JULY 6TH, 2015
OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA
STEVE YZERMEN ARENA
Lying flat on the ring canvas looking up at the bright lights. Feeling the heat from said lights and feeling his body be drenched in sweat from competing in his first match with Visionaries of Wrestling. Just laid there looking up at said bright lights as he could hear someone speaking out loud.
“The winner, via pinfall, and moving on to the Quest for the Case match at Heatstroke. . . SOPHIA HALTER!”
Zakk had prepared for his debut. In fact he had prepared for this entire moment for most of his career. He wanted to be part of a big wrestling company and he wanted to put his talents on display. Then the moment that he finally had the chance to do so. The moment that he was presented with one hell of an opportunity and one hell of a chance. It doesn’t go the way he wants. He goes and gets defeated by someone - who if he was to be brutally honest was in no way, shape, or form better than him regardless of what the match result was.
That being said Zakk had finally managed to push himself to his feet. He looked around for a second realizing that Sophia had left the ring. He could see the expression on some of the fans faces. It appeared that some of them were pleased that he lost. He could make that assumption based on those that were laughing and pointing at him. Then there was some fans that seemed to have some concern and seemed to have been disappointed that he had lost. That much could be tell by the sadden and somber expression on some of their faces.
Kind of what he expected for a crowd to be torn on him. Though, as torn as they were on his loss. Zakk wasn’t torn. He was downright disappointed and even angry that he had lost. He had the perfect opportunity and it got pissed away. He let someone who wasn’t actually better than him pin his shoulders to the mat. All of the sudden the official in charge of the match stepped up next to Zakk whispering to him so no one but the Heartthrob could hear him.
“You alright, kid? Do you need help out of the ring?”
For a moment Zakk just found himself looking at the referee in a blank manner. Blinking his eyes a few times. All he could do was think to himself. Did I get beat that badly? Do I look that pathetic right now? He started to shake his head a little bit. Glaring daggers with his eyes straight through the referee.
“Get away from me. I’m fine.”
That being said Zakk pushed himself up off the mat and stumbled forward for a second. He used the ropes to catch himself, as he leaned against them looking around the arena a bit. The disappointment was starting to settle in a little bit more. Zakk couldn’t bare to be out there anymore. Pushing himself to a vertical basis only for a brief moment. He dropped down to his back and then rolled right on out of the ring only to get back to his feet. He ran his hands through his sweat soaked blonde hair and then looked towards the ramp.
This was the Walk of Shame.
And boy did it look like a long walk. Zakk did what he had to do though. He began to make his way up the ramp not looking at any of the fans. He caught out of the corners of his eyes. That some were reaching over the barricade - wanting a high five or something to that degree. In his opinion there was no reason to give a high five or give them proper acknowledgement. That was taking his “status” as a known bad guy out of the equation. He truly believed with him falling flat on his face. There was no need for praise of any kind.
As soon as Zakk reached the top of the ramp. He grabbed the curtain and pulled it to the side forcing himself into the gorilla position. Standing there waiting to greet him with match agents and a few more higher up important people. Zakk likely didn’t do himself any favors, because he didn’t bother to acknowledge them. Didn’t reach out to shake hands. Didn’t bother to say thank you. Nothing like that. He just continued to push himself past them and made his way to the actual backstage area. Zakk was on a mission to get to the locker room area as quickly as he could. Quicker he did that, the quicker he could get out of the arena.
Seemed like he was in the clear. Though, the moment that Zakk turned the corner where the locker room would be at the end of the hall. He found himself running into someone. Not in the literal sense, but crossing paths. That someone just happened to be VOW’s own interview, Darius Yates. It’s like he knew instantly how this was going to go. Zakk let out a bit of a frustrated sigh, just as Darius began to approach him.
DARIUS YATES: Hey there. . . Zakk? Right? Zakk Morris?
ZAKK MORRIS: ... Yeah ... Yeah, that’s me.
DARIUS YATES: The name’s Darius Yates, pleasure to meet you.
