Main Event
Seth Iser vs. Heath Williams
Axel Reid: Well, ladies and gentleman, it is finally time for our Main Event! Seth Iser will be competing on Breakthrough for the first time since last year, if I remember correctly, in his hometown no less, to battle The Hardcore Hero himself Heath Williams!
Ruby Parvati: But listen to these people, Axel! They know what’s coming up next, and they’re getting angry!
Axel Reid: As I mentioned before, Seth Iser did verbally abuse our fans earlier tonight…
Ruby Parvati: He was speaking his mind! How does that make him a hated man? It’s freedom of speech!
Suddenly, “Reminded” by Drowning Pool interrupts Ruby’s response. It is not long until Tyron Bickerton strolls out onto the stage, keeping the I4NI Championship on his shoulder as the crowd boos.
Ruby Parvati: And they shouldn’t be booing this man either! It’s atrocious behaviour!
Axel Reid: The only person who has shown atrocious behaviour is Tyron himself! Nonetheless, it looks like Tyron will be joining us for this Main Event… probably with an ulterior motive in mind.
Ruby Parvati: Or maybe he just wants to watch the match up close and take notes on how Heath does against Iser? He has a championship to defend and a rival to put inside a Casket, you know!
Tyron shoves signs out of his way as he heads to the commentary desk. He places the I4NI Championship neatly on the table and calmly takes a seat next to Ruby, putting on the third headset available.
Tyron Bickerton: You don’t mind if I sit here and share my thoughts with you, do you Ruby?
Ruby Parvati: Not at all! It’s a pleasure to have you!
Tyron Bickerton: Only you and a couple of others think so. The rest need to learn some manners.
Axel Reid: So how do you feel after your victory tonight against Casa De Kami… if you can call it that.
Tyron Bickerton: … What do you mean “if you can call it that?” That victory was deserved and inevitable, Axel. Rebecca and I went in there knowing we would win, we told those two shameful excuses for wrestlers we would win before the match, and we did. Case closed. But I have to say, that will not feel as good as seeing Heath get decimated by Seth Iser in a matter of seconds. I just hope he leaves me enough of Heath for Heatstroke, where I can rightfully and justifiably finish the job and get rid of that cancer from VoW forever!
Ruby Parvati: And reign supreme as the I4NI Champion!
Tyron Bickerton: Absolutely. No one deserves this accolade more than I do, and it is staying right where it belongs after I lock the Hardcore Helpless inside a Casket in Norfolk, Virginia.
The lights dim down as “Psychosocial” by Slipknot plays, yet the music is drowned out by the vicious booing from the audience. Soon enough, Seth Iser slowly walks through the curtain with that familiar scowl on his face, eliciting further hatred from his hometown crowd. He absorbs the reaction he gets from the crowd as he slowly walks down to the ring, even trading insults with some of them as he passes.
Jerry Heisenberg: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is your Main Event of the evening! Introducing first, hailing from Morgantown, West Virginia… standing at 6’5” and weighing in at 245lbs… “THE DEITY OF DESTRUCTION” SETH ISER!!!
Axel Reid: I can’t hear myself think with how loud this crowd is booing that man.
Ruby Parvati: It is so undeserved! Imagine our sports athletes coming back to this after their performance in the Olympics in Rio!
Tyron Bickerton: Seth doesn’t care about public opinion, unlike so many so-called wrestlers I could mention. He’s only concerned with proving he’s a great wrestler and an efficient brawler… just like I do. That gets my respect.
Iser reaches the ring and then rolls underneath the bottom rope. Afterwards, he performs a crucifix pose in the center of the ring which brings the lights back on. He then slinks to the corner in a seated position, looking at the referee and then the stage as he calmly yet coldly waits.
Ruby Parvati: Those eyes scream painful intent.
Tyron Bickerton: And they should. As much as I can’t stand Heath Williams, he’s not a push-over. He will fight until his last breath if he has to… and trust me, he will do. But that isn’t going to change what I know is going to happen in this Main Event.
“Little Pills” by Devilskin plays, causing the crowd to cheer loudly. Heath Williams then walks out, adorned in a long black coat and his wrestling gear. He scans the crowd and smiles confidently, shrugging his shoulders before he heads towards the ring.
Jerry Heisenberg: And his opponent, hailing from Auckland, New Zealand… standing at 6’4” and weighing in at 215lbs…”THE HARDCORE HERO” HEATH WILLIAMS!!!
