JUMBOVISION VIDEO
ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION
The opening drum beats of Billy Talent's "Red Flag" echoes throughout the arena as the crowd erupt in a flurry of cheers and immediately begin to slam against whatever they can to the beat of the song. Once the song kicks in (0:12), "Indestructible" Owen Gonsalves bursts out from behind the curtains with his trademark hooded vest on his shoulders and the hood itself covering half of his face, the crowd pops at the sight of him, continuing to slam against the guardrail. Owen stands and doesn't make a move. You see him join his hands quickly before unclasping them and going ahead with the sign of the cross quickly before flipping off the hood and making his way down the ramp.
"Cast off the crutch that kills the pain
The Red Flag waving never meant the same
The kids of tomorrow don't need today
When they live in the sins of yesterday"
The verse repeat a second Owen is fired up, leaning against a guardrail and joining the front row in slamming against it to the beat of the song. Slowly, the song calms down and Owen continues to make his way down the ramp.
"Well I've never seen us act like this
Our only hope is the minds of kids
And they'll show us a thing or two
Our only weapons are the guns of youth
It's only time before they tighten the noose
And then the hunt will be on for you"
Owen stops in front of the ring, staring at everyone inside of it as the song reaches it's chorus. He climbs up onto the apron and then slingshots from the apron into the ring. The song begins to die down as Owen climbs up onto the second turnbuckle, facing the inside of the ring and takes off his hood and throwing it outside the ring. He sits on the top turnbuckle and await the opening bell while chatting out to nearby fans in the front row.

WRESTLING INFORMATION
WRESTLING STYLE
European Catch / High Impact Technical / Aerial Precision. Owen brings a creative, unique mix of catch submission wrestling with high upperbody based attacks and slams, along with a heavy use of aerial assaults. He's smart about out-wrestling his opponents and for the most part bases his attack around the head, neck, limbs and joint but is quick to adapt and adjust his game plan mid-match if things change. This style of wrestling is often viewed as pretty yet effective, an entertaining style that wows an audience which for years has been Owen's aim. Owen is very much an entertainer and his main objective is to put on a great match for the fans every show so if his opponent isn't holding their own, Owen has a tendency to fire them up or get them heated in order to put on a better performance for the audience in attendance, he may do this by lightly slapping them or throwing a taunt their way. When facing the more disrespectful or more hated opponent, Owen will shoot a spit or a snot rocket their way. Gonsalves enjoys interacting with the fans throughout the match and often is known for a few shenanigans during the match as well in order to throw the opponent off their game. (Independent based style, Zack Sabre Jr/Ricochet)
STRENGTHS
Physical Toughness
Due to prior history and experience in some of the most brutal deathmatches and hardcore matches one could think of, Owen has developed some what of a sponge to soak up serious amounts of punishment that his opponent may dish out, this doesn't mean he doesn't feel pain but he can certainly take a lot of it.
In-Ring Agility
Over the years, Owen has built up an immeasurable amount of speed in the way he moves inside the ring, the agility doesn't only effect his movement but also the speed in which he hits a lot of his moves as well.
Endurance
With history in enduring long winded matches, like a Three Stages of Hell match (which Owen has partaken in seven times!) and with his always improving cardiovascular training, Owen has proven that he can consistently go throughout a long, drawn out war at any pace.
Technical Wrestling Ability
Having ditched his Ultraviolent days of past, Owen has resorted to a style of wrestling he hasn't showcased much of in his 8 years as a wrestler and has incorporated a unique blend of differing wrestling styles to create quite the technical prowess inside the ring.

WEAKNESSES
Inner Demons of Ultraviolence
Sometimes, it just won't go away.
Risky Decisions
Owen does throw his body around and take chances when he needs to and especially when he's got his opponent reeling, however this does backfire on occasions and can cause from some serious trouble.
Size
He's 5'11" and 205 pounds...Big guys toss him around, obviously.
Entertainer
Owen enjoys having fun in the ring and finding unique ways to entertain the crowd at his opponent's expense or at a snarky fan's expense, however these sort of distractions can be what costs Owen in the end unfortunately.

BIOGRAPHY
EARLY LIFE
Owen Lawrence Gonsalves (born July 21, 1989) is an American-Australian professional wrestler currently working for Visionaries of Wrestling (VoW). Owen most famously worked in New Edge Wrestling as well as making his name in the Next Evolution Wrestling circuit, under 3CW and FSW as well as working in Shootclub Wrestling Alliance circuit, under Shootclub Championship Wrestling. He was 3CW'S last Full Metal Champion as well as being the only champion to win it but never defend it on a televised event. He's also a former Tag Team Champion in SCW and SCW's Grand Canyon Champion which lasted an hour before he would lose it to Randall McYintosh.
