Elskerinne vs. Winter Pine
YAH HAHAHAHA HA HAHAHAHAHA HA!!!
Ruby jumps out of her skin once again as the sound of hysterical laughter fills the arena, startling everyone else in attendance as well.
Ruby Parvati: EVERY TIME! I HATE THAT!
Suddenly “Emperor's New Clothes” by PANIC! At The Disco hits the speakers! The fans aren't sure whether to cheer or boo as three shadows appear at the entrance. The first verse makes it's grand appearance and with the help of a blue-tinted spotlight so do those at the top of the ramp.
FINDERS KEEPERS, LOSERS WEEPERS!
One figure is an attractive, dark haired woman donning black skinny jeans and an even blacker jacket. She flips her hair out of her face and mouths 'back to life' as our view trails to the other woman, smaller and blonder, with a stoic look about her. She puts a finger to her lips when the camera focuses in on her and the song says 'watch me die', as we then slowly trail back over to the center and hear: 'you just might see a ghost tonight!'
Jerry Heisenberg: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! First to the ring, standing at 5’9” and weighing in at 145lbs… currently residing in St. Paul, Minnesota by way of Moca, Puerto Rico… “THE ONE AND ONLY” ELSKERINNE!!!
The light brightens to reveal between the women... a blonde mannequin! Her make-up is on point, hair styled perfectly, and she dons wrestling gear and ridiculous 'tattoos' of animals, pop culture references, and iconic horror images. Smoke suddenly billows upward around the plastic doll, and it disperses just as quickly to reveal the one and only, Elskerinne! Donning dark blue wrestling garb, her hair is done up in a tight, sloppy grecian braid, and there is a large crescent-shaped streak of black and purple glitter smeared across the left side of her face. Elskerinne places a finger to the glitter, trailing it down her cheek to the side of her mouth as she gazes out toward the crowd with that signature grin, making her way to the ring along with her companions.
Axel Reid: Since her debut, Elskerinne has defeated both Owen Gonsalves and Matthew Robinson, two highly-experienced wrestlers with plenty of accomplishments between them. Tonight, Elskerinne will take on Winter Pine, a match that I’m sure Casanova English will be watching closely.
Ruby Parvati: She’s getting in way too over her head, Axel. Does she honestly think she can beat Cassie?
Axel Reid: She believes she can, and the two victories she has garnered thus far are nothing to scoff at.
Ruby Parvati: Of course not… but eventually, she’s going to know her place in this company.
Elskerinne reaches the ring, with Thea and JB occupying the ringside area. Elskerinne smiles wide as she looks around at the crowd, spreading her arms and twirling confidently.
Axel Reid: If Elskerinne can defeat Winter tonight, she would have beaten two-thirds of the Orphanage by herself.
Ruby Parvati: And if she doesn’t, she’ll be known as a flash in the pan.
An immediate loud screech blares through the audio system, causing several people in the audience to cover their ears until the screeching stops, at which time the arena goes pitch black.
Ruby Parvati: WHAT IS WITH THE LOUD SCREAMING AND LAUGHING?!
After a few moments, a female's voice can be heard speaking softly in a poetic tune.
Sleep now, young souls, for The Wolf is here.
To bring a message that might strike fear.
The truth can hurt, but it must be heard.
Erie, Pennsylvania, thou shalt heed my words.
The crowd begins to boo immensely as the female's speaking is replaced by an ungodly howl unleashed through the darkness followed by the eerie sounds of "Big Bad Wolf" by In This Moment oozing out of the speakers, the lights now at a dim red as the words of Maria Brink creep out, louder and louder.
"Even in these chains you can't stop me..."
"Even in these chains you can't stop me!"
"Even in these chains you can't stop me!!!"
The crowd slowly dissolves into increasing boos, but as they do the music actually stops and darkness fills the arena once more. Then, on the stage, a red light appears in the center and sitting there is Winter Pine, her head lowered with that very real looking wolf head garment draped over it.
"EVEN IN THESE CHAINS YOU CAN'T STOP ME!!!!"
The lights flash wildly as the song returns and immediately kicks up, the arena coming to life. Winter Pine lifts her head and rises to her feet, smirking as she makes her way forward towards the ring.
Jerry Heisenberg: And her opponent, standing at 5’10” and weighing in at 158lbs… hailing from St. Paul, Minnesota… “THE BLACK WOLF” WINTER PINE!!!