Tyron Bickerton: He’s not a hero! He’s a junkie! His theme song is even called “Little Pills”! Tell me that doesn’t spell trouble and a waste of time!
Axel Reid: Those allegations were proven to be false when you organized the test, Tyron.
Tyron Bickerton: I know him better than you, Axel! He might have gotten away with it then, but give it time. The man tends to fall back into his vices, and it makes him a sad, pathetic individual. But if he thinks he can ruin my career, drag my name through the mud and take this I4NI Championship away from me, he has another thing coming!
Ruby Parvati: That is, as you said, if Seth Iser leaves enough of him for you to finish off at Heatstroke.
Tyron Bickerton: Heath doesn’t know when to quit, and that is his problem, Ruby. Even if Seth breaks him apart tonight, he’s going to find some way to drag his crippled body to Norfolk to get his hands on me. And then I’ll give him the lethal dose he rightfully needs… a strong dose of reality. Then maybe he’ll wake up and realize what he’s done to his life and his relationships.
Heath enters the ring and takes off his coat, dumping it outside the ring and pointing towards Iser. The Deity of Destruction rises from the corner, maintaining a focused demeanour as Heath gets prepared for the challenge.
Axel Reid: I don’t expect this to be much of a technical wrestling match. I have a feeling this is going to be a brawl from bell-to-bell.
Tyron Bickerton: Stubbornness will bite Heath back, just you wait. He should know he can’t take Seth Iser in a fist-fight. Only a fool would, and he is a fool.
DING DING DING!
Once the bell sounds, the crowd alternate between cheering for Heath and telling Iser he sucks, in a variety of ways. Both men depart their corners and circle the ring, keeping their eyes on one another. Eventually they advance into a lock-up, with Iser quickly cinching in a headlock on his opponent. Knowing the move well, Heath is able to loosen Seth’s grip and step backwards, putting Iser’s arm into a hammerlock. Being technically-savvy, Iser studies his routes of attack before he counters, ducking under and backward to bring Heath forward and trap him in another headlock.
Axel Reid: Chain-wrestling is starting off this Main Event tonight, a sight I thought we would never see between these two.
Ruby Parvati: It’s a testing-out phase, Axel. Iser needs to make sure he can accurately counter Heath and control his speed.
Iser kneels in the headlock, pulling Heath down with him. The crowd become loud and threatening towards the Deity of Destruction, who merely glares at them with contempt. A few moments later, Heath latches onto the arm again, managing to twist himself out of the predicament and set in a front facelock. Unfortunately for Williams, Seth is strong enough to power upward and lift Heath off the canvas, alleviating the pressure until he dumps Heath forward and onto his feet. After this exchange, Iser goes for a standing clothesline, but Williams ducks under the attack and swiftly boots his adversary in the thigh!
Tyron Bickerton: Heath knows he can’t out-wrestle Seth Iser either, so he’s being lured into Iser’s game!
Axel Reid: So far he has Iser reeling, Tyron. Those shots to the thigh are limiting Iser’s range and giving Heath ample time to coordinate another attack.
The rabid crowd cheer every kick that Heath connects with, slamming his foot and shin into the muscular thighs of the Deity of Destruction. However, this offense sorely ends with a strong right hand from Iser, which floors Heath in one shot!
Ruby Parvati: But there’s the notorious right hand from Seth Iser! He is a master at taking opponents out with that hand!
Tyron Bickerton: As I said, only a fool would fight Seth in that manner. Heath proved to us just how dumb he is.
Barely shaking his hand after the shot, Iser hobbles towards Heath and grabs him by his long hair. While the audience completely flood Stansbury Hall with “ISER SUCKS!” chants, Seth slowly pulls Heath up before he methodically and precisely lays in another right hand. Williams once again goes down, feeling his face as Iser stares down at him like a predator torturing its prey.
Axel Reid: Heath needs to keep his distance, but at the moment that seems unlikely to happen.
Tyron Bickerton: Seth has Heath right where he wants him... like a weak mouse in a snake pit.
Taking his time, Iser stalks Williams before he pulls him up yet again. Seth doesn’t even acknowledge the crowd or their controversial chants, instead focusing only on Heath and measuring up another right hand. It harshly connects with Heath’s forehead again, and already the effects are beginning to show in the Hardcore Hero’s eyes.
Ruby Parvati: Seth’s punches are like being hit with concrete. Eventually they’re going to do some serious damage.