Owen grew up around a family who was nowhere near poverty but nowhere near millionaires. Owen was the second oldest of 4 brothers and lived with his father and now late, mother. Owen grew up idolising the likes of Donovan Kayl, Bronx Goldie, "100% Proof" Adam Edwards, "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Frei and Micah King. Wrestling was one of the Gonsalves' family's great traditions always sitting together and watching different televised wrestling shows so naturally the 4 brothers would wrestle in the backyard, living room, on the bed and even in the garage but only one would ever go as far as trying to make a living out of the extreme sport known as professional wrestling, that would be Owen.
Owen self trained himself at the age of 12 for about 2 months before his father found that his son was interested deeply in the sport and took it in his own hands to take his son to Detroit, Michigan for training. Owen left Melbourne, Australia at the age of 13 only weeks after his 13th birthday, with his father. Owen trained and wrestled in Detroit for nearly 6 years and in this time span Owen would've lost his mother to an illness, moved in with one of his trainers due to his father returning home and even breaking both his ankles until finally at the age of 18, Owen would return to Australia in hopes of starting a career in pro wrestling.
Owen returned to Australia and was immediately left with devastation of having to go through the rest of his life without his mother. He fell into depression and soon was completely left out of any wrestling scene. After 7 months of being the same Owen finally shrugged off the sadness, trained and got back whatever fitness he lost and made his debut in PCWE, a league localised in Melbourne.
PCWE- HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Owen walked into PCWE and was immediately notified for his weight class, Lightweight. Owen strangely enough was the only wrestler to be classified as Lightweight and had a good time beating the wrestlers who admitted they weren't used to fighting a much quicker opponent. Owen wrestled in the local wrestling league for a month and quickly became one of the most loved wrestlers in the city. After 3 or 4 months, PCWE Promoter Claude Simmons found more Lightweight talent and started up it's own division with it's own championship. It's very first holder was not Owen but Owen ended up winning it twice and held it longer than any other wrestler in the company until most recently when his record was beaten. But before his record could be beaten he challenged and won the Heavyweight title and become the first Lightweight to win the Heavyweight title in the company's history. He held the title for a strong 11 months and defended it 194 times, he defended his belt at every show as his wish and ultimately lost the title to the future longest reigning champion, Christopher Mavisa. After 3 more months in the company and more fantastic wins, Owen was suggested to the state's best wrestling promotion, Victoria State Wrestling.
VSW- BUILDING NATIONAL RECOGNITION
Owen having been already in 2 or 3 dark matches in VSW, was quickly a fan favourite. He had a large feud with Mark Taylor, Aiden Blackheart and a most memorable hardcore feud with Diamond Eye. Two major things happened in the feud, Diamond Eye had turned heel for the first time in his career and he changed his named to Die Man Die and the two put on a Flaming Table match. Owen remembers this as the whole reason he fell in love with hardcore wrestling. Owen went on to win the VSW Heavyweight title for the first time and then again 3 more times before the fans grew tired of him and started to leave shows when his matches came along. Owen soon was dropped and the 4 time champion is now forgotten in VSW.
LAW- REOCCURING APPEARANCES T0 ADD TO THE GONSALVES WRESTLING NAME, RIVALRY WITH CHRIS CRYPTIC
One of the other promotions Owen was involved in was, League of Awesome Wrestling run by one of the great Australian promoters, Jimmy Carmichael. LAW was by all means an independent backyard wrestling federation with a healthy audience, Owen arrived in the promotion at an early age and was a regular on the show. The promotion would do healthy intershow events with In Your House Wrestling Federation, another local backyard federation where famous Australian wrestlers like Chris Cryptic and Michael Diablo would wrestle at. One of the memorable matches between LAW and IYH interpromotion shows were the two matches between Cryptic and Gonsalves. Their first encounter was a high intensity 15 minute bout which resulted in Cryptic picking up the win, after this Owen would find himself with the LAW Championship and the two would meet again as champions of their respective companies. Their second bout ended up going to the 30 minute mark before Owen would finally pick up the win on the companies second last show. With 4 months as champion, Owen would defend his title on the company's last show before the company folded and thus Owen was left to hold onto the defunct LAW Championship. His career would take a huge turn however as he would find himself on a plane back to America.