At that moment Mr. Yates extended his fairly large hand in the direction of the Heartthrob. Zakk kind of just looked at his hand for a second or two. Didn’t bother making any movements or show any intentions of shaking the man’s hands. Zakk just put his gaze on Darius to speak to him in a clear voice.
ZAKK MORRIS: Look man... I don’t mean to be rude and I don’t mean to sound like an asshole - that’s legit. But right now I’m not in the mood. I don’t want to shake hands. I don’t want to hold conversation. I just want to get to the locker room, change, and get the hell out of Ottawa.
DARIUS YATES: Rough first night eh, kid?
ZAKK MORRIS: Yeah, I guess you could say that.
DARIUS YATES: Well, I won’t be that guy that’s in your face. I won’t be that guy that pesters you when you’re not in the mood to talk, but I will say this much. I wouldn’t take what happened out there to heart. You’re new around here. You’re getting your feet wet. You’re still learning in a sense. You aren’t going to walk in and go on some impressive undefeated streak and you’re not going to come in and dominate right away. Not when there’s so much to still learn.
ZAKK MORRIS: You’re kidding me right?
Mr. Yates kind of looked back at Zakk with a bit of a puzzled look on his expression. Zakk was looking back at him with this glare on his face. He looked more irritated than what he was just a few moments ago.
ZAKK MORRIS: A guy who walks around with a stupid microphone and doesn’t do anything but pester people with dumb ass question is telling me not take a loss to heart. Telling me not to feel discouraged or whatever the fuck. Have you ever stepped into the ring? Have you ever once wrestled a match?!
DARIUS YATES: Well...
ZAKK MORRIS: ... On second thought don’t even answer that. You don’t have the right to tell me how I should feel. You don’t know me and you don’t know what the hell I have been through to even get to this point. It’s straight up bullshit that I lost to Sophia. I’m willing to bet that match was rigged from the start. There’s no way someone of her caliber should of been able to pin me. I might be a “rookie” in some eyes, but my ability is above most people that walk this earth. I should be the one in Quest For Case. This is bullshit. This is straight up bullshit and I don’t care what anyone says!
His temper was starting to get out of control. Obviously Zakk was upset and he was very passionate about how he felt things should of gone throughout the night. At the end of the day though there wasn’t anything he could do about it and that might have been the most frustrating point of all. He had lost and there wasn’t anything he could do to make it right. His explosive nature was starting to cause a bit of a scene. People were starting to look in his direction. Zakk began to take notice to it as he shook his head in pure frustration.
ZAKK MORRIS: Just get out of my way!
That being said he pushed his way right on past Mr. Yates and continued his way down the hall in a hurried manner. Upon reaching the door of the locker room. He pushed it open, walking inside, and then quickly slammed the door shut behind him. It hit with a loud thud which likely echoed down the hall were everyone had been standing. Not that any of that made much of a difference to him. Zakk pressed his frame against the door and just leaned there. This night had gone horrible and he wasn’t sure if after hitting rock bottom on night one it could get any worse. However at that moment he was making a promise to himself. That it wouldn’t. This was a lesson learned and now somehow someway Zakk was going to turn things around. VoW was going to be put on notice in a big way.

The Girlfriend Father’s House
After what had happened in Zakk’s debut. He wanted to get out of dodge and wanted to regroup that way he could come back a little stronger. Of course now more than ever considering he found out that he would be in a match at Heatstroke - it was a pre show match - and something that irritated him. However that was a different story for a different time. Today, though Zakk had to put all that in the back of his mind and focus on something that was a little more important. That being a BBQ being hosted by his girlfriend’s father. Thing was her father didn’t exactly have any idea that they were dating yet.
The background story between Zakk and Britain was a complicated one. To sum it up they were best friends in high school and recently pushed their relationship to a different level. Zakk happened to be letting himself in the fence that lead to the backyard where everyone happened to be sitting. He turned to lock up the fence behind him. However when he turned around he saw a full on sprinting Britain charging in his direction. She screamed out his name in pure excitement.
BRITAIN JADE: Zakk!
Leaping into the air, Britain put her arms around his neck and squeezed with seemingly all her might. Zakk couldn’t help but let out a brief little chuckle. His arms wrapping around her waist a bit to give a squeeze of his own.