Axel Reid: I’m sure that smirk on Winter’s face is concealing how she really feels right now, given what Stacy Jones did to her in Syracuse after she defeated Katie Moicelle.
Ruby Parvati: Stacy should have stayed home. She wanted to get her revenge, but she’s only made things worse. Winter is going to show Stacy what is in store for her at Nothing Else Matters by using Elskerinne as an example.
As Pine makes it to ringside, she takes in the boos for a moment before sliding under the ropes and into the ring, a sadistic smile placed on her face as she rises back to her feet. As the music fades away and the sounds of the booing crowd fully take over, Winter smirks as she leans against the ropes in front of her, looking around at the audience before she turns her attention to Elskerinne.
Ruby Parvati: Let’s see how Elskerinne copes against this wolf. She got lucky against Robinson, but I think her luck is about to run out. Winter is in no mood for games right now.
Axel Reid: But Elskerinne must know that. If she can frustrate Winter enough, Winter is going to snap and make more mistakes.
Ruby Parvati: Stop giving her ideas!
Axel Reid: She can’t hear what I’m saying from here… not with how vocal this crowd is right now.
The fans heavily boo Winter as she watches Elsky get searched by the referee, an official who is aware that last time she hid a spork on her person. Elskerinne keeps her smile as the referee pats her down, checking her legs and moving down to her bare feet. He doesn’t touch her feet though, instead nodding his head and going over to Winter.
Axel Reid: So Elskerinne doesn’t have any objects on her this time around. I wonder what happened to that spork?
Ruby Parvati: Wherever it is, it won’t save her from the beating she’s about to receive in a few moments.
Once the referee finishes searching Winter with the same result, he signals for the bell to be rung.
DING DING DING!
Ruby Parvati: And let the bloodshed begin!
Axel Reid: Just like at Nothing Else Matters, huh?
Ruby Parvati: That will be much worse.
The smirk that Winter exhibits now drops, becoming a sinister snarl as Elskerinne continues to smile. Winter advances towards her opponent, but E ducks and weaves, moving constantly as Winter keeps her in her sights. Eventually, Winter throws out a kick, but Elsky jumps out of the way and follows it up with a cartwheel. Annoyed by this, Winter works Elskerinne towards the corner, but her plan goes awry when Elskerinne, realizing where she is, jumps onto the middle rope and leaps over Winter’s charging body to the center of the ring.
Axel Reid: Good luck trying to keep her grounded. She’s like a rabbit in that ring.
Ruby Parvati: Wolves prey on rabbits, Axel, so your comparison fits rather nicely.
After sticking her tongue out at Winter, Elskerinne causes her foe to lose her cool and rush forward. As Winter does just that, E performs a leap-frog over her, forcing Winter to spin around in frustration. That’s when Elskerinne jumps up and connects with a Bicycle Kick, taking Winter down to cheers from the crowd before she poses and, shortly thereafter, drives her elbows onto Winter with an Axe Handle Elbow Drop!
Axel Reid: Elskerinne led Winter into that trap, and the wolf is no longer on the prowl for meat!
Ruby Parvati: Damn rabbit…
Winter forces herself up before Elskerinne can go for a pinfall, with The Black Wolf throwing out a furious punch. E quickly blocks the punch and uses Winter’s own arm against her, wrapping it around her neck in a cobra clutch before she steps around Winter and delivers a Cobra Clutch Legsweep! Rolling backwards, E springs to her feet from her knees and dances, which seems to become a precursor of her next move as she suddenly freezes, raises her arm to the sky with her head bowed, and then falls towards Winter whilst she moves her arm down, connecting with a theatrical Fist Drop to the face!
Axel Reid: That fist hit Winter right in the nose, and somewhere Stacy is laughing hysterically right now!
Ruby Parvati: Oh I’m sure she is! But she won’t be laughing when that protected nose is exposed and ripped off her face!
Elskerinne keeps Winter down with another Axe Handle, covering her for the first pinfall of the match…
ONE!
TWO!
Winter kicks out strongly, which makes E roll away and gain some distance from her aggressive foe. Winter gets up on her own accord, with Elskerinne baiting her into attacking again. Winter goes for a punch, and E smartly dodges… but this time Winter spins around and catches Elsky with a Backfist! The shot staggers Elskerinne, giving the Black Wolf ample time to short arm her and pull her into a hard Elbow Smash!
Ruby Parvati: And now the wolf has caught its prey! Where’s the popcorn?
