The scene opens to the VoW newsroom where sitting behind the news desk, looking into the camera with smiles on their faces are VoW news reporters, Joey Nitro and Zelda Lawson. Graphics appear underneath them, displaying their names as Nitro shuffles the papers in front of him.
Joey Nitro
Ladies and gentlemen, hello and welcome to the Nitro/Lawson report, with the lovely Zelda Lawson...and Joey Nitro. In tonight’s episode, we shall be covering all the latest news from Breakthrough edition thirty, and after that, we shall be joined in the studio by none other than “The Archangel”, Seifer Black...
The camera cuts showing just Nitro and a graphic appears beside his head showing a still of Tyler Storm with his brand new I4NI Championship draped over his shoulder.
Joey Nitro
Our first top story of this evening saw the introduction of a brand new VoW Championship. At Heatstroke, Tyler Storm won the Quest for the Case Ladder match and VoW General Manager, Sky Sangue, wasted little time in awarding Storm with the contents of the briefcase, and that was the right to be the inaugural I4NI Champion. On top of that, after the controversial way that the Quest for the Case Ladder match ended, Ace Watson would be awarded a shot at Storm’s brand new title at the Breakthrough edition thirty-one event. I personally, cannot wait to see these two square off for this brand new championship at the next Breakthrough, it’s certainly going to be a classic encounter to say the least...
The camera moves over to Lawson as the graphic changes to one of Brett Carson standing over the body of Tyron Bickerton.
Zelda Lawson
Neither can I Joey. During the main event of the event, we saw Tyron Bickerton make his VoW in-ring debut as he took the opportunity to answer the open challenge to the roster made by The Orphanage's, Brett Carson. Tyron, who earlier in the evening was introduced to the Beauport audience by Owen Gonsalves, put up an incredible effort against Carson before losing by a controversial roll-up pinfall and immediately being attacked post-match by Carson with a microphone. Tough break to end the night for the debuting Visionary, but the amount of effort he showed in that ring definitely must have the eyes of the VoW faithful looking to see what is next for him.
Again, the camera switches back to Nitro with the graphic changing to an image of Stacy Jones having her arm raised by her brother, Seifer Black.
Joey Nitro
Oh definitely Zelda, he is certainly one to look for in the future. After suffering a huge loss at the hands of Seifer Black at Heatstroke, “The Punisher” Matthew Robinson was not in a very good mood to say the least. He would demand that Seifer come out to have a rematch against him, even threatening to assault one of Seifer’s fans if he failed to come out. Ultimately Seifer did come out, as you would expect him too, however he would announce that instead of having their rematch right then and now, he informed his old friend that he would have to wait until Armed & Dangerous, he would then proceed to announce that Robinson would have to take on his ex-wife, Stacy Jones for the first time ever. It was certainly one Hell of a match and after a Total Punishment, Robinson was looking to not only defeat Stacy, but put her out of action or potentially end her career as he has done to a few VoW employees already when he was setting up for the Black Out Kick. Thankfully for Stacy and her fans, her brother managed to distract Robinson long enough for Stacy to avoid the attack and would get the three count from a quick roll up. I think I speak for the entire VoW faithful when I say that it was a good thing he wasn’t able to strike with the Black Out Kick, and I also cannot wait to see Seifer versus Robinson for a second time at the upcoming Pay-Per-View...
The camera goes back to Lawson with a graphic now of Keisha Britely being held up by VoW security.
Zelda Lawson
And moving on to the opening match of the evening, we saw Keisha Britely make a bit of a shocking challenge as she called out Ace Watson. Watson went on to accept the match after a series of remarks by Britely, but despite a good back and forth between the two Ace decided to walk out on the match, resulting in a count out and a much needed victory for Keisha. However things took a bit of a different turn when the "chicken" dubbed Visionary by the crowd came back out wearing the mask that many thought Watson was finished wearing following Heatstroke, and viciously assaulted Britely before she reached backstage. Many are wondering why Ace donned the mask once more that he was forced into wearing by Beck Ramsey, and I certainly wonder if this attack is going to lead to some form of retaliation by Britely. Definitely a new rivalry to keep an eye on...