ZAKK MORRIS: Nice to see you too.
Another chuckle escape his lips, with Britain unwrapping her arms from around his neck to look at him with a bright smile.
BRITAIN JADE: How was the ride over?
ZAKK MORRIS: Great, you know how I do things. Listen to some Backstreet Boys, yell obscenities as stupid drivers, and speed way more than I sure. The usual.
BRITAIN JADE: Wouldn’t be you if you didn’t do all three of those things in the car at least once.
ZAKK MORRIS: Like you’d want it any other way.
That being said Brit grabbed a hold of his hand, interlocking their fingers together and started to slowly walk along with him towards the backyard. Not being too quick, as she turned back to him.
BRITAIN JADE: You still need to talk?
ZAKK MORRIS: Hm?
BRITAIN JADE: When you were texting me earlier, you said something frustrated you and you wanted to talk.
ZAKK MORRIS: Oh yeah, right. It’s just shit with VoW. They have gone and put me in a Pre Show Match. I don’t know what it is, but I feel like it’s just a complete and utter slap in the face.
BRITAIN JADE: Are you sure that you’re happy being there Zakk? I mean you were all excited about signing a contract a few weeks ago and since you put your name to the dotted line. You haven’t had a whole lot of pleasant things to say about your experience.
ZAKK MORRIS: To be honest with you Brit, I am not sure how to answer that question. I mean I was excited to get that big break. I was excited to sign with a major company. I was excited to live out my dream on the big stage. But then the moment that I got that chance. It seems like it’s not everything that I wanted it to be.
BRITAIN JADE: That’s what I’m talking about Zakk. You don’t look nor do you sound happy. This doesn’t sound like the place or the environment that you need to be putting yourself in.
ZAKK MORRIS: Maybe it is and maybe it isn’t. But part of me is wondering if this is all a test. Makes me wonder if they’re trying to push me over the edge and cause me to want to spazz out. Because if that’s the case I can’t let them win. I can’t let them get the best of me. I can’t let them come out on top. I can’t let them get me to cave under the pressure. I’m better than that Brit. You know it. I know it and I’ll make them realize it.
The two of them had managed to reach the end of the little sidewalk that lead to the backyard. Everyone was sitting around the grill having a conversation. Not too much paying attention to Brit and Zakk - not that they had even noticed Zakk’s arrival just yet. Zakk just found himself looking over at Britain.
ZAKK MORRIS: If they want to put me in a pre show match and have a little bit of a laugh at my expense. Then that’s what they are going to do. I can’t change that now, but what I can do is go into that match and take off everyone’s head they put me in the ring with. So they know to never make that mistake again.
BRITAIN JADE: Or you could just find a way out of your contract if you’re that unhappy. That way you don’t put that much stress on yourself. That way you aren’t dealing with all that drama. I truly believe that’s the best option for you.
ZAKK MORRIS: I’m not the type of person to just quit. I’m not the type of person to just give up. Especially if that’s what these people want from me. I’m going to give it one more shot. I’m going to show up at HeatStroke and I’m going to make the most of being put in a pre show match. I’m going to out wrestle every single person they put me against and I’m going to win. It might not be a win that means anything, but it’s going to be a statement sent straight to them to get their act together.
BRITAIN JADE: If that’s what you want to do then I’m going to support you, Zakk. I’m not going to argue or try to work against you with anything. You’re making your own decisions. This is your career. This is what you wanted to do all your life. I just want to know it’s what’s best for you as a caring and supporting girlfriend. That’s all.
ZAKK MORRIS: I appreciate that Brit, I really do. But look this isn’t even what today’s about. Let’s just go join everyone else and in the meantime figure out how the hell we’re going to tell your dad about us.
There was another brief chuckle that escaped Zakk’s lips at that moment. Britain rolled her eyes a little bit and shook her head. Hand in hand the couple made their way over to where everyone else was standing. Zakk began to say his hellos and shake hands with everyone. This was his chance to enjoy life and relax. He could get back to business in a few days. Though judging by his reaction as it was. When Zakk did get back to business, he was going to mean business. VoW was finally going to learn and understand the arrival of Zakk Morris meant something.

