have the decency to help her opponent back into the ring?
5...
Ruby Parvati: I'm not sure I agree with this strategy either. Because not only is she not going for the jugular when she should be... she's also giving Rayne time to recover!
6...
Rayne is up to her feet, though clearly in a great deal of pain.
7...
She reaches up with one hand and pulls herself onto the ring apron...

CERA CONNECTS WITH THE CUT THROAT!!! RDO FALLS BACK OUT ONTO THE ARENA FLOOR!!
Axel Reid: Damn her! That was just wrong! Rayne used everything she had to try and get back into the ring. To try and put the pain from her hand into the back of her head... and in an instant, Cera crushed her hopes and dreams by sending her right back to the arena floor with her variation of a hot shot type maneuver!
Ruby Parvati: She isn't the "Baddest" Bitch for any old reason, you know... Stuff like this is her M.O., Axel!
We see Jen Ryette applaud on one side of the ring as Paxar stares at her downed companion with a look of concern playing on her face. Cera rolls outside the ring and edges toward RDO, when out of nowhere... a half empty bottle of liquor whizzes right by her head, nearly connecting! It shatters on the ground into several pieces as Cera glares at the sea of fans who are now in the process of crucifying her with their booing. She then turns her focus to the broken glass nearby and clearly mouths the words "Oh... this'll work." She then bends down and picks up the largest shard of glass.
Ruby Parvati: What the heck is she doing now?!
Axel Reid: Folks, if you have children who are watching this... and you're against them seeing gore or bloodshed, I suggest you send them to bed. This is about to get bloody!
Cera looks at Rayne for a moment, before fixating her eyes on the crucifix she had drawn onto her left arm prior to the match. Without warning, she slides the glass shard across her flesh as it pierces her skin and rips it's way across the drawn on cross, causing blood to pour out from the wound and slowly run down her arm! Just as RDO is looking up at her in disbelief..
Axel Reid: Rayne's expression says it all! Why would Cera inflict harm to her own body?!
Ruby Parvati: I think it's a little deeper than just her flesh, Axel.. She cut right across that crucifix that was drawn on her arm! Cera knows what it means... and judging by the wide eyed look on Rayne's face, she knows too!
Cera then grabs Rayne by the hair again, bringing her back to a vertical base before rolling her underneath the ropes. She gets in as well, which forces the official to stop the ten count. Rayne gets to her knees and attempts to stand before Cera locks her in a Half Nelson! She then drills the point of her knee flush into the ribs of RDO, over and over! After several thunderous shots, Cera releases her grip as Rayne collapses on the mat, now holding her ribs with her left hand. However, this also leaves her right hand exposed and vulnerable as Cera takes a couple of steps forward... then STOMPS on Rayne's bandaged hand!!
Axel Reid: The woman can barely stand and Cera continues to go after that big bullseye on her right hand! This is starting to make me sick to my stomach, Ruby!!
Ruby Parvati: Wrestling 101, Axel... you always take what the opposition gives you. It may not always be the most ethical approach, as we're seeing now... but it damn sure is effective!
The Baddest Bitch brings Rayne to her feet and goes for a whip into the corner, but it's reversed by RDO as Cera is sent reeling hard into the turnbuckles! Before she can do much of anything else, Rayne is right on top of her, peppering her sternum with one left hand chop after another! The crowd shouting "woo!!" after each one to pay homage to the legendary figure that made the move iconic! After a good four of five more... and being forced away by the official a second time, Rayne darts to the opposite end of the ring.. but then charges back at Cera and leaps up... KNEEING HER RIGHT IN THE JAWLINE! She then wraps her bandaged hand around the throat of Cera and pulls her out of the corner, running forward and connecting with a BULLDOG!!
Axel Reid: There you go!
Ruby Parvati: She just gave Cera a pretty rough makeover, Axel...
Axel Reid: It appears as though Rayne's second wind has come to the forefront!! And now Cera is left to weather the storm!
Draven-Omega makes a quick cover as the ref slaps the mat!

2 . . .
CERA KICKS OUT!!
Axel Reid: She nearly had her with that combination!
Ruby Parvati: Still far too early.. or then again, maybe it isn't? There's an old saying... That in Wrestling, you often exert more energy going on the offensive than you do on the defensive, Axel!
Axel Reid: That may be the case, but I still can't help but wonder how much that bandaged hand of hers will come into play as we begin to reach the later stages of this match!
RDO peels Cera off the mat and whips her into the ropes. She goes for a clothesline, but it's ducked by Cera who appears to be acting more on instinct than anything else in her current state. She charges back and manages to duck underneath a spinning reverse kick by Rayne, who lands on her feet and hits the ropes now... Cera zips back into the center of the ring and lowers her head, preparing to back body drop her opponent... But Draven-Omega stops just before and tucks Cera's head underneath her right arm, now holding her in a headlock type position! She runs to the side and leaps up, pushing off the nearby official for extra momentum and swings around before driving Cera's head into the mat with a HUGE DDT!!!
Axel Reid: That was a spectacular DDT!
Ruby Parvati: Only because she kicked the referee to put more 'oomph' behind it.. and she'd better be careful! Getting physical with the stripe shirt can usually result in a disqualification!
Axel Reid: But it's okay for Cera to use steel ring steps as a weapon.. or repeatedly grab Rayne's hair... and drag her across the ring by it? I highly doubt being disqualified is something RDO cares about right now!!
The move itself causes quite a bit of damage to Rayne's hand, because of how she landed as both women are down and don't seem to be getting up anytime soon! The official manages to regain his composure after being sent reeling backwards from that push kick by RDO as he looks at both competitors before starting his standing ten count!