Axel Reid: Given how Seth is putting those punches to good use against Heath’s head, it’s clear he wants to stun his opponent and make him light-headed from trauma.
The crowd response fails to cease as Seth pulls Heath back to a vertical base, giving his foe a knee to the stomach for added misery. But surprisingly, Williams recovers just enough to lash out and chop Iser across the chest, eliciting a “Wooo” from the capacity crowd. It is but a temporary sting to the Deity of Destruction, but the following punch isn’t, struck by Heath against Seth’s ear!
Tyron Bickerton: Is he right in the head? Does he even know what he’s doing in there?
Axel Reid: Getting Seth off-balance could be his key to victory, Tyron, especially if he bursts an eardrum!
Ruby Parvati: If he doesn’t, he’s just annoyed Seth more!
Heath quickens his pace as he lands more jabs to Seth, being given an encouraging response from the fans! However, before Heath can really get back into his stride, Seth steps forward and clotheslines him off the canvas, laying out the Hardcore Hero yet again!
Tyron Bickerton: Just as I expected! You can’t fight what can fight you better, a lesson that he is going to learn at Heatstroke against me!
Applying a third headlock to Heath, Iser slams his knee into his abdomen again while he keeps him under control. This leads to Seth forcing Heath into the corner from the headlock, keeping him in place with his elbow pressed against his neck. Seconds later, Seth removes the elbow… only to swing his arm forward and connect with a brutalizing chop!
Ruby Parvati: You could hear that chop from the highest stands in this building!
Axel Reid: Seth is deadly proficient at hurting opponents with his hands. He doesn’t even need to use weapons in order to do major damage. He has a keen eye and a very good understanding of the human body.
Tyron Bickerton: The only thing Heath knows about the human body is what parts are used to digest food and prescription medication, and what he can do with the thing between his legs.
Further chops batter Heath’s chest from Iser, causing the crowd to boo heavily. Once again remaining ignorant of them, Iser times another punch to occur where it hurts most, landing it perfectly and nearly driving Heath into a seated position. With Williams still standing, despite being slumped against the turnbuckle pads, Iser grabs his arm and performs an Irish Whip… only to turn it into a Short-Arm Clothesline!
Ruby Parvati: Heath must be dazed and confused by now. That should give Iser enough time to finish him off!
Tyron Bickerton: He could be done right now, Ruby!
Noticing how delirious Heath is, Iser falls to the canvas and covers the Hardcore Hero. He fails to hook the leg as the referee comes in for the count…
ONE!
TWO!
No, Heath gets his shoulder up for a kick-out.
Axel Reid: But it is not to be for Iser. Heath still has a lot of fight left in him.
Tyron Bickerton: Do I really need to remind you of how stubborn Heath is? He will willingly sacrifice his body and his mind just to win, not even thinking about the consequences!
Teaching Heath a lesson in simplistic violence, Iser begins to grind his exposed knee brace onto Heath’s forehead, bringing out yells and grunts of pain from the Hardcore Hero. The referee bides his time stepping in, but he finally does when Iser applies a blatant choke, making sure Heath is staring directly at him as he cuts off the oxygen from his brain. The referee slaps at Iser’s arms, forcing the Deity of Destruction to stop and glare coldly at the official. Words are exchanged between the two, boiling down to obeying the rules and not getting too aggressive.
Tyron Bickerton: How many pills do you think Heath will take after this match is over?
Ruby Parvati: A whole bunch of them, I think!
Axel Reid: You two disappoint me
Tyron Bickerton: Oh do I disappoint you, Axel? What else do I have to prove to you, huh? Do you want me to beat the Xcel Champion, because I did that!
Axel Reid: That isn’t what I…
Tyron Bickerton: Then be quiet and show me the respect I deserve.
Meanwhile, Iser has shifted his attention to Heath’s right leg. He takes hold of the supportive limb and raises it above the canvas, only to drop his weight onto the knee joint with an elbow drop. Heath immediately sits up from the pain, clenching his teeth and being unable to stop Iser as his adversary stands up, keeping a hold of his leg, and doing it again. After a third elbow drop, Iser wraps his legs around the lower part and bends it upwards, listening to Heath’s grunts and yells as the latter claws for an escape.
Axel Reid: If Iser takes out Heath’s legs, that will vastly remove his most potent attacks from his arsenal.