Boisbriand, Quebec
Undisclosed Location
Twenty four hours from now VoW’s most talked about pay per view event, Heatstroke would be taking place. Needless to say the fans in Boisbriand, Quebec couldn’t wait for that night to finally come. It was something they had been looking forward to since the event had been announced would be taking place there. No doubt about it the event was going to end up delivering and doing so in a big way considering some of the matches that were set to take place on that night. VoW without a doubt would deliver a hundred and ten percent. Chances were pretty high this was an event that would be remembered for quite sometime.
That being said though there was an official VoW camera crew that had the scene opening up at that second. Nothing seemed to really stand out really. Only thing that was noticeable was what appeared to be someone standing there in a light. This person’s back was actually turned towards the cameras making their face impossible to see. However that only lasted for a moment or two. Because it was at that very second the person turned himself around and as soon as they did. The person revealed themselves to be the Heartthrob, Zakk Morris.
His facial expressions said it all. He didn’t appear to be a happy camper. Not even in the least bit, he kind of just glared at the cameras for a second or two before finally starting to speak out addressing them.
ZAKK MORRIS: Last week I was presented with an opportunity to face Sophia Halter with the winner getting the chance to go to Heatstroke and compete in the Quest for the Case event. Honestly, I spent the entire week last week getting myself prepared. I found myself in the gym the entire week. I found myself promoting the event every chance that I got. I made sure that I had done the proper research on Ms. Halter. That way I knew what I was going up against and that way I knew what I was up against. I went into that match prepared. And what happened? According to the record books I lost.
According to the fans in Ottawa that night I lost. According to everyone in the back, I lost. Sure, Sophia pinned my shoulders to the match and yeah, she’s the one in the Quest for the Case match. But as far as I am concerned Sophia didn’t actually beat me. As far as I’m concerned, there was something fishy that went on in that match. As far as I’m concerned someone conspired against me to make sure that I lost and therefore she doesn’t have a legit victory over me... Along with that, I’m willing to bet you anything in the world. Sophia Halter being involved with Quest For The Case is going to turn out to be a waste. Mark my words, she won’t leave with the victory. Guarantee it!
Each word that escaped Zakk’s mouth at that particular second. Seemed to explain just how upset that he was about the situation that he was in. Though it was like a week later and there was nothing that was going to change the outcome.
ZAKK MORRIS: But because everyone viewed that as me losing. It put me in the position I’m in now. That position being a Fatal Four Way match at Heatstroke. I got tossed in the ring against Patrick Jones, Yeshua, and Keisha Britely... I look at that match and I have two reactions. The first reaction is anger. It straight up pisses me off that I got put in a pre-show match. I would of been better off just not being booked at all. I could of understood that - or at least respected it a little more. No instead, VoW’s powers that be decide to make a mockery out of me and decide to have “pity” on me by just throwing me in a match. It’s like they are throwing a starving person the scraps of a plate or some shit. I’m not someone to be taken pity on. I am not someone that needs handouts. I’m not someone who needs to just be “pleased” or whatever.
That is just downright disrespectful and shows me that VoW doesn’t value me or my talents. And my second reaction is, this is a complete waste of my time. This is a complete waste of time of everyone in the match. We are put in a pre show match. Does this match mean anything to the winner? Hell no. Is this match going to provide the fans with anything? Are they really going to care about this match?! Hell, is this match even going to be seen by anyone?! Most likely not. Do you see my point? Do you see how it’s a waste of time? Last time I checked the only people that got pre show matches or dark matches were people that didn’t have the ability or the talent to make it to a main show. It’s pretty clear I’ve got the talent and I’ve got the ability. It’s pretty obvious that I am a guy that should be on a pay per view every month. It’s pretty obvious that I should be featured on weekly programming. I can’t speak for the others, but then again it isn’t my job to do so.
There was a slight shake in his head. Zakk’s frustrated attitude came out in him more and more by the second. That being said though, he began to really transfer his anger towards some people that might not be so deserving of it. At the same time it might have helped him find some kind of peace.
