Seth Iser Vs. Reya Serra
The lights dim down as "Gehenna" by Slipknot begins to play. Soon enough, Seth Iser slowly walks through the curtain with that familiar scowl on his face. He absorbs the reaction he gets from the crowd as he slowly walks down to the ring. The fans he accused of being nothing short of parasites boo him horrendously, and Seth Iser bad-mouths them as only he can in response.
Jerry Heisenberg: The following match is a singles match, scheduled for one fall! First to the ring ... he stands at 6'5 and weighs in tonight at 250lbs. Hailing from Morgantown, West Virginia ... he is the "Deity of Destruction", SETH ISER!!!
Axel Reid: Earlier tonight, Seth Iser came out to address his recent history with Reya Serra, and in the process, he enraged these wrestling fans that are in attendance. He called Reya a fraud, a sham, a woman that hides behind false beliefs. He also claimed that HE is the best wrestler in the world at this current time, and he has vowed to prove it against a woman that should not be underestimated.
Ruby Parvati: He has quite the package to get the job done, wouldn't you say, Axel?
Axel Reid: In terms of his wrestling ability he can hold his own against the best of them...
Ruby Parvati: But he can get the job DONE ... if you catch my drift?
Axel Reid: I ... get what you're saying, Ruby. But saying that, Seth Iser has done some malicious things in the past few months, some things that these fans clearly remember and are viciously heckling him for.
Ruby Parvati: Even if his actions were malicious, they still helped him in the long run. A man with that kind of forward thinking deserves to be appreciated in some way ... and I can think of a few ways that gratitude can be offered...
Axel Reid: What are you going to give him, a Chuck E Cheese token?
Ruby Parvati: I am above that mind-numbing place. But if he has a ticket, I know where he can punch it and gain his reward.
Iser rolls underneath the bottom rope and performs a crucifix pose in the center of the ring which brings the lights back on. He then slinks to the corner in a seated position, waiting the arrival of Reya Serra.
Axel Reid: He disgusts me, but he does look ready.
Ruby Parvati: Most of the men I've met can't get ready fast enough. He certainly knows when to get in the zone when it's time to play.
Without warning, all of the lights go out. For a few moments, there is nothing but silence and darkness…
Suddenly, "Rise" by Skillet begins playing and an all-white pyrotechnic display goes off at the top of the stage. As the display comes to a conclusion out walks none other than The Herald of Holiness herself, Reya Serra!
Axel Reid: And here she comes!
The Herald, wearing skin tight white pants and a matching top makes her way down the ramp with her friend Paxar Vega following behind her wearing a similar dark blue ensemble. The two women wave and give high fives to members of the crowd.
Jerry Heisenberg: And his opponent ... she stands at 5'9 and weighs in tonight at 135lbs. Hailing from Los Angeles, California ... she is the "Herald of Holiness", REYA SERRA!!!
Axel Reid: Once upon a time, a stable known as The Court brought these two together. They shared a common goal, to keep the spirit of wrestling alive. But whereas Reya remained light and pure, Seth Iser gradually turned dark and vile. This will be a contest of good versus evil, at least in my eyes, and you have to believe that after what Seth Iser said, Reya Serra is determined to prove that her values are true.
Ruby Parvati: Such a pretty little thing she is. It would be a shame for her well-toned body to be ravaged and torn tonight by the masculine physique that Seth Iser has.
Axel Reid: Are you being sarcastic, Ruby?
Ruby Parvati: Never...
Axel Reid: So you don't like Reya Serra then?
Ruby Parvati: She's too nice for my liking. That sweet exterior of hers turns me sour.
Axel Reid: And what do you think of Paxar?
Ruby Parvati: She has an annoying voice. And have you seen her sense of dress? No coordination whatsoever!
Axel Reid: Well the fans seem to like them both. This Auditorium is packed with supporters.
Ruby Parvati: Only because they fail to see that she leads a path of blind, blissful faith that will soon be her undoing...
Axel Reid: That was ... a rather poetic response.
Ruby Parvati: I aim to please with my mind AND body, thank you very much.
