PERSONALITY
Marcus is about as zen as you can get, very few things phase him. He's seen pretty much everything in wrestling and doesn't surprise easily. He's made plenty of money in the business and has invested wisely, so he doesn't need the money - now he wrestles just for fun. He's usually breezy, chatty and easy going. But he's also human, he does have limits and will snap if pushed hard enough. After five years of watching wrestling stagnate, he's now on a crusade to bring wrestling back to actual wrestling.
CURRENT ACCOLADE(S)

ENTRANCE THEME
"Honor Never Dies" - by Hatebreed
ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION
A power chord crashes through the arena and every light - from stagelight to spotlamp - winks out, leaving only blackness.
"SOMETIMES, STANDING UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE, MEANS STANDING ALONE!"
As Hatebreed's "Honour never dies" blares in full chorus, The titantron flashes - pulsing in flashes of pure white, dark purple, static and clips of previous matches. Around the arena, spotlights in white and purple spin through the crowd bewilderingly.
On the stage, a single spotlight shines on Marcus Reeves, clad in wrestling gear, trenchcoat and sunglasses. He drops to one knee, scanning the crowd with a welcoming grin, then throws one hand into the air, saluting the crowd. Gracefully for a man his age, he rises and begins the walk to the ring, arms spread to tag fans both left and right. He slides into the ring with a fluidity belying his size, coming to one knee and repeating his salute. Again he rises, shakes the referee's hand as a sign of respect, then doffs his trenchcoat and glasses, ready for the fight to come.
WRESTLING STYLE
Technical/Catch Wrestling & Powerful
STRENGTHS
Experience - Marcus is 48 and has been wrestling since he was 19. After nearly three decades of wrestling, he's pretty much seen and done it all. His ring awareness is beyond compare.
Strength - Always a powerfully built man, he may have slowed down over the years but Marcus has kept up his training regimes and is still freakishly strong for his age.
Submission Master - British wrestlers are revered for their knowledge of catch wrestling and Marcus is no different. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of submissions and counters. Very rarely does he end up in a position to tap.
WEAKNESSES
Age - He's 48 and not getting any younger. The punches don't quite have the sting, the kicks don't quite have the snap and the top rope is all but off the table. Transitions and recoveries take significantly longer, leaving him exposed and open.
Right knee - Even after 7 surgeries and a total rehab time of three and a half years, it's still basically held together with chicken wire and duct tape. Prone to being injured, it's a natural target and can affect his power game, as well as being targeted for submissions.
Low Stamina - The longer the match goes on, the more trouble Marcus is in. Whilst he can ground an opponent and tie them up to catch his breath, it's still not enough. Time is most definitely not Marcus' strength, so he'll aim to finish quickly with power moves and submissions.
BASIC MOVES
Mark plays to his wrestling background and tailors his moveset around taking opponents to the mat and targeting limbs;
Headlock takedown,
Firemans carry,
drop toehold,
Uranage slam,
STO,
arm drag,
dragon screw leg whip,
snapmare,
powerslams,
various arm bars, knee bars, ankle and wrist - all the joints, essentially. Think ZSJ levels of catch wrestling.
Spine buster
Various suplexes (Snap, Gutwrench, gutwrench, northern lights, T-Bone)
step over toehold,
running boot
Corner clothesline to bulldog,
draping neckbreaker,
Gorilla press dropped onto the top rope/turnbuckle
Fallaway pumphandle slam
SIGNATURE MOVE(S)
Buckle Bomb (Setup for Arnos Vale finisher)
9-3 (Nine-Three) - Hammerlock leg sweep DDT
FINISHING MOVE(S)- limited to 2 please -
Check Mate - Tequila Sunrise (Arm trap single leg Boston crab) - MAIN FINISHER
Arnos Vale - Running shining wizard to the back of the head (Opponent kneeling), or from second rope (opponent standing - rarely used)
RARE/BANNED MOVES:
Cerebral Shock - Double Underhook sitout crucifix bomb (Watanabe Hell Smasher)
The Cerebral Shock is Marcus' old finisher but has been out of use since he ended the career of Cyrus Landell with it more than six years ago. NOTE: This isn't something he'd use often, this is used as a blow off to a big, personal feud or as something when all else fails, including breaking his own code on weapon use. More'n happy for Marcus to land in some troubled with the boss if this gets used.
Dishonour - Hangman's shining wizard.
Banned in most of the federations Marcus has wrestled. He throws the opponent out of the ring, trapping their head between the top and middle rope. As they hang their by the neck, Marcus rebounds off the opposite ropes, runs full speed and blasts the unprotected head with a leaping knee strike. This is a "When it gets personal" move and has mainly been met with suspension.

WEAPONS:
Marcus will under no circumstances use weapons - his gimmick is bringing wrestling back to prominence and despises what he deems "garbage wrestling". About the furthest he'll go is putting his opponent through a table when the stipulation is required.

BIOGRAPHY
Marcus had a nice, normal childhood in a small mining community in South Wales - his Mom raised him and his younger sister, his dad worked, typical late 60's/early 70's rural Wales. At aged 7 he was taken to see a wrestling show and instantly feel in love. He started training at 16, wrestling at 18 under the name Kid Rocket, and eventually moved to the States to wrestle at 21.
Wrestling under the name "UnderDose", he experienced amazing success throughout the States, wrestling for over twenty promotions and winning over 60 titles with various stables. Never one for drugs, and only the occasional drink, Marky invested his money wisely, opening a string of rock and goth clubs in the UK and investing the the housing market. He lives now in Caerphilly, Wales, in a purpose built villa in the middle of nowhere.
Marcus never married - his primary focus was always wrestling, and he saw how travelling on the road so much affected relationships, so decided he wanted none of it. His biggest fans are his two nephews - 13 and 16 - who beg him to train them every time he sees them.