ZAKK MORRIS: I mean what the hell is a Yeshua in the first place? Dude looks like a rejected alien from Star Wars or Star Trek. Some stupid shit like that. Like seriously who would give birth to something like that? I’d like to imagine that had his mother knew he was going to come out looking like that. She would of done the right thing and had an abortion. . . and don’t freak out on me over that comment people. I’m pro choice . . . But when it comes to Yeshua. I can see why VoW would put him in a pre show match. They can’t have someone like that on an actual card and on the television. That’s just ratings waiting to die. Can’t have that happening. That’s like the worst business decision to ever made. I commend VoW for doing as much control damage as they could. It’s just too bad that VoW doesn’t have a basement to hide a freak like that in. It’s also unfortunate that they wasted their time in signing someone like that. His look is bad, but it’s also clear looking at him that he doesn’t have any talent.
I don’t know what his win or loss record is. Quite honestly, I don’t care to know what it is either. I’d imagine that he’s lost a hell of a lot more matches than he’s actually won. What in the hell made this dude think it was a good idea for him to be a pro wrestler? Did he think because he looks like the boogeyman that was going to get him wins? What are your opponents supposed to be so scared that they pass out leading to you gaining the one, two, three victory? I’m failing to understand your logic here Yeshua and seeing as someone that doesn’t like headaches. I’m not going to continue to put anymore time on trying to understand the situation. But I agree that you are someone that belongs on a pre show. I don’t really care if that upsets you or whatever. Cause the way that I see it dude. There’s nothing you can do about it.
Sure, we might be in the same match together. Not that I have much of a choice in that situation, but I can tell you this much. There’s nothing that you do that’s going to do any damage. I’ll likely just stand across from you in the ring and laugh. You’re amusing to me. The look is amusing. The fact that you think you can be a pro wrestler is amusing. The fact that you think you’re going to amount to anything in this business honestly makes me laugh. I just hope that you show up with at least a little bit of fight in you. Because with the way that I feel. With how I feel things went last week and with how I feel I am being treated around here. I’m going to step into that ring and I’m going to swing for the fences. So, if you don’t come prepared. You’re going to get your face rearranged rather quickly and trust me bro. You don’t want to be embarrassed like that, even though it would be an improvement for ya.
The Heartthrob wasn’t holding back. He wasn’t pulling any punches. Here he was going right after Yeshua. Someone that he didn’t know a whole lot about and someone that he didn’t know what he was capable of doing in the ring. None of that seemed to make a difference to him. He was going to fire shot after shot and show that he wasn’t afraid of anyone. Seeing as Yeshua seemed like someone that was a bit of his rocker in the first place. None of us really knew how that was going to play out for him. All we knew was Zakk wasn’t going to hold back.
ZAKK MORRIS: Patrick Jones. . . Well, I wish I could say that he wasn’t a guy that belonged in a pre show match. I wish I could say that’s the kind of guy that you look at and know that he’s a star. Know that he’s someone that knows what he’s doing in the ring and knows how to be one of the best technicians in the ring. However I can’t say that and the reason I can’t say that is because of how far he has fallen. Just one month ago at Fate of the Gods, Patrick found himself in the main event. He was in the maine vent competing for the Zero Gravity Championship against Ziu Zhong. Dude, you were in one hell of a position. How the hell do you fall so far? I mean I get not being in a championship match the very next pay per view. You had a chance and you failed. It means you go to the back of the line. I understand that. I get that. But you’ve fallen so far in two months that you aren’t even on the main card. You’re in a pre show match. How the hell does that even happen?
Let me ask you a serious question here Patrick. If you’ve fallen that far in a matter of two months. What makes you think that I’m someone that should fear you? What makes you think that I am someone that should take you seriously? What makes you think that I am someone that needs to take your ability seriously? I would of seen you as a threat to me and you would of had a leg to stand on. If this wasn’t the situation that it is now. If we had ourselves a normal one on one match on the card - where it actually matters. Then I would have a reason to have respect for you. Then I’d have a reason to look at you as someone that could go toe to toe with me. Then I’d have a reason to look at you as someone that’s my equal because of what you’ve done, but that isn’t the case Patrick. For someone that’s been around here as long as you have. It’s not doing you any favors at all to have a new guy come into this company and instantly look at you as someone that isn’t a challenge or a threat.
