Tristan Ambrose Vs Valquist
We cut back to ringside to hear DMX's version of "Ain't No Sunshine" echo throughout the arena, as Tristan Ambrose makes his way down to the ring, flanked by his manager Alexander Cappotelli.
Jerry Heisenberg: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, standing in at 5 feet and 11 inches, weighing in at 205 pounds. He hails from Seattle, Washington...TRRIIIISSSTAAANN AMMMMBRRROOOSSEEE!
Ambrose hops in the ring and immediately sets his sights on the stage for his opponent's entrance. "Last Of Our Kind" by Alter Bridge blasts throughout the arena as Valquist makes his methodical entrance, taking his time to soak up the reaction while not taking his eyes off the ring.
Jerry Heisenberg: And his opponent, standing in at 6 feet and 2 inches, weighing in at 235 pounds. He hails from Infinity City..."The Valiant"...VAAAAAALLLLQUIIIISSSST!
Valquist enters the ring slowly and removes his ring gear, just as he turns around he's jumped by Ambrose who starts pounding away on him in the corner before applying a clinch and firing knees right into his chest and face.
DING! DING! DING!
Ambrose sends him off to the ropes into the ropes, Val leap frogs over him before holding his ground and nailing Ambrose with a dropkick, causing Tristan to roll out of the ring to reassess the situation. Valquist hunts after him though and for a moment there's a chase as Tristan tries to make some space, he slides back in the ring and hits the ropes but Valquist is too focused, turning Ambrose inside out with a clothesline before going for a cover that only gets a two count.
Valquist immediately realises he's got Ambrose where he can finish him, and pulls him to his feet going for his patneted Sleeper Hold called Sanctuary but Ambrose slides out from the grip and backwards through Val's legs before pulling those legs out from underneath him so the former World Visionary Champion falls forward on his face. Ambrose jumps on top of him with a grounded headlock to slow the pace down. The crowd is heavily on The Valiant One's side as they clap in unison in an effort to get Valquist to turn the tide yet again, the adrenalin gets rolling again as Valquist pushes himself and Tristan up to their feet and starts delivering winding elbows into the sternum of Ambrose before hoisting him up and dropping him down on his shoulders with a huge Back Suplex! Valquist quickly transitions into an Arm Triangle on the ground, holding Tristan in the submission as Ambrose flails around before making it to the ropes!
The Valiant One pulls Tristan off the ropes and goes for an elbow drop but Ambrose is quick to roll out of the way as Val writhes in agony, clutching his elbow. Ambrose immediately targets the right arm now, stomping on the injured elbow before holding it down and dropping his knee across the tricep! He pulls Val to his feet and delivers a series of forearms but the former World Champion fights back with forearms of his own, he goes for a big clothesline but Ambrose kicks his arm away before nailing him in the chest with a hard headbutt! Valquist tries to reply with another swing but this time Ambrose catches the arm, slips it through Val's own legs and drops him across his knee with a Pumphandle Neckbreaker! He goes for a cover...AND VALQUIST BARELY KICKS OUT!
Tristan immediately picks Valquist up and goes for The Last Word, hooking the arm of a groggy Valquist, he hoists him upside down but Valquist escapes and lands on his feet before spinning Ambrose around and nailing him with a corkscrew Pele Kick! WHIRLWIND RIGHT TO THE SKULL! Ambrose is out on his feet! Val delivers a knee to his stomach before hitting the ropes and connects with an ENLIGHTENMENT KNEE! He goes for a cover and gets the 3 count!
DING! DING! DING!
Jerry Heisenberg: Your winner via pinfall...VAAALLLQQUIIIST!
Axel Reid: What a match that was, Tristan had Valquist in trouble with that injured arm but Valquist pulled out every big move he could hit in order to put away the young vetern in Tristan Ambrose!
Ruby Parvati: Tristan had Valquist where he wanted him! He got hit in the head twice! TWICE! He could have a bad concussion, this is horrible! He's such a lovely person, he's been looking out for members of the roster and this is how he's treated!
Tristan is barely coming to as Valquist celebrates his PPV win before making his way to the back, Cappotelli is visbily upset but is more worried about the health of his client who took a severe amount of punishment in order to be put away.