Administering another elbow smash, Winter drops Elskerinne to the canvas. Afterwards, she runs to the ropes and builds speed, sliding across the ground towards E and slamming her arm into her opponent’s face with a Forearm Smash! As with her previous matches, Elskerinne’s smile does not change, but this does not disturb Winter, who covers E with a leg hooked…
ONE!
TWO!
Elskerinne gets her shoulder up!
Axel Reid: As we’ve seen, Elskerinne is a woman that does not go down easily. And as we’ve also seen, that smile of hers just does not go away.
Ruby Parvati: It creeps me out. She’s getting her ass kicked, but she still looks happy!
Once Winter stands, she attempts a different approach to ensure she can keep Elskerinne down. She grabs E by her leg and lifts it up, taking a hold of her bare foot in the process. Suddenly, Elskerinne lets out a deafening scream and freaks out, thrashing her other leg out and slamming her shin straight into Winter’s knee! The Black Wolf lets go of E and feels her knee, allowing Elskerinne to scurry away and regroup, her smile now semi-depleted.
Ruby Parvati: It appears she doesn’t like her feet being touched.
Axel Reid: That’s the impression I got too. In fact she looks like she hates it!
As if a switch has been flipped inside her, Elskerinne rushes at Winter and takes her down with a Lou Thesz Press! She follows this up with repeated punches to her face, a sight that the crowd cheer immensely at in unison!
Axel Reid: Yeah, she DEFINITELY does not like her feet being touched!
Ruby Parvati: Why doesn’t she wear boots then?! Even running shoes will do!
Winter, having taken several punches at this point, finally finds an opening and thrusts her hand up into Elskerinne’s throat! E feels her neck, which stops her punching completely, and this prompts Winter to make what seems to be an irrational decision. She grabs Elskerinne’s head and pulls it towards her, biting Elsky’s ear and causing her foe to scream loudly again!
Axel Reid: Winter is tearing at Elskerinne’s ear with her teeth!
Ruby Parvati: Well think about it! She slapped Robinson’s ears when she faced him, and apparently she damaged his ear drum! This is payback for that!
Winter then headbutts Elskerinne off her, wasting little time in going after her foot again. This time, Winter prevents Elskerinne from lashing out as she stands on her other leg, bringing the leg she does hold above her head and squatting down into a Stretch Muffler!
Ruby Parvati: Now this is a smart move! Winter is wearing down Elskerinne’s legs to stop that freak from running around and being a nuisance!
Axel Reid: And we know how quick Elskerinne can be. This is the equivalent of a wolf biting at an animal’s legs when giving chase to bring them down.
Winter stretches Elskerinne’s neck as much as possible… but she also has the audacity to grab her opponent’s exposed foot and bend her toes backward! E’s long-lasting smile twists into a contorted expression of pain and irritation, doing whatever she can to reach the ropes and escape this predicament.
Ruby Parvati: And this is why all athletes should wear shoes. She brought this on herself by making that weakness known… and being weird at the same time!
Axel Reid: Winter could break her toes while she has her in this hold, and that will seriously jeopardize her current run in this company.
Ruby Parvati: This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed at home…
Elskerinne frantically scrambles on the canvas, eventually reaching her destination and grabbing the rope securely! However, Winter sharply pulls Elskerinne back, and due to the condition of her nerves in her hands, she loses her grip on the rope, allowing Winter to fold Elsky’s legs over into a Calf Slicer!
Axel Reid: Elskerinne reached the ropes, but Winter is relentless!
Ruby Parvati: That foot belongs to her now, and there’s nothing Elskerinne can do about it!
Axel Reid: If she reaches the ropes again she can… but look at Winter, bending those toes back yet again!
With Elskerinne’s foot bent towards Winter, the latter takes the opportunity to twist her ankle and bend her toes back again at the same time. E shows great determination in fighting for the ropes, even as she feels agonized and uncomfortable. After several moments, she once again reaches the ropes and holds on, with the referee stepping in and warning Winter off. But before she lets go, Winter leans towards the foot and bites it for good measure!
Ruby Parvati: Good luck standing on that foot now, Elske-freak!
Aware of Elskerinne’s debilitated leg, Winter calmly stands up and smirks. Elskerinne, meanwhile, feels her foot before she valiantly starts to stand, doing so as Winter backs away with evil intentions. Hobbling on one foot, Elskerinne musters a smile of defiance, appearing to show positivity in the face of danger. Taking this as an insult, Winter rushes at Elsky for a Lou Thesz Press of her own… but her painted foe rolls under her jump. Winter lands on her knees and looks disgruntled, eyeing Elskerinne as the latter struggles to properly stand.