Tyron Bickerton: It’s a clever strategy from Seth. Eliminate a body part and weaken your opponent until you can target something else.
Iser wrenches on the leg and leans backwards, causing Heath to also fall backwards onto the canvas from the pain. With both shoulders down, the referee decides to count what he perceives to be a pinning move from Iser…
ONE!
TWO!
Heath quickly sits up and breaks the count, at the same time grabbing a hold of Seth’s head with his outstretched arm. He uses his other arm to pummel Seth’s head, being given joyous cheers from the crowd as the watch the hometown wrestler get battered!
Axel Reid: Heath fighting back now, and it’s a good thing he had the reach to attack Iser as he is doing!
Ruby Parvati: But that leg is still bent upward, even as he’s striking Seth! He could inadvertently do more damage to himself this way!
Tyron Bickerton: Trust Heath to do something so stupid…
Iser lets go of Heath’s leg and rolls away, recovering from the punches against his head as Heath tends to his knee. Moments later, Heath pushes his way upward as Iser rises and calculates another form of offense, managing to stand on his weakened leg and catch Seth with a right hook. The Deity of Destruction falters, giving Heath just enough time to get in a strong kick against Iser’s knee. It does not bring his opponent down, but it is enough to deter Iser and allow Heath to strike out with more jabs and hooks!
Axel Reid: And back to the brawling we go!
Tyron Bickerton: Heath cannot win this! He’s too deluded to understand that!
Finishing off his melee, Heath boots Iser in the stomach, forcing his opponent to lean forward and catch his breath. Seizing the opportunity, Heath then bounces off the ropes and sluggishly runs forward, yet he is able to leap up at the right time and carry his momentum across into a Bulldog! Listening to the crowd cheering him on, Heath decides to reward them with a brief pose before he heads to the corner. He mounts the ropes and rests on the second level, only spending a second or two on that point before he jumps off and crashes onto Iser with a leg drop!
Tyron Bickerton: I can’t stand his arrogance!
Ruby Parvati: You and me both!
Axel Reid: Unfortunately for you two his arrogance could have given him the determination to keep Iser under control! And now we have a cover!
Heath covers Iser with a hook of the far leg…
ONE!
TWO!
No, Iser powers upward to break the count.
Heath wipes his brow and adjusts his jaw, remaining on his backside for a little while until he returns to a vertical base. Operating on his known tolerance for pain, he hobbles on his leg towards the corner once again. The crowd anticipate another flying attack as they stand from their seats, watching the Hardcore Hero climb higher this time to the top rope.
Tyron Bickerton: He always has to show off his athletic prowess, doesn’t he?
Axel Reid: If anything, he’s using what he’s best at to keep Seth Iser grounded.
Ruby Parvati: Except Seth is getting back up right now. Look at those eyes.
Harsh intensity radiates from Iser’s eyes as he musters the energy to stand up, looking across at where Heath is. Williams is trying to secure his balance, but it is too little too late as Iser charges forward into the ropes, knocking Williams’ feet off the turnbuckle and crotching him in the process!
Tyron Bickerton: Well he won’t be using that disgusting thing between his legs again! That’s a positive for future generations!
Axel Reid: You can make light of that humiliating situation, but you can’t deny his will to fight.
Tyron Bickerton: I never have. Do you take me for a liar, Axel?
Remaining on ground level, Iser situates Heath onto his shoulder and grabs his wrestling gear, powering him off the top rope with a Vertical Suplex shortly thereafter. The impact drives the wind out of Williams, giving Iser another chance to succeed as he covers him with a lateral press…
ONE!
TWO!
NO! Heath manages to keep this Main Event going with another kick-out!
Axel Reid: Another kick out from Heath, but his grogginess is beginning to show.
Ruby Parvati: Not to mention how much pain he’s in due to having his genitals squashed!
Tyron Bickerton: Can you even say that word on this broadcast?
Ruby Parvati: As far as I know I can also say a mangled, useless reproductive organ!
Tyron Bickerton: Useless reproductive organ… that’s amazing.
Isolating Heath’s right leg again, Iser stomps on the knee joint before he lands a knee drop on the weakened area. Williams once again cannot counter these attacks as Iser drops another knee, this time keeping it in place and bending Heath’s leg upward. Despite being in tremendous pain, Heath shows a lot of heart as he reaches for the ropes, but they are unable to be grabbed.