SWA- UNDER SCW BRAND, INTERNATIONAL SENSATION, CHAMPIONSHIP REIGNS
After a few more months of wrestling in different companies and becoming unsuccessful he turned to a company out of Australia. He went to an interpromotional company which held smaller wrestling companies under it, Shootclub Wrestling Alliance. Owen started out in the training facility to scratch up on some skills so he could match up against some of the more experienced wrestlers. Owen left the training facility for the first and only stop in his SWA career. In the SWA, there are 5 different tiers with 3 to 4 wrestling leagues in them and wrestlers will try and dominate the league enough to get a league in the upper tier's attention. Owen started out in the first tier company, SCW and wrestled there for more than 6 months. In that time span, Owen would become internationally known as a daredevil who would take risks and reward himself with a victory. Owen's most memorable feud under SCW was with Terry Roberts. Roberts and Owen would square of a few times, one of them being where Roberts took on Owen, his friend Death Angel and Angel's arch rival and Robert's ex-tag partner, Reverend Crow. Where with the help of the newly arrived Tony Hardcastle, Roberts came out victorious. Owen eventually had enough of Robert's goth antics and challenged Roberts to what would be the first of Owen's many Three Stages of Hell matches. The first stage was a Hardcore Match, Terry won the first stage after placing Owen on a table and a chair on top of Owen before performing a 360 splash and getting the 3 count. The second stage was a Steel Cage match which was to remind everyone of the victory Roberts got over Owen in their last cage match, this one Owen won after handcuffing Terry to the cage and climbing over. The final stage was chosen by Roberts himself when he stated he wanted to make sure Owen was next to Reverend Crow who he recently hospitalised, on a stretcher...The match was a Stretcher Match. The match was vicious but after Owen dropping a flying elbow on Terry nearly breaking the stretcher Owen uses his last bit of energy to roll it across the line winning his first Three Stages of Hell match.
After his feud with Roberts, Owen and Roberts grew a mutual respect for each other. Roberts and Owen's history wouldn't end however as Owen's two children, Tobias and Shaelyn were born Owen requested that Terry be Shaelyn's Godfather. Terry accepted the offer but on a condition that he end his friendship and tag team with Ricky Angel. Owen took time to think about before realising that Terry was right and that Owen needed to focus on his singles career. Owen requested that their tag team end but Ricky refused saying that Owen and Terry were talking jibberish, Ricky went on to say that "He was always there for Owen and Terry was not." Owen disagreed and angrily reminded Ricky that he left Owen when Owen needed him against Terry to move up the SWA ranks. Ricky then decided that he would have to beat some sense into Owen and changed his name to Pulse after claiming that Owen had lost his pulse and it was his job to bring it back. Owen agreed and added one more stipulation or rather three...The two faced off in a Three Stages of Hell Match. This would've been Owen's 2nd in a 6 month time frame. Owen went on to beat Pulse 2-0 but before the match could end a battered Pulse wanted to fight Owen in the last stage which Owen ultimately beat him in. Pulse vanished after this and Owen moved on with his career.
Before his feud with Pulse, Owen teamed up with him back when he was first known as Dark Angel and Owen and Angel became Tag Team Champions, their reign didn't last long however but it's still noted. Owen had more championship runs after his feud with Pulse. He won the SCW Grand Canyon Championship in a match against Luc "The Dustdevil" Williams. Owen beat him and won the title, after the match though Owen wanted to prove he was a good champion by challenging anyone from the back to his third three stages of hell match of the year, commentator Jake Laurel made a comment that became well known in SCW, "THIS BASTARD HAS GONE TO HELL 3 TIMES, THAT'S ALREADY MORE THAN JESUS!". Although this became Owen's undoing and he ended up losing the title to Randall McYintosh who was the first and the only man to beat Owen in the match. Owen's reign became the shortest in the companies' history.
NEWA- UNDER 3CW AND FSW BRANDS, CLIMBING THE LADDER RUNG BY RUNG
Evidently after a few weeks the SWA folded due to bankruptcy. Wrestling promoters all around the world took notice but the one that took notice was the CEO of the newest branch of wrestling, Next Evolution Wrestling Alliance which held many superstars from the SWA. Owen was drafted to a company in California called Cal Coast Championship Wrestling or 3CW. Owen there immediately feuded with his bastard of a brother, Oscar Gonsalves who had started attacking Owen to prove outright who the better Gonsalves brother was. The two battled each other in tag matches for months but in 3CW's second PPV. Owen and Oscar faced off in another Three Stages of Hell match as voted by the fans. Oscar disagreed but evidently agreed after more pressure being placed. A week prior before the match Owen and Oscar's father made an appearance and claimed that both men were acting like morons and that he wanted it settled one way or another. He went on to add that there needs to be repercussions for one of the men and the loser would be transported back to Australia. The match was gruesome with Oscar winning the first match, which was a Hardcore match. Owen controversially won the second fall which was a First Blood match. Oscar cut himself open in front of Owen to prolong Owen's suffering. The last fall was a Tables Match which Owen ended up winning leaving Oscar to return unwillingly back to Australia.
