Today was the day. Valerie's heart was pumping faster in her chest as she sat in the waiting room. It had been at least three months since Valerie last stepped foot into a wrestling ring. Her body ached for the punishment. She was starting to get a little complacent while sitting in her home. There is only so much television a girl can watch without sending herself into the looney bin.
Valerie was sitting patiently in the waiting room, thumbing through a magazine and thinking about seeing her friends again. "Valerie Beasley," calls out the nurse as Valerie swings her head around towards the small doorway. The nurse didn't look to be any taller than 5'4 and probably weighed a buck ten. Valerie places the magazine back on the table and stands up to her feet.
The room is quiet as Valerie greets the nurse in the small hallway. She follows her down the far corridor into a vacant room. "How's your knee Valerie?" asks the nurse as she begins taking Valerie vitals. She first checks her breathing making sure her lungs were still working properly. After a few quick, short breaths, the nurse checks Valerie's blood pressure. A smile forms across the lips of the nurse as she jots down a few notes into Valerie's file.
"The doctor will be right in," says the nurse as she leaves Valerie alone in the small room. Valerie didn't mind as she took the time to admire the artwork strung along the walls. She was taking in the room when the door slowly creeks open. Dr. Whitehall, the main knee specialist in this clinic, steps into the room. He was wearing your typical white coat over a denim button down shirt tucked into brown khakis and alligator skin boots in his feet. "Hello Dr. Whitehall," greets Valerie as she takes a seat in one of the chairs.
"Good afternoon Valerie. How is your knee feeling?" he greets followed by the question of the day. Valerie gave her knee a quick bend as she looks at the doctor. "My knee is feeling great doctor. I did a full fledge workout two days ago and my knee held up pretty good," she answers as Dr. Whitehall examines her knee a little more. "I bet you're just itching to get back into the ring," he says while showing a smirk. Valerie gave a quick nod if her head. "You have no idea," she replies as he gives her a knee a small pat.
He takes a quick glance around the room and noticed Todd wasn't with her. "Where is Todd? He should be listening to this great news," asks Whitehall as Valerie just shrugs her shoulders. "I have no clue. He hasn't been returning any of my phone calls, text messages or my tweets," answers Valerie as concern fills her voice. She has been worried about Todd ever since he kept getting strange phone calls at night.
"Im sure he will turn up eventually," says Whitehall as he makes a few more notes in her file. "Well, I say you are good to go kick some butt," he says while standing up to his feet. Valerie follows suit as they walk out of the room together. "So did you let Owen Gonsalves or Matt Slater that you were clear to compete," inquires Whitehall as Valerie nods her head.
"They already know. I kind of made an unexpected appearance last week on Breakthrough Fifty," she states while turning the corner towards the side exit. "So who you facing in your return match," wonders Whitehall as Valerie smiles real wide. "Im facing another bimbo with a queen complex. Her name is Dani," responds Valerie as Whitehall opens the side door. "Dont make it easy for her," he says as Valerie gives him a look as she steps out into the main hallway. He chuckles while closing the door. Valerie shakes her head while making her way towards the elevator. As Valerie waits for the elevator she begins to do some heavy thinking.
Here I go again making my grand return after being on the shelf for a second time. The first time wasn't planned neither was the second. I'm glad my knee is at one hundred percent. I sure missed a lot while being out. I missed getting to say goodbye to Kelsey before she moved. I missed finding out that my good friend Zahara was engaged to Katarina. Being injured sucks because you can't do anything. What makes it worse is that since my debut in the Mixed Martial Arts world, I am on my own. I don't know if I should put a missing persons report out for Todd or continue doing what he would want me to do.
That's what I'm going to do. I am going to make the best out of this situation and come away with a hard fought victory. The only problem I have is there's someone standing in my way and her name is Dazi. Please forgive, I can't pronounce your last name nor do I care to learn it. I don't know what kind of human being dropped you on your head Dazi but calling yourself the queen will get you absolutely nowhere with me. Calling yourself the bearer of darkness will not make this night any less of a challenge for you. Unlike you, I haven't competed in that ring since Fate of the Gods when I took .PAAK to the cleaners.
You see Dazi she too, thought she was this unstoppable force who could just bulldoze her way through everyone. She did do that but her bulldozer ran into a thick piece of concrete. The concrete was me Dazi. Yes, you have a lot of accomplishments on your résumé but what does that have to do with our match. I will tell you. It has nothing to do with our match because those accomplishments were prior to you joining VoW. Now I don't have the right to say this but Dazi you are completely ass backwards.
You are already placing this in the win column but you are failing miserably at using logic. You see in order for you win handedly is by having me lie down but I got news for you. I don't lay down for no one. Don't believe just ask everyone in the locker room. They'll tell you that I'm a touch mamacita when I get going. I can adapt to anything you throw at me Dazi but I can dish right back out. From what I can gather this will be your second match in the company and you are still seeking that first win. Well, I can assure you that won't come at my expense.
Im not returning just to lose my first match back. I'm coming to once again make my mark in this company. I meant what I said last week that I will take no prisoners. I don't care what kind of magic ball you hold in your hand Dazi but come Breakthrough Fifty One you will need all the magical, mystical help you can find. Because you are locking horns with the baddest bitch from the west coast. You may call yourself the queen but after we tangle. You will be just another name added to the laundry list of those who fell victim to their own self worth. Confidence is great but once you turn it into arrogance. All bets are off and trust me Dazi, you are going to wish my name wasn't drawn next to yours.
I will see you at Breakthrough Fifty One as I look to do what I do best. Which is simply breaking a bitch. Good luck Dazi because you will need it.
Beware The Fist.

The elevator ding as the doors open and Valerie steps inside. She presses a button as she shows a smile while the doors close behind her.[/div]