Axel Reid: Seth Iser going back to that leg, and you have to wonder how Heath will fare if he can somehow break out of this submission.
Ruby Parvati: He’s not only torturing Heath. He’s demonstrating how he can tear apart a human body and make opponents scream for mercy. That’s something Matt Slater will know first-hand when he faces Seth in the Submission Match at Heatstroke.
Tyron Bickerton: It’s mastered from years of training and practice, the ability to bring down someone with the most basic of moves. I’m enjoying the look on Heath’s face!
The crowd clap and stomp their feet, taking a stand against Iser and simultaneously helping Heath to build his resilience and escape. Still grunting and whimpering from the pain, Heath begins to drag himself towards the ropes with Iser in tow. He refuses to quit as the referee questions him, dragging himself closer even as Iser applies more pressure. With one last valiant drag, Heath finally collapses to the mat and extends his arms out behind him… grabbing the bottom rope with both hands and forcing the break!
Axel Reid: Heath made it! He showed great determination there, but now he will have to contend with Iser with only one good leg.
Tyron Bickerton: Nothing good will remain of him when I’m done with him in our Casket Match.
Abiding by the rules, Seth lets go of Heath and sits up with frustration exuding from his every pore. Williams tends to his leg with urgency, bringing it up to his chest and gritting his teeth. This unfortunately leaves him susceptible to the aggravated Deity of Destruction, who proceeds to bring Heath up on his good leg, attend to the other and lift him up into a Shin Breaker! Heath yells out from the attack, but Iser is not done. Keeping Heath beside him, Iser crosses his leg over Heath’s and trips him backwards with a Russian Leg Sweep.
Ruby Parvati: People often forget how good Iser is as a technical wrestler. He’s not just good at punching wrestlers in the face.
Axel Reid: And we can see that now as Iser locks in a Sleeper Hold on Heath. Those strikes from earlier may make this a quicker passing for him.
Tyron Bickerton: This won’t be the only time Heath will slip into darkness. The lights will go out again for him at Heatstroke, and he’ll get to rest inside a Casket as I stand on top of it the winner!
Heath struggles to resist the sleeper hold, but he is fading quickly due to Iser’s large forearms. Seth twists Williams’ neck ever so slightly to secure a better position, which also aids him in quickening Heath’s unconsciousness. The referee remains on standby, kneeling in front of Heath and asking him if he gives up.
Tyron Bickerton: It won’t be long now. We can wrap this Main Event up in a minute or so.
To Iser’s chagrin, the crowd are on hand to support Heath again, clapping their hands and chanting his name. Nonetheless, Heath steadily becomes less active, only making slight movements as he closes his eyes.
Ruby Parvati: I think he’s out!
Axel Reid: You could be right, Ruby.
Iser tells the official to count him out, and the man complies. He grabs Heath’s wrist and raises his arm up, letting it drop towards his side…
But Heath snaps back into action and swings his arm up, eliciting loud cheers from the crowd as he struggles to escape the sleeper hold again!
Axel Reid: No! He isn’t out yet!
Tyron Bickerton: You only know when he’s out cold after you see all the empty pill bottles next to his bed!
Being driven by adrenaline, Heath methodically shifts his body and rises to his feet, balancing his weight on his good leg as he uses the toes of his weak log to support him. Seth tries to wrench Heath against him again, but Williams connects with a solid elbow strike. Another hits, and then another, until finally Seth releases Heath from his grasp and tends to his side.
Axel Reid: Heath has gotten his second wind! The adrenaline is coursing through his body!
Tyron Bickerton: Hit him with another right hand, Seth!
Instinctively, Iser does just that… but Heath dodges the punch and connects with his own jab! A flurry of jabs rattle Seth as the crowd go ballistic, seeing Heath fighting back on one leg! He hops in place as Iser sways… until he lightly jumps and turns his body, driving his feet into Seth’s knee and cutting the Deity of Destruction down!
Ruby Parvati: Iser’s knee has been taken out!
Axel Reid: Heath needs to capitalise on this! He can’t focus on recovering when he has Iser in this vulnerable state!
Hopping his way to the corner, Heath groggily jumps on each of the three ropes until he makes it to the top. Suddenly Iser rises to his feet and pursues Heath… but the Hardcore Hero, without even turning around, jumps off and crashes onto Seth with the Whisper In The Wind!
Axel Reid: Whisper In The Wind connects!
Tyron Bickerton: I’m suddenly feeling my lunch churning in my stomach. This is making me sick!
