For all those who write matches in the future, here are our basic guidelines. Please follow them, but also try to have fun while writing!
1: Look at the bios. Seriously! You will literally find every single piece of information you need for the match you're writing (granted they followed our template). THIS INCLUDES... their personalities! If the character is a goofier one, have them seem that way in the match! If they're more serious and methodical, that's how you should portray them. Characters are individualistic and unique... let's make sure that's known. Also, basic moves, wrestling style and even weaknesses/strengths can help you figure out the direction you can take.
2: Match Formatting--
For the beginning of the match- Say what kind of match it is, the stipulation, the wrestler's height, weight, billed from, nickname, NAME!!!
Example) Jerry Heisenberg: The following contest is a weapons match scheduled for one fall! Whoever wins will receive a shot at a giant lollipop! Introducing first, hailing from a random cafe somewhere... standing at 5'8 and weighing in at 120lbs... 'That Boss Ass Bitch', NESSA!!!
-entrance and such-
Jerry Heisenberg: And her opponent, he hails from the darkest, sweatiest sweat shop in all of Australia...standing at 5'1 and weighing in at 60lbs... OWEN!!!
-that person's entrance-
This formatting is a general guideline. Match writers can feel free to state things differently, use different punctuation/grammar, add a manager accompanying the wrassler, and so on, to this as well... the order is what we'd like to remain the same.
For the end of the match- The winner of this match, via pinfall/submission/count-out/DQ/other stip... INSERT NAME HERE!!!
For pinfall attempts and 10-count- normal pinfalls would go by this formatting:
ONE!
TWO!
THREE?
THREE!!!!
DING DING DING!!!
or
ONE!
TWO!
THR-NO!!! KICKOUT!!!
And for the 10-count, it's the same... only single-spacing, with actions in between. And example would be:
1 . . .
2 . . .
3 . . .
Wrassler starts to stir...
4 . . .
5 . . .
Axel Reid: Is this it for the wrassler?!
6 . . .
Wrassler gets up and hops into ring!!
Again, formatting doesn't have to be EXACT, but generally... please try to follow them (if they make any sense >.<)
3: Our shows do have minor censorship. Nudity is blurred out, and certain swear words are disallowed-- these include fuck, shit, c*nt, n***er, and goddamn (for the god part). If you want to have these words, "bleep" them out (Ex: F-bleep!- you guys!). Words like bitch, ass, damn, and so on are not censored... but let's try not to use any of them TOO excessively.