During Owen's feud with Oscar, Owen versed Dennis Anderson in a Casket Match, voted by the fans. Dennis came close to putting Owen in the Casket but Oscar came out and made it look like he was saving Owen before he attacked Owen for the second week in a row. Then after the feud with Oscar, Dennis and Owen's bestfriend and fellow 3CW wrestler, Tyler Storm versed each other in a match. During the match Dennis tried placing Tyler in a Casket to which Owen came out to aid his bestfriend stopping it from happening. A few more weeks later Owen's wife and two children were abducted by a masked man in Owen's California home after many days and weeks without his family and searching for not only who it was, Owen found a lead. The lead the led him to "The Gravedigger" Dennis Anderson himself. Owen and Dennis feuded for months, Dennis not giving any explanation as to why he abducted Owen's family. Only a couple of weeks away from the next PPV, Dennis and Owen finally faced off outside the ring for the first time where Owen had walked into Dennis' graveyard in desperate search for his family. Owen found them all including Dennis' sidekick Dungeon Master who brutally attacked and bloodied Owen. Dennis went on to explain why he abducted Ashley, Tobias and Shaelyn. He claimed that he was rather pissed off with the Gonsalves' screwing him over time and time again so he decided to put an end to the master behind the Gonsalves'...Owen. Dennis challenged Owen at Owen's own game, A Three Stages of Hell match. The winner would receive the ownership of Ashley, who Dennis claimed to be his Graveyard Mistress and the two infants who Dennis also claimed to be his successors after Dennis' "immortal life". The two faced off with Owen winning the match thus momentarily ending their heated feud.
After a few more months in 3CW, Owen felt the fans had turned on him and started cheering for other wrestlers. This caused Owen to in a fast process turn the tables on them by furiously insult the crowd by calling them verbal assaults. Owen thus turned heel for the first time and in a matter of a few months became the most hated heel in 3CW at that time. During his heel turn Owen had won his first title in NEWA, 3CW's Full Metal Championship. He held the title for a few weeks and originally was supposed to have his first title defense against Keron O'Malley, but the 3CW closed before it could happen leaving Owen to be the last champion in the small company's short history.
Owen was automatically drafted to another promotion still under NEWA, he was sent to Florida where he would wrestle under Florida Superstar Wrestling. Before he could be drafted to FSW, Owen made a 150,000+ viewed video on Youtube where he apologized to the wrestling fans and his fans for his drastic change in attitude. He stated that he had forgotten what he came to do and that was to fight for the fans. This very video being Owen's path back to a face turn. Owen continued in FSW for a longer time frame than his time in 3CW. He grew popular with the fans and his merchandise was in the top 5 most sold in NEWA's history, placing at number 4, only being topped by fellow best friend Tyler Storm, "Pretty" Ricky Valero and Gavin Taylor. Owen was also in the top 10 faces of the month of July 2012, placed at number 8. Only being topped by, Tyler Storm, Gary Matt, ARW, Michael McKay, Keron O'Malley and Tony Hardcastle. Owen's face status was merely because of his memorable feud with The Shadow Sect. a band of villains whose purpose was to be successful in the ultimate nullification of light, creating a world that lived in cold darkness. The group was led by Lord Moros, who had brought together the likes of Shulmanu, Lucifer Leviathan, The Sacred Dragons and famous 3CW promoter Old Scratch. Owen and other members of the FSW roster feuded with the band and at FSW's last show before NEWA's bankruptcy, the two groups versed in a WarGames steel cage match, which inevitably was won by Owen's team. Ending the feud.
After a few more week NEWA went bankrupt and unlike SWA's fall there was no other company for months that would pick up the heap of wrestlers that fell. Owen being the impatient person that he is searched and found a new league for himself a league that was truly their own...no higher power to flop and no other leagues to contend with. This league was notably one of the best any wrestler would've seen. New Edge Wrestling.
NEW- REIGN OF ULTRAVIOLENCE LEADS TO INTERNATIONAL ACCLAIM
Owen made his in ring debut against Johnathan Mills at NEW's Kamikaze 2013 PPV event in Tokyo, Japan. He was successful in his match against Mills and later that very evening would get into a heated confrontation with veteran Frank Finelli and his wife Lisa Marie Finelli. Owen's wife Ashley was on screen as Owen's valet and manager and during this feud with Finelli, her and Lisa participated in a Bikini Contest to which she was victorious. Owen and Frank went on feuding for the next few weeks before going one on one at NEW's Justice 5 PPV in a Chairs Match where Owen walked out victorious, thus ending the feud.