Heath pounces on Iser for another cover…
ONE!
TWO!
NO!
Iser manages to get his shoulder up before the referee can hit the count of three!
Ruby Parvati: Seth still has energy, Tyron!
Tyron Bickerton: He does, and he also has boiling anger… just like I do.
Both men rise to their feet at roughly the same time, with Heath catching Iser with more strikes. After another kick to the stomach, Heath hops his way to the ropes, springing off them and hopping forward for a jumping lariat… except Iser catches Heath and falls backwards at the same time, planting him on the top rope with a Stun Gun!
Tyron Bickerton: Now that’s what I call a counter!
Axel Reid: Heath’s neck has now been damaged after that Stun Gun from Seth Iser. With every chance Heath gets to succeed, another part of his body gets targeted and damaged.
Ruby Parvati: And that is why Seth Iser is the Deity of Destruction!
Fuelled by malice, Iser drags Heath to his knees and nails him with another right hand. The crowd boo immensely as Iser lays in another right hand, causing Heath to lean away dazed. Realizing how weak Heath has become, Seth pulls Heath further upward and grabs his leg, setting the latter up for a Dragon Screw. But that is when Heath shakes off the cobwebs and jumps up, catching Iser in the side of his head with an Enzuigiri!
Axel Reid: Enzuigiri from Heath! He isn’t done yet!
Ruby Parvati: Look at the marks those punches have left on Heath’s face!
Tyron merely growls into the headset as Heath pushes his way up to his feet, hopping his way to the ropes and slumping against them. He keeps his eyes on Seth while listening to the crowd chant his name, knowing he is the man they want to see as the victor. Not wanting to let them down, Heath jabs at Iser and grabs his arm, planning to whip him into the corner. The referee moves behind the pair as the whip occurs, but Iser reverses, turning himself around at the same time to pull Heath towards the other corner… and straight into the unsuspecting referee!
Axel Reid: Oh great! Now we have a referee down!
Tyron Bickerton: The official should have been more careful where he stood. That wasn’t Iser’s fault!
Oblivious to the referee being laid out, Heath stumbles about before he gathers his bearings… only it happens too late, with Iser grabbing him and planting him to the canvas with the Pillar of Truth, otherwise known as a spinning Sidewalk Slam!
Ruby Parvati: And there goes Heath straight onto the canvas!
Tyron Bickerton: That’s where he belongs! Thing is, Seth needs to wake that damn referee up.
Axel Reid: That’s if Iser can even get off his back to do just that!
Succumbing to fatigue, Iser rests beside Heath as the crowd cheer and boo at the same time. The official is still down too, although he gradually feels his head after a minute or so. Eventually, Iser steadily sits up while Heath rolls onto his front. Both men get to a standing position again, and Iser readies his right hand.
Ruby Parvati: This one is going to hurt!
Iser advances with the fist… but Heath blocks it! Hobbling on his good leg, Heath nails Seth with a right hook, then a left hook, then a right hook again! The crowd thunderously cheer as Iser sways, and Heath lets out a yell of defiance! Planting his bad foot down for security, Heath begins to kick away at Iser with his good leg, doing six kicks up his body before he channels the seventh and final strike directly into his opponent’s head! The Seven Deadly Sins connect successfully… and Iser stumbles backwards… only to flop forward and collapse onto his face!
Axel Reid: Seth Iser is down! This could be Heath’s moment!
As the crowd come unglued, Heath painfully yet enthusiastically hops his way to the corner. Suddenly, the sounds of a headset being dropped onto the announce desk take over… and it is until Heath stops and looks towards the commentators that we discover Tyron has left his seat and is confronting his former friend!
Ruby Parvati: This is getting more interesting now!
Axel Reid: No, Tyron is just distracting Heath so Seth can recover! That’s all he’s doing!
Heath challenges Tyron to enter the ring, but the I4NI Champion simply shoves his belt towards Heath and tells him he’s going to rot in hell at Heatstroke. Heath leans over the ropes and swipes at Tyron, who backs off and screams towards his current nemesis.
Axel Reid: The intensity is off the charts… wait, here comes Seth Iser!
Having recovered in the background, Iser comes after Heath from behind… and kicks him directly in the groin for a low blow!
Ruby Parvati: Now they definitely won’t be working after this match!
Axel Reid: That was a blatant shot… and Tyron is laughing!
