AFFILIATION(S)
Light comes from what's basically a hidden compound of aging luchadors and martial artists in the Mexico Desert. As such, I will frequently use other wrestlers from this place in his roleplays. The big one's being his trainer, El Hijo del Dragon and his fellow student and greatest rival, The Daughter of the Dawn.
PAST AFFILIATION(S)
None
PERSONALITY
Light is a soft spoken, honorable man who sees himself more as a classical martial artist than a professional wrestler. He's spent the last ten years far removed from the rest of society, learning to be the best wrestler he could be and gaining an appreciation for his twin influences of chinese martial arts and lucha libre. To his mind, he goes out to the ring every night to honor his ancestors and develop himself into a better warrior. He values his personal honor above all other things, often diving into situations that are bound to be dangerous because of it and refusing to take the easy way out even though the consequences will be dire.
CURRENT ACCOLADE(S)
None. He's a rookie.
ENTRANCE THEME
“Arcane Voices” - Amesthstium
ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION
The lights inside the arena dim as the low choir and drums of Amesthstium's "Arcane Voices" begin to play. A spotlight hits the entrance way and Light emerges from the back. He bounces up and down on his toes, warming himself up and then leaning close to a nearby camera to yell some words of encouragement to the fans at home. He jogs down the aisle and jumps up to the apron in one easy stride. He waves his arms to one side of the audience, pumping them up. Then he does the same to the other. Finally, he pulls back on the ropes and rolls over them to land on his knees with his head bowed. He gets up to his feet and awaits the bell in the corner
WRESTLING STYLE
Luchador with heavy martial arts influences
STRENGTHS
Freaking agility: He's always had a knack for flying through the air. He's one of those guys who will always have a wacky way to escape. Whip him at a turnbuckle? He'll backflip off it and land on his feet. Try to powerbomb him? He'll hurracanrana you. If he's not dazed from getting beat up, he'll find a way to turn things to his advantage.
Crowd Connection: People want to like Light. He feeds off of it. He's an old school superface, and when the crowd is behind him there's few better in the world. He feeds off of them. There are times when it looks like he's about to break but he drives himself forward because the people love him.
Never Say Die: He's got that scrappy, never say die attitude all dumb young heroes have. If he's famous for one thing, it's somehow keeping going when bigger opponents have absolutely beaten the stuffing out of him. He doesn't keep the advantage for long, but it's hard to keep him down for a three count. His ability to take punishment is nearly unparalleled.
WEAKNESSES
”Sting Syndrome” : Light wants to believe in the good in people. He's always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt when they say they're trying to turn over a new leaf. The problem with this is, it means he can be easily swerved and lured into bad situations. More than one tag partner has asked for his help and turned on him because he always tries to do the right thing by people.
Inexperience : Sure, he might be physically very impressive for a rookie but he's still a rookie. He makes dumb mistakes all the time. He's that wrestler who falls for obvious distractions or leaves himself open to cheating on his opponents parts. He's also misjudged dives before, often flying over the top rope to the floor only to land with a devastating thud because he didn't realize an opponent was baiting him
Glass Cannon : So, remember the whole “Never Say Die” thing I talked about above? Yeah, that does NOT mean Light's invincible. Trust me, he's QUITE vincible. Basically, Light's fine as long as he's able to string moves together. When he's hitting you or flying around the ring he hits like a truck. But he's a tiny guy for wrestling and all it takes is one good shot for him to lose his offensive advantage. If his most famous attribute is his ability to take punishment, than the absolutely brutal bumps he ends up taking during hard fought matches are the second.

BIOGRAPHY
Light grew up somewhere in the Arizona desert. He refuses to address most of his life before he became a wrestler and put on the mask. What is known about him is that some sort of trauma caused him to head out into the desert to end his life. Eventually, after passing out due to the heat and dehydration, he woke up in some sort of strange compound near the Mexican border.
This place was "The Gates of Heaven." It was something of a folk story among wrestling and fighting fans, a place where aging luchadors and martial artists from all over the world went to live amongst like minded individuals. They saw something in the young man, giving him a purpose and a new identity. Today, Light travels the world trying to make himself the best wrestler he can. He tries to be a good man in a business that demands you take a dark path. In other words? A light in the dark.