Cutting back to Nitro, he nods in agreement as the graphic changes showing Xcel Champion, Ryder Blade standing over a fallen Stacy Jones.
Joey Nitro
A rivalry to keep an eye on indeed, in other news, once again, the VoW faithful were forced to once again listen to Xcel Champion, Ryder Blade run his mouth. He would challenge anyone to an open challenge for his Xcel Championship, and then it seemed as if VoW World Visionary Champion, Valquist had answered it, however who came out was probably not even a wrestler, just some random midget Blade had hired. After making a mockery of an open challenge along with making a mockery of our World Champion, Blade would get an unexpected surprise when former Xcel Champion, Stacy Jones would come out. She would proceed to inform Blade that she had had enough of Blade constantly making a mockery of the championship she has held twice during her VoW career and she then challenged Blade to a match for the Xcel Championship at Armed & Dangerous. Blade would then challenge Stacy to a tag team match at Breakthrough edition thirty-one, if Stacy and her partner are victorious, she will indeed be granted a shot at the title. However things would end with Blade getting the last laugh as he would assault Stacy and leave her laying on the mat as he high tailed it out of the ring to safety. It will certainly be interesting to see if Stacy can earn this shot against Blade, if she were to win the Xcel title at Armed & Dangerous, she would once again make history by officially becoming the most decorated Visionary to date with a total of three championship reigns...
The graphic changes to one of Jones now standing in the ring proudly.
Zelda Lawson
Stacy certainly has showed herself to be one who is very much worthy of being the most decorated among this roster. However, the decoration that she desires the most which is the World Visionary Championship is what was the main focus of Jones' in-ring appearance a bit later in the night. After such a valiant effort at Heatstroke that led to no avail in claiming the top prize in VoW, Stacy addressed the crowd with a very direct claim that her time in the World title picture was far from over, going as far as to make the promise that her next match she steps into that is for said title, she is going to walk out with it. Many of the fans certainly would love to see Stacy with that title around her waists, and knowing her path to the World Championship is continuing will make any of her loyal followers excited and any member of that title picture will be put on full notice.
Again, the graphic changes and this time it displays Casanova English.
Joey Nitro
However, if Stacy does indeed want to remain in the World title picture, it looks as if she may have to go through Casanova English to do so as The Modern Day Messiah has also stated that his participation in the World title picture is far from over. Could it be possible that we could be seeing the leader of The Orphanage go up against the leader of First Strike to determine who will indeed be challenging next for the World Visionary Championship...
The graphic changes once more to one of Seth Iser.
Zelda Lawson
It could very well end up being a battle between those two in the near future for that World title shot. Another man that was involved in the title match at Heatstroke was Seth Iser, and in an interview via satellite, Iser took some pretty big shots at Jones and The Orphanage, as well as to the former World Visionary Champion, Ziu Zhong. Following that, he went on to address comments by Patrick Jones, and without wasting time, Seth issued a challenge to Jones at Armed & Dangerous. Iser has zero doubt Patrick will answer, and if he accepts like is expected we are going to be seeing one great match at the upcoming Pay-Per-View event...
The graphic disappears and the camera cuts back to both Nitro and Lawson.
Joey Nitro
It will surely be one for the ages Zelda, and that’s it for tonight’s news and now, as mentioned at the top of the show, it gives us great pleasure to welcome into the studio, “The Archangel” Seifer Black...
The camera pans out further to show Seifer Black sitting at the end of the news desk, adjacent to Nitro.
Joey Nitro
Thank you for joining us this evening Seifer, and I would like to begin this interview with what you said to Matthew Robinson on the last edition of Breakthrough. After he challenged you to a rematch right there and then, you proceeded to inform him that you two will indeed fight again, at the later date of the Armed & Dangerous Pay-Per-View event, so my first question to you is, what exactly do you have planned for this next match?
Seifer Black
Well, first of all, thank you for having me on the show, I’ve enjoyed what I’ve been seeing so far on the show since it began here in VoW. And as far as the match goes, I am going to be revealing more information at the upcoming Breakthrough. I promise you this though, you will certainly not be disappointed...