Reya slides into the ring, with Paxar remaining at ringside. As she stands in the middle of the ring, Reya bows her head in prayer. Eventually she turns toward Iser, who begins to stand up in the corner. The two former associates exchange glances, neither of them breaking.
Axel Reid: There is no Vincent Moretti out here tonight with Seth Iser, and I'm sure that was a decision which benefits the Deity. He wants to cement what he spoke of earlier, that he can be the best by himself, and not have to rely on his friend for support.
Ruby Parvati: I'm sure he's more than capable of beating Reya tonight. She has no idea what she is in for.
Axel Reid: I'm sure she is, Ruby. Both of these competitors know what the other is capable of. Reya is technically sound and quick, and Iser prefers to use his fists. However, Iser also knows the basics as well as he can throw a punch, and his arsenal can be rather deadly if you get caught.
Ruby Parvati: Let the mayhem commence!
The bell sounds, being followed by encouraging comments from the crowd; directed at Reya, of course. Paxar watches closely as Reya advances toward Iser. He remains steadfast, studying Reya's movements as she lingers in the center of the ring. Suddenly Iser bounds forward, yet he stops abruptly. The hasty movement forces Reya backward defensively, retreating towards her corner with quick steps. Iser smirks sinisterly, having expected that kind of reaction. He knows she will try and avoid him and use her speed advantage, but he also knows that it will take several shots to bring him down and offer her a chance at glory.
Axel Reid: The mind games have already begun with Seth Iser feigning a quick attack. Reya looks confident, but there does seem to be some concern there.
Ruby Parvati: She should be concerned. Her Lord and Savior can't help her in this one.
Iser steps forward, narrowing the gap between them. An insulting remark flows from the crowd, garnering Iser's attention for a split-second. He retaliates with a middle finger directed at that approximate location, which generates more boos and equal gestures from the masses.
Axel Reid: Now that is just unacceptable.
Knowing this might be her only good opportunity, Reya rushes forward and lightly leaps into the air, stretching her legs out and aiming them at Iser's knee. The dropkick attempt is spotted, however, and Iser side-steps. Reya lands on the canvas and hastily recovers from her mistimed attack, but Iser is already thinking ahead. He grabs Reya in a headlock and cinches the hold in tight, falling to one knee in order to have as much control as possible.
Ruby Parvati: Look at how Iser has Reya in that headlock. It's like a vice grip. Her head might explode from the pressure!
Axel Reid: I'm fairly certain it won't explode into messy chunks, Ruby, but she may suffer a cauliflower ear. As I said before, Iser is fully aware of the basics, and as you can see from the way he is handling that hold, Reya cannot do anything but wait for Iser to release her. If he decides to.
Using his strength, Iser powers up and throws Reya over his hip, keeping her head controlled as he executes a headlock takedown. Iser lies beside Reya's grounded body with both of his shoulders up. Reya, meanwhile, barely has one up, preventing a count from the referee. Her arm reaches toward the ceiling as she fights Iser's weight, doing all she can to avoid being pressed down and having to use enough energy to kick-out and continue the match.
Axel Reid: Some of these fans do not look too thrilled at what Seth Iser is doing, but he is employing a smart strategy here. The more Reya fights the headlock, the more energy she loses. And once she gets out, IF she can get out, she might be too exhausted to get any offence in.
Ruby Parvati: This is why Seth Iser has the tools to be what he says, the best wrestler in the world.
After tightening the hold, Iser grimaces as he forces his body down onto Reya's. As expected, Reya's shoulder goes down to the mat, and the referee is in a perfect position to count the pin attempt!
ONE!
TW--
Reya moves her body to the side and raises her shoulder, beginning to breath heavily as the headlock drains her meticulously. After a while, Iser decides to stand back up, maintaining the headlock as Reya clubs his back with her hand. These shots do not seem to take effect, and Iser merely throws Reya to the canvas a second time, releasing the headlock mid-move as he does so.
Axel Reid: It appears that Iser is done with the headlock, and Reya looks flustered already, despite her stamina conditioning.