Axel Reid: This is the first time Elskerinne has been unable to move around quickly, and with someone like Winter opposing her, that is a bad situation to be in.
Snarling, Winter rushes towards Elskerinne again… until E blasts Winter in the face with a Spinning Back Elbow! Hopping on her good foot, Elskerinne shows incredible balance as she delivers two more spinning elbows in a row, stunning Winter enough to rest and, with a wince, spin around one final time with a Discus Punch! The connection is hard, and Winter collapses to the canvas, taking the full force of the blow from Elskerinne’s solid fist!
Axel Reid: But I may have spoken too soon!
Ruby Parvati: You should keep your mouth shut!
Thea encourages Elskerinne as JB remains silent, watching their friend cover Winter…
ONE!
TWO!
TH-NO! Winter manages to survive just in time!
Pouting, Elskerinne tends to her leg again before she grimaces and begins to stand up again. Winter, feeling her jaw, forces herself back up again as well. The two women collide shortly thereafter, with Elskerinne hitting a forearm. However, Winter absorbs the blow and backfists Elskerinne, setting her up for a Small Package Driver which she calls Winter’s Whiteout!
Ruby Parvati: Right on the head! That’s got to do it!
Winter hooks Elskerinne leg as the referee makes the count!
ONE!
TWO!
THR--NO! ELSKERINNE KICKS OUT!
Axel Reid: But it isn’t to be! Winter’s Whiteout was not enough to end this match!
Winter pulls at her hair in frustration, seething as she stares at Thea and JB. Summoning her aggression, Winter pulls Elskerinne up and grabs her leg, lifting her for a Shin Breaker. But before Winter can weaken the leg further, E slaps Winter across the face!
Axel Reid: That slap reverberated around this arena!
Ruby Parvati: Her poor face!
The hardness of the slap staggers Winter back, and Elskerinne is forced to land on her knees instead of her bare feet. Remaining strong, Elsky gets to a vertical base and hobbles towards Winter, spinning around with a second Discus Punch! Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem to get the same power as before, but Winter still stumbles backwards.
Axel Reid: Winter remains stood… and this could be bad!
Using her backwards momentum, Winter presses against the ropes and bounces forward from them. With anger in her eyes, she rushes at Elskerinne for a lariat… but the painted enigma ducks under it, grabs Winter’s body at the same time and, with a leg sweep, drives Winter down onto the back of her head with the END OF ERAS!
Axel Reid: The End of Eras! She turned Winter’s lariat into the End of Eras!
With Winter folded up like an accordion on her neck and shoulders, Elskerinne presses her weight down as the referee counts!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!!!
DING DING DING!!!
Axel Reid: Elskerinne gets her third straight victory, and she has not only taken down Winter Pine, she has taken down two-thirds of the Orphanage by herself!
Ruby Parvati: I can’t take this anymore! This is ridiculous!
“Emperor's New Clothes” by PANIC! At The Disco plays again as Elskerinne smiles wide, getting her arm raised by the referee as a clarification of her win. Thea jumps up and down in celebration on the outside, clapping Elskerinne’s third victory as JB nods approvingly. Meanwhile Winter rolls outside the ring, dealing with her loss bitterly as she feels her neck and staggers to the entrance in a hunched posture.
Jerry Heisenberg: Here is your winner... ELSKERINNE!!!
Ruby Parvati: Elskerinne may have won, but she has really set off Winter Pine now. The fans should blame Elskerinne for what’s about to happen to Stacy Jones, because she just set her decimation into motion.
Axel Reid: Stacy Jones knows what to expect at Nothing Else Matters, Ruby. But the story here is that Elskerinne may have just danced her way into the path of Casanova English with that victory.
Ruby Parvati: And as I said before, that’s when reality will hit her in the face.
Elskerinne is now celebrating amongst her friends, still hobbling on one foot as Thea keeps her upright. JB offers a slow clap as she stands in elegant white, but what everyone concentrates on is Elskerinne’s smile and her eyes. Her smile is infectious and wide, but her eyes are captivating, emitting a fire that is surely burning within her at this very moment. Soon enough the scene changes from her face, her paint having been smeared across her cheeks and coating the ambitious opportunity she has rightfully earned.