Zelda Lawson
Tell us Mr. Black, why is it this issue you have with Robinson is something you are wanting to continue? Even after your victory at Heatstroke, is there still something needed to be proven against him or is this a small part of something bigger?
Seifer Black
I would have been happy leaving it with how it ended, but with the actions of how Robinson reacted after our match. I have suffered many losses during my time here in VoW, but I don’t go ahead and assault officials or threaten fans because of those losses. Ever since I began my career here in VoW, I have wanted to make sure that people like Robinson, Edward Myers, members of The Orphanage cannot go around forcing people to do what they want them to do. They’re bullies and they have no right to throw their weight around and do the things they do, so that is why I feel like this thing with Robinson needs to continue, so I can let him know that his actions have consequences...
Joey Nitro
Speaking of the things Robinson has done, at Breakthrough when you introduced your sister Stacy to take him on, had it not been for your distraction at the announce table, he potentially could have either injured or ended the career of your sister. This is now the second time he has attempted to do this, as you would remember, when he first joined VoW, had it not been for you back then, he would have done it then. You and I have known Robinson for a very long time, you were as close as brothers, why do you think he has become the way he is now? What do you think has motivated him to turn his back on everything that he had ever fought for during his six year career in this industry?
Seifer Black
In some ways, I honestly couldn’t say...however my theory is, during his time away from the ring at home in England, he must have seen how the likes of Stacy have become extremely successful in this business after his retirement. I honestly believe that it’s just down to petty jealousy, he’s become jealous of the success of people who were once his family and that has eaten away at him and so now, he’s just taking it out on the likes of myself and Stacy...that’s what I believe is behind his reasoning for what he has been doing since his debut here in VoW.
Zelda Lawson
Do you feel like if you continue to put your focus on Robinson that he would eventually turn away from this lifestyle he has committed himself to recently? And could this possibly be a big step in maybe taking out the Orphanage once and for all in VoW? It is very clear they still hold a lot of power in this company, and with English leading the way even through set backs they have taken the time to continuously show dominance among those that stand in their way.
Seifer Black
I think any fight against them will always be a positive step to going into taking them down once and for all, however, I feel like taking down Robinson will not ultimately take them down altogether. Overall, I don’t see this as me battling The Orphanage, I see this as me taking on someone that I once called a brother, that to me is much more important than taking down The Orphanage as a whole.
Joey Nitro
Well we’re running out of time here, just enough time to ask two more questions, as you alluded too earlier, you unfortunately haven’t had the best of runs so far here in VoW, what do you think you need to do to get out of this rut you’ve been in, to get back on track?
Seifer Black
To be honest, it’s been tough and I’ve been trying to answer that question myself, I believe I just need to remain strong and keep going and eventually, my time will come...
Zelda Lawson
When that time does come, where do we see Seifer Black going? Is a World title run something you are looking to try in the near future, or is there another particular title you would like to try and take a hold of. Considering VoW's Champion roster is filled with some of the best this business has to offer, from Valquist to Cameron Behringer, and Ryder Blade along with my husband Tyler Storm, could one of those slots be filled by Seifer Black very soon?
Seifer Black
It’s all up to the people in charge, I would like to one day get a shot at one of the title’s here in VoW as I haven’t had such an opportunity yet. Of course, anyone would like to go for the World title, but every title here in this business has prestige and I would love to have a reign with either of them.
Joey Nitro
Well Seifer, thank you for time, and good luck in your match at Armed & Dangerous...
Black nods as the camera cuts back to both Nitro and Lawson.
Joey Nitro
And that’s all we have time for on tonight’s edition of the Nitro/Lawson report...make sure to tune in to Breakthrough edition thirty-one and don’t forget to tune into the next edition of the Nitro/Lawson report where we will be going over the news of Breakthrough edition thirty-one, as well as interviewing VoW’s Xcel Champion, Ryder Blade...
Zelda Lawson
That should be an interesting interview to say the least...
Joey Nitro
It will indeed, but until then, I’ve been Joey Nitro...
Zelda Lawson
And I’ve been Zelda Lawson, goodnight everyone...
The camera pans away from Nitro, Lawson and Black as they begin chatting with one another as the scene fades.