Ruby Parvati: She has no stamina? No wonder she's still single...
Showing courage, Reya battles back to her feet, but Iser is already waiting. He grabs Reya in a front facelock and lifts her up for a suplex, delaying the move for a few seconds before he drops back and takes Reya down with him. Reya arches her spine from the impact, and her eyes seem to cast dizziness from the way she has been manipulated thus far. The crowd, not liking how things are going, begin to chant "ISER SUCKS" in unison. Usually Iser would react with a sneer, but instead he keeps his focus on Reya, grabbing her by her white attire, hoisting her off the canvas in a dead-lift, and rolling her under the ropes to the outside.
Axel Reid: Well that wasn't very sportsmanlike, even though Iser is abiding by the rules.
Ruby Parvati: He does what he wants, Axel. That's something you should learn. When you want something, you take it. You hold it close ... and you never let it go until you're ... satisfied...
Axel Reid: Er ... thanks for that, Ruby.
Paxar keeps her distance from Reya as Iser remains inside the ring, although her expression says that she is feeling uncomfortable and wants to tend to her friend. As the Iser chants escalate, the Deity of Destruction looks to the ropes in thought, and then to a recovering Reya. Suddenly he breaks off into a run, heading towards the ropes that were behind him. Sensing something unique and extraordinary, the fans in attendance begin standing up rapidly, wanting to see up close what Iser will do.
Axel Reid: Wait, what's this?
With enough momentum on his side, Iser runs across the ring towards Reya. Then he completes his chosen action ... sliding under the ropes to a chorus of boos! As Iser soaks in the negative reaction, he grabs Reya in a side headlock again and sits down on it outside the ring, raising a middle finger again to the fans at ringside as they tell him to perform an explicit action, in no uncertain terms.
Ruby Parvati: I must say, that was rather amusing.
Axel Reid: Seth Iser completely tricked these fans into thinking he would do something risky and flashy, but instead he made them look like fools. I'm glad he didn't leap over the ropes onto Reya, as everyone suspected, but he did prove just how much he hates these people, and they hate him back in kind!
Paxar shouts at Reya to hang on, and Iser stares at Paxar coldly. Eventually he stands up and begins to walk Reya around the ring, as if showing off his headlock skills to the audience as he tours the ringside area with his opponent.
Axel Reid: I don't think I've ever seen this before. Seth Iser is literally walking Reya around the ring in the headlock, showing the move off to the crowd as if it is a valuable item on sale!
Ruby Parvati: I wouldn't call Reya valuable. I'd call her overpriced...
Soon enough, Iser shakes his head at a distressed fan and rolls Reya back into the ring. He follows suit wisely, collecting Reya from behind and planting her down with a Belly to Back Suplex! Reya folds up near the ropes, and Iser is forced to pull her away from them to avoid a convenient breakage of his pinfall. Then he covers her, looking at the referee all the while as he counts at a deliberate pace.
ONE!
TWO!
Reya gets a shoulder up, which fails to infuriate Iser. Instead, he simply sits Reya up and places her in a grounded Sleeper Hold, keeping her controlled as much as he has done from the start.
Axel Reid: Iser must feel as fresh as a daisy in comparison to Reya Serra. Her face is already turning red from oxygen deprivation and fatigue.
Ruby Parvati: And it's only been about five minutes since the match began. She needs to build her stamina up in a more pleasurable way ... if she can manage it.
Axel Reid: And that has absolutely nothing to do with what Seth Iser has done?
Ruby Parvati: Absolutely not.
Axel Reid: You sound so spiteful.
Ruby Parvati: I'm just sharing the facts. Any woman knows that results come from constant repetition. That's what Reya needs. She needs a solid routine that works her entire body, and if she wasn't such a goody-two-shoes, I'd give her some tips on how she can really get her juices flowing!
Axel Reid: I'm sure she has a strict training regimen that requires concentration and focus...
Ruby Parvati: And has that helped? Look at her. She looks like my friend after she completed a marathon session with her favourite toys!
