Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the first ever edition of Nitro News with me, VoW News Reporter, Joey Nitro. Tonight’s episode will cover all the news from VoW’s first edition of Breakthrough following their biggest Pay-Per-View of the year, Fate of the Gods...as well as that, I shall also be delving into news on new signings, releases and injuries as well as informing you all of any interesting rumours as well as any Twitter wars between any of our Visionaries...

Tonight’s episode will cover all the news from VoW’s first edition of Breakthrough following their biggest Pay-Per-View of the year, Fate of the Gods...as well as that, I shall also be delving into news on new signings, releases and injuries as well as informing you all of any interesting rumours as well as any Twitter wars between any of our Visionaries...

However first, we at Visionaries of Wrestling were saddened to learn of the recent passing of one of wrestling’s greatest and charismatic performers of all time, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes at the age of just 69. Born Virgil Riley Runnels Junior on October 11th, 1945 in Austin, Texas, the American Dream began his wrestling career in 1968 in the National Wrestling Alliance before then moving onto Jim Crockett Promotions for four years. He would then, in 1989, make it to the big leagues when he signed with Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation where he would wrestle for three years, as well as that, he would also wrestle for other big companies such as World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He also wrestled a little on the independent circuit before finally returning to World Wrestling Entertainment as a trainer on top of working as a booker and producer for WWE’s developmental territory, NXT. Throughout his entire wrestling career, Rhodes has helped many wrestlers make the most of their dreams as well as inspiring many wrestlers that he had never met, many of those wrestlers are Visionaries here in VoW. From us all here at VoW, we send our thoughts, prayers and condolences to the Rhodes family, rest in peace Dream...you will be missed but never ever forgotten...

Moving onto two of VoW’s biggest news stories and they are that we now have a new World Visionary Champion and a new Xcel Champion. In what was a match of Pay-Per-View quality, after Casanova English cost Ziu Zhong the Zero Gravity Championship at Fate of the Gods, VoW would give Mr Selfie a chance at retribution by awarding him a chance at the leader of The Orphanage’s World Visionary Championship and after one Hell of a back and forth contest, Mr Zhong would overcome the Modern Day Messiah and be crowned the brand new World Visionary Champion...

But before we saw that, we saw The Blademeister, the Dude with the Tude, Ryder Blade knock off Stacy Jones to become the new Xcel Champion...however he didn’t do it alone as he would have some help from “Phenomenal” Steve Herring who would wrap a steel chair around the head of Ms Jones when the referee’s back was turned...

However before all of that happened, the show kicked off with the newest member of The Orphanage, “The Punisher” Matthew Robinson who shocked the world at Fate of the Gods when he ended the career of Sir William Cambridge, seemingly to help out his ex-wife, Stacy Jones from another beatdown from The Orphanage but would then take her out and show that he was in fact the newest member of The Orphanage. He would face and defeat Captain Cosmo and Ollie the Magic Bum in a two on one handicap in quick succession before he would then proceed to decimate the two of them...however that wasn’t it for The Punisher as he would then be interrupted by the advocate for Seifer Black, Theodore Thompson who would issue a challenge to Robinson on behalf of his advocate, and well...Robinson would also decimate Mr Thompson as well...

And the final top story from Breakthrough saw Scarlet Flint and Steve Herring beat four other Visionaries respectively to book themselves a spot in VoW’s second ever Quest for the Case contest, the most interesting prizes in VoW history, for those VoW fans who have been watching VoW from the beginning know all too well that Ziu Zhong won the first Quest for the Case match and in turn ended up receiving a Zero Gravity Championship match, which he won and held until Fate of the Gods...this is surely a huge opportunity for both Herring and Flint...

And in other news, the relationship between former Xcel Champion, Stacy Jones and her fiance and manager, Tayla Williams continues to crumble when Ms Williams informed Ms Jones that she has asked VoW management to grant her a match against Katie Moicelle at our next Pay-Per-View event, Heatstroke with the stipulation that if Williams defeats Moicelle, Jones will no longer be able to train or see her ever again...however if Moicelle wins, then Williams proceeded to tell her fiance that she would leave VoW for good, and that their relationship would be no more...

Also, after already booking her place in the Quest for the Case contest set to take place at Heatstroke, Lexi Pearl announced her intentions to become the new VoW Zero Gravity Champion...so the question on every fans mind now is, what will the champions, Patrick Jones’, response be to this challenge? We may get our answer in the coming weeks...

Rayne Draven-Omega continues to be harassed by a scarecrow and everyone is wondering who this scarecrow is? The Duchess already has her suspicions and believes that the person behind the scarecrow is her ex-husband, NWA Hall of Famer, Jason Myers but really, it could be anyone so stay tuned to find out who it actually is...

And now onto signings, releases and injuries...within the last couple of months, VoW has seen a whopping sixteen new signings to the company, those individuals, where some have already been mentioned, are Ron Oddmin, Chris Mosh, Cameron Behringer, Xavier and Xayne Traylor, Sheena Marie, Amber Jenkins, Scarlet Flint, Big Boss Hogg, Stuart Fishbauch, Dathyn, Andrew Charles Evans, Light, Beck Ramsey, Matthew Robinson and Sophia Halter as well as rehiring Tyler Storm. We at VoW would like to extend our gratitude to you all for choosing to wrestle with our company and we wish all of you the greatest of success. Upon the hiring of those Visionaries, VoW have had to say goodbye to a couple of fan favourites in Captain Cosmo and Ollie the Magic Bum, as previously mentioned, they were severely injured at the hands of “The Punisher” Matthew Robinson and as a result, they have been forced to retire from in-ring competition, we at VoW wish you both the best in your future endeavours. And also, because of the attack from Robinson, Seifer Black’s manager, Theodore Thompson suffered neck and spinal injury and is currently bound to a wheelchair for the foreseeable future, we at VoW wish Mr Thompson a speedy and successful recovery...

Even though all of these Twitter wars have seemed to have died down now, they’re still worth mentioning as I’m sure that it has pumped up the fans in hopes something will come from them. The first Twitter war comes courtesy of former Xcel Champion, Stacy Jones and new Xcel Champion, Ryder Blade, the two had a very heated war of words with one another and the question is, could it result in a rematch between the two? Our second Twitter war also included the new Xcel Champion, Ryder Blade and this one was with “The Punisher” Matthew Robinson. I’m sure that even though Robinson is a member of The Orphanage, with the way the fans treat Blade, I’m sure the fans would love to see Robinson try and shut up The Blademeister. And the final Twitter war I thought was worthy to note involved Robinson and VoW veteran, Owen Gonsalves...both men are highly accomplished athletes and I believe those who have followed both careers of these two men would love to see them do battle against one another, I know I would...