Hearing that is likely something that gets under your skin and it’s likely something that makes you want to head to this ring against me tomorrow night with your head on straight. With your mind focused and with the intentions of putting me in my place. That’s fine dude. You won’t be the first person that I’ve managed to piss off, irk, get on their nerves, or however you want to call it. Like I said that’s fine dude. You aren’t the first person and you aren’t the last person I’ve ever done that to. And when those people stepped to me in the past because I got under their skin or whatever. I dropped those people. I dropped them on their heads. I dropped them in the ring and I made sure they never stepped to me again. Much like if you head into this match thinking you’re going to step to me. I’m going to do the exact same thing to you.
And for the love of god save us the spiel about how long you’ve been doing this. Save us the spiel on how much a veteran you are. Save the spiel on how much you’ve done for this business, how you’ve paved the way for guys like me, and all that other veteran nonsense that’ll come out of your mouth. Because again not a single bit of it is going to mean anything to me. Not a single bit of it is going to impress me. My view of you isn’t going to change. Now is what I intend on doing is going to change. Face it Patrick, I’m going to step into the ring with a man like you. I’m going to work circles around you. I’m going to out wrestle you and i’m going to beat you. Only saving grace for you is it’s going to be in a match that doesn’t matter, but look at it like this. If I can beat you once, when it doesn’t matter. I’ll beat you twice as bad when it does matter.
He paused for that moment to look at the cameras. While looking directly into the lense, he gave a little wink. That seemed to be something that was just going to add insult to injury. As if he hadn’t done enough damage at this point with his words. Once again he wasn’t holding back as he went right for the throat of things. Not bothering to care who he upset or how much heat he had. Patrick was a man that likely wouldn’t care too much for what a young buck like him would say, but at the same time was there anything he could do about it in the end? That remained to be seen.
ZAKK MORRIS: However don’t let me forget about you, Keisha Britley or should I say Keisha Kapowski? I mean that is what you tried to refer to yourself as right? You tried to compare yourself to the lovely Kelly Kapowski. My first crush and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one. She was a total babe and stole hearts. But I get it Keisha, you think you’re quick and witty. Targeting me for my name and all that jazz. Wasn’t like the most original thing that you could of done. You realize how many people have done that before? It didn’t really get them anyway at all. But you get it, you caught on that I’m a fan of the show and I thought it would be a great joke. A running gag if you will. Kind of like your career has been a great joke. It’s been a running gag. It might not be making you laugh but it sure is making everyone else laugh.
I already knew you were funny to compare yourself to Kelly. Like I said she was a total babe. She was hot as hell, and you? Well you’re just okay. I’d give you about a six or seven. Certainly not a ten like Kelly and you damn sure don’t have the talent that Kelly had either. But then again not having talent is kind of why your career has become the joke that it is. Ain’t that about right Keisha? You’re the type of girl that’s too worried about going to the ring and making sure that you please the fans. You’re the type of girl that’s more worried about kissing babies and huggin fat chicks. You’re the type of chick that’s worried about everything else but the actual talent that it makes to make it in this business. You talk about being discouraged and being upset that you didn’t make it into the Quest for the Case match but it was clear you wouldn’t make it. You didn’t have the talent to do so.
That’s exactly why you find yourself in a pre show match. A match that you actually seem excited for. Why I have no idea. A match isn’t a match. Not when it’s a match that’s filled with people that suck and one person that shouldn’t be here in the first place. Not when it’s a match no one is going to see or care to see. It’s not a match anyone is going to care about and it’s not a match anyone’s going to remember. We got thrown a bone. This company took pity on us and you seem to be okay with that which just makes me sick to my stomach. And not only are you excited for it. You’re parading around and bragging about how prepared you are for this match. Talking about watching tapes, staying in shape, and having a game plan. You are truly a special kind of person and I don’t mean that in a positive manner.