Placing the championship back on his shoulder, Tyron watches on gleefully as Iser pulls a devastated Heath into a front facelock… whereby he plants him viciously with the DEPRIVATION DDT! Once it connects, Tyron rushes towards the referee and yells at him to get up, causing the referee to stir and look around at the ensuing action!
Axel Reid: This isn’t fair! This is daylight robbery!
Iser covers Heath with both legs hooked as the referee crawls over, being commanded to move faster by Bickerton! Soon enough he starts the count…
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!!!
DING DING DING!!!
Axel Reid: What a dirty way to win a Main Event! That was despicable!
Tyron smirks as he pats the I4NI Championship with his hand, staring at the defeated Heath as Iser sits up and spreads his arms victoriously. The referee groggily gets to his feet and, while feeling his head, takes Iser’s wrist and declares him the victor, all towards a crowd that is beyond livid!
Jerry Heisenberg: Here is your winner… SETH ISER!!!
Axel Reid: Talk about sabotage! That was called disrespect! Tyron is not the man he claims to be, and I stand by that statement!
Ruby Parvati: Seth Iser did this all by himself, Axel! He didn’t need Tyron to offer any help!
Axel Reid: But Seth landed a low blow on Heath! He blatantly cheated before hitting the Deprivation DDT! This is not how you should win a match… certainly not a Main Event!
Seth Iser taunts the crowd as he leans on the ropes, scouring the masses incredulously as they insult him from the stands and from ringside. Meanwhile, Tyron enters the ring under the bottom rope and stands over Heath, raising the I4NI Championship up in the air to another chorus of boos.
Ruby Parvati: This is what we could be seeing at Heatstroke in Norfolk on August 18th, Axel. Soak it all in!
Axel Reid: If these two really want to be remembered in a positive way, then they’ll have to win the old-fashioned way. They won’t gain any respect the way they’re conducting themselves and how they’re becoming successful, that’s for damn sure.
Tyron gets onto his knees and shouts at Heath that he will never, ever be a champion again, and he will never defeat him. Tyron then shoves the championship into his former friend’s face, telling him it is the closest he will ever get to glory before he is locked away in a casket forever.
Axel Reid: Well… it is a poor scene to end Breakthrough #49 on… but I’m afraid this is how we will depart, ladies and gentleman. This has been Axel Reid…
Ruby Parvati: And Ruby Parvati!
Axel Reid: And we will see…
Suddenly, Axel abruptly ends his parting message as the crowd inexplicably cheer thunderously. Taken aback by the commotion, Tyron stands up and spins around… only to be levelled by a flying forearm from MATT SLATER!
Axel Reid: WAIT A MINUTE! MATT SLATER IS HERE!
Ruby Parvati: GET THE SECURITY NOW!
Tyron barrels out of the ring with his championship as Slater hurriedly gets back to his feet, where he is able to block off a right hand from Seth Iser and retaliate with his own punches! Both men trade blows like they’re possessed by fighting spirits, and it continues as the surrounding area quickly becomes filled with rushing security officials and other staff members!
Axel Reid: SLATER! ISER! THIS IS WAR! A WAR THAT WILL COME TO AN END AT HEATSTROKE!
Slater takes a heavy right hand from the Deity of Destruction, but he much fresher than his adversary, bounding back to his feet and taking Seth down with a spear! The security slide into the ring and separate both men, even as they try and strike one another amongst the mass of bodies!
Ruby Parvati: We need more people! They’re still fighting!
Meanwhile, Tyron is busy quarrelling with some security officials, telling them he shouldn’t be reprimanded for something he didn’t do. As this goes on, the crowd cheer again as they see a recovered Heath scramble to the corner.
Axel Reid: Now Heath is back up!
The Hardcore Hero scales the ropes and balances himself on top… and once Tyron sees him, it is too late. The I4NI Champion attempts to protect himself as Heath goes flying with a diving splash, TAKING OUT TYRON AND THE SECURITY TEAM BELOW!
Ruby Parvati: THIS IS INSANE!
Slater and Iser break away from their deterrents and attack each other again, doing so as Heath mounts Tyron and pummels him with punches! The I4NI Champion manages to get away from Williams, kicking out at his former friend and scrambling for safety!
Axel Reid: Slater vs Iser, Heath vs Tyron! Heatstroke beckons for these four men, but they can’t wait until August 18th! But we have to go!
Ruby Parvati: Now?! But they’re still…