Cera appears to be out cold while Rayne has rolled over onto her stomach and is tightly gripping her hand while clenching her jaw.
4...
5...
6...
Cera now rolls over onto her abdomen as she tries to get to her hands and knees, but falls back down!
7...
The fans in attendance begin to make as much noise as possible, hoping Rayne will have a surge of adrenaline. Or at least enough to get up before the count reaches ten!
8...
Axel Reid: This could very well end in a draw right now!!
9...
...?
BOTH COMBATANTS ARE UP JUST BEFORE TEN!!
Ruby Parvati: It isn't over yet!!
Cera makes the first move as she tries to floor Rayne with a clothesline, but Draven-Omega ducks under it! Cera whirls back around... ONLY TO BE SPEARED TO HELL BY RAYNE!!
Axel Reid: The Bitter End! That Spear made popular by former NWA Superstar Jason Myers!!
Rayne drapes an arm over the chest of Cera as the ref makes the count!
1 . . .
2 . . .
3 . . ?
CERA BARELY KICKS OUT!!!
Axel Reid: I thought we had a winner there! Rayne was literally one tenth of a second away from victory with that high impact Spear!!
Ruby Parvati: That maybe, but if it wasn't enough to put Cera down, she'd better step it up a notch!
Axel Reid: I don't think that's something we need to tell Rayne... Look!!
Pointing it out, we notice that Draven-Omega has made her way onto the ring apron as she paces to the corner. She begins to scale the ropes and now waits for Cera to get to her feet, perched on the top turnbuckle. Cera gets up at a snail's pace and dizzily turns right toward an oncoming Rayne, who has leaped off the top rope! She sticks her arm out in mid air, attempting a clothesline!...
CERA CONNECTS WITH INTO THE FIRE OUT OF NOWHERE!!
Axel Reid: What a counter by Cera! Even in a daze, she saw Rayne coming and she planted her with that double knee jawbreaker!!!
Ruby Parvati: There is no mistaking it, Axel... Rayne's jaw has to be broken after that move! Hope she enjoys eating her meals from a straw for the next few months, because that's now become her reality!
Cera makes a lateral press as the ref hits his knees.
1 . . .
2 . . .
3 . . .
? ? ?
NO! RAYNE KICKS OUT! RAYNE KICKS OUT!!
Ruby Parvati: What the hell?!
Axel Reid: Somehow, someway! RDO found a way to get a shoulder up! And look at Cera's facial expression! She is in disbelief!!
Cera rolls over onto her back and just lies there, attempting to regain her wind as Rayne is now the one who is out on dream street. Just like before, the official begins a standing ten count!

Cera gets off her back and is now on her knees with her head lowered. Meanwhile, Rayne has barely started to stir herself.
Axel Reid: You have to wonder if Cera has enough left in the tank to put Rayne down for the count, Ruby! She's really taken the fight to RDO but hasn't managed to capitalize with the three count yet! Meanwhile, RDO has been against the ropes for most of this match but in the later phases, she did has that burst of adrenaline... However, she couldn't put Cera away either!
Ruby Parvati: So we have to wonder if Rayne can muster up enough strength to beat Cera as well! This has really come down to the wire, Axel!

7...
Cera is up while Rayne is on her knees!
The Baddest Bitch brings RDO to her feet, but Rayne strikes quickly with a punch to the gut of Cera, causing her to loosen her grip and hunch forward! Rayne then connects with a forearm shot right to the head of Cera as she has her wobbling! She then hammers the chest of Cera with a Knife Edge Chop...
WHEN OUT OF NOWHERE CERA KICKS THE INSIDES OF RAYNE'S LEGS, LEFT THEN RIGHT!
Axel Reid: That's the prelude to the Scorpion Kick! Nobody gets up from that!
Cera then begins to go through the motions of her lethal finishing maneuver... However, Rayne senses it coming and begins to raise both of her arms in an attempt to block to kick!
BUT SHE SUDDENLY GETS A JOLT OF PAIN IN HER RIGHT HAND! Which only allows her to raise her left...
THE SCORPION KICK CONNECTS!!!
Ruby Parvati: Scorpion Kick! Right in the middle of the ring!!
An exhausted Cera falls on top of Rayne as the ref slaps the mat!
1 . . .
2 . . .
Paxar slaps the canvas, hoping to wake Rayne from her slumber!
3 . . . ?
DING! DING! DING!!
Ruby Parvati: Woohoo! I hate Cera, but still... Woohoo!
Axel Reid: Rayne could have potentially blocked the one strike in the wrestling world that nobody ever has! But her hand was hurting just a bit too much and that allowed Xtreme Speed to have it's full effect!
Jerry Heisenberg: Ladies and gentleman... the winner of this match via pinfall... THE BADDEST BITCH!... CERA!!!
"Right Now" By Korn plays over the speaker system as the fans boo loudly and even throw debris into the ring. Paxar immediately gets inside and checks on her friend RDO, who is still out cold while Cera has her hand raised in victory and then falls into the corner... her arm practically covered in her own blood from the self inflicted wound she created earlier on!
Ruby Parvati: You brought up a very good point, Axel. What if she could have blocked that Scorpion Kick?! What would Cera have had to do then to put her away?!
Axel Reid: I honestly don't know how different this outcome would have been, but there is nothing we can take away from RDO... she is one hell of a competitor and tonight, we saw exactly what she was made of as she threw everything but the kitchen sink at her opponent... and if not for her physical ailments, she might have won this thing! But we're about out of time folks! Make sure you tune in next week to catch VOW's second official PPV; Heatstroke! Good night!
The last image we see is in the ring, with Cera glaring at Rayne who has started to come to. She looks up at Cera, glaring right back at her... moment laters, our feed gradually fades to black as a VOW emblem burns into the screen, then vanishes without a trace.