Target my knees all you want in an attempt to knock me down a notch or two. However you need to keep in mind. If you do something like that. Be prepared to get punched right in the mouth and I’m sure the last thing you want to do is receive a full-blown punch from a man. Believe me I don’t have a problem doing it either. That might be morally wrong, but a lot of morals go out the ring when you enter this business. Not to mention Keisha, you’re willingly deciding to step into the ring with men. Men who are bigger than you. More skilled than you and men that can do a lot of damage to you. In a situation like this you simply don’t belong. However I’m not foolish either. I know you aren’t going to listen to me and you’re going to do whatever you want to do anyway. You’re going to head into this match prepared and focused and think that you’re going to do some damage.
But the truth of the matter is Keisha, there’s a reason you are in the position that you are in. There’s a reason that you’re off competing in a pre show match. This company doesn’t value you the way they think they should and they don’t see the talent that you think you have. They gave you an opportunity last week and you fell flat on your face. Where as I it’s a completely different situation and this is a matter where the company is against me for some odd reason. That’s okay, it’s going to be something that’s going to turn around real soon. We’re going to square off Keisha, but I promise you. In the end you’re going to get dropped in the middle of the ring and all that preparation won’t mean anything because I’ll be leaving with the victory.
His words towards Keisha came off as harsh and they may have even come off as a little unneeded. Though, it was made obvious at this point he didn’t care who he was in the ring with. He didn’t care if it was a man, a woman, or a freak. He was going to go right for the throat of things. He was going to call it like he seen it and say whatever he wanted to say. If people had a problem with it. They could step up and attempt to stop him, but the chances of that happening were slim to none.
ZAKK MORRIS: All three of you are looking at this match as a chance to prove yourselves and looking at this match as a chance to prove to VoW that they were wrong about you. Looking to prove that you do belong in a match on the main card. Though, that chance and that opportunity is going to end up slipping right through your fingers. You’re going to fumble that shit like it’s a football and there’s going to be no way for you to recover from it. Think about it you three. If you’re in this position in the first place. What makes you think that it won’t happen again? What makes you think that you won’t screw up again? Because history always has a tendency of repeating itself. But not only are you going to drop the ball because that’s what you do and that you three are just fuck ups like that. You’re going to come out losers because of the simple fact that I’m better than the three of you combined. Is that arrogant? Yep. Is that cocky? Damn right. Is it the true? You can bet your ass it is!
Those words were a couple more shots aimed in the direction of his opponents. It was like he had to get that one last dig in on them. At this stage it was all a matter of doing anything that he could in order to convince them of his abilities. Even though it was going to be like everything else. Nothing was going to be taken seriously until he proved himself in the ring. Talk was cheap, but actions said everything they needed to say. That being said Zakk stepped towards the cameras a bit. Looking right into the lense with this seriousness about him.
ZAKK MORRIS: Look me in my eyes when I say this Visionaries of Wrestling. You’re going to regret the day you decided to pity me. You’re going to regret the day that you just “threw” me into a match. You’re going to regret the day you let Sophia Halter have a win over me that she didn’t deserve. Enjoy being over on me for the moment, but like I said. You’re going to regret it in a big way. As of this match on the Pre Show to Heatstroke. You’re going to come face to face with a very determined young man with a chip on his shoulders and I’m not going to stop until I crush every last one of you beneath me. Making you regret what you’ve done to me but also make you see how stupid you are for doing that as well. Won’t be long until I am the single biggest star ever be in VoW. Mark my words that day is coming!
For a second or two longer Zakk just looked at the cameras before him with that intense look in his eye. He looked back at the cameras as if he was using those intense eyes to drive everything home to the people and to get them to see him for more. Though, that wasn’t going to work in his favor and deep down Zakk knew that. The only way people were going to change their views on him is if they saw him in action and saw what he could do. Zakk had to prove them all wrong just like he said in his video and go from there. Was that going to be the case? Well, that’s something we were going to have to wait and see. With Zakk turning around the cameras found themselves fading to black leaving everyone on the edge of their seats till the big night arrives.