Now fully behind Reya, the crowd clap and stomp their feet, hoping to will Reya back into the match. Paxar does the same thing, using the apron to generate more sound. Showing her toughness, Reya starts to shift her body, attempting to loosen Iser's grip that remains around her neck. Eventually, Reya twists her hips and resides on one knee, forcing Iser to lean over to keep the Sleeper applied. With desire in her eyes, Reya valiantly gets to her feet and hammers Iser in the stomach with her elbow! Iser grunts, but he holds on. Reya dishes out another elbow, and Iser weakens. Two more elbow strikes finally break the Sleeper Hold, and Iser feels his stomach, winded from the power behind Reya's attacks! Reya feels her neck tentatively as Iser storms towards her, but Reya sees him coming. She drops down and locks his left leg with both of hers, tripping Iser over with a drop toe hold, and as Iser pushes himself up, residing on his hands and knees, Reya performs a measured dropkick to the side of his head, causing the crowd to cheer and applaud!
Axel Reid: And finally Reya gets some offense in! Iser is down, but Reya needs to build her energy back up in order to survive!
Lingering near the ropes for support, Reya tends to her neck and breathes deeply. Meanwhile Iser keeps his hand on the side of his face as he stands back up, sneering with anger at how Reya has treated him. Thinking quickly, Reya runs towards the Deity of Destruction. Iser throws a strong right hand, attempting to stop Reya in her tracks, but the Herald ducks under the swing, hitting the opposite ropes and using the momentum gained to leap up and connect with a flying dropkick to Iser's face! Iser falls backwards from the blow and rolls under the ropes to outside, making himself scarce from the combat zone as he feels his forehead.
Axel Reid: Did you see the elevation on that dropkick from Reya?! She took Iser right outside the ring with it, and Iser is now walking around the outside, not wanting to get caught by another strike!
The cameraman seems to get too close to Iser as he follows his path, nearly being struck by a wild back swing from the disgruntled veteran. He still covers his face with his hand, feeling the results of two dropkicks in a short amount of time. The fans insult him at ringside, but all Iser does is lean against the apron. But as the fans murmur loudly in anticipation, Iser gets away from the apron and turns around, only to see Reya diving on top of him after a crossbody plancha! Both competitors collapse to the floor, but it is Reya who recovers first, crawling away from Iser and gradually finding her feet!
Axel Reid: There was no sense of fear on that dive from Reya! Iser was completely taken off his feet, and now it is Reya who is in control!
Ruby Parvati: So she's not as submissive as I thought she would be. What a pity. Fighting a losing battle makes things worse.
Axel Reid: How can this be a losing battle for Reya when she resisted Iser's attacks from earlier? Reya is one of the best technical wrestlers around, and she knows what to do and how to get the best out of a situation!
Ruby Parvati: Seth Iser is just too strong for her to overcome, Axel. She will be bent and broken if she continues to act foolishly.
Reya returns to Iser and guides him up with her hands, rolling him into the ring shortly thereafter. Iser forcefully sits up as Reya enters, but the Herald flips over his body and snaps his neck down between his legs! After this uncommon manoeuvre, Reya covers Iser and hooks the inside leg, blowing her hair out of face as the referee counts!
ONE!
TWO!
Iser powers out with a strong kick-out, causing Reya to roll away. Iser then sits up again, growling through discomfort as Reya looks on. Using her extended knowledge of wrestling moves, Reya quickly grabs Iser's head as he begins to stand, twisting him around slightly and delivering a swinging neckbreaker! Once again Reya covers the Deity, hoping this time she can secure the victory!
ONE!
TWO!
Iser kicks out again with immense fury!
Axel Reid: Iser just has too much energy for Reya to keep him down.
Ruby Parvati: Clearly a man that can go for hours. I love it.
Paxar looks concerned outside the ring, but Reya has a different expression inside. She is weary yet persistent, biding her time as Iser recovers on the canvas. Soon enough, Reya moves towards her foe, but as she leans forward, Iser quickly jabs her in the eye with his thumb! Reya's long hair blocked the sight of the thumb from the referee, but the results are definitely noticeable. The crowd boo as Reya stumbles around, clearly in pain as she covers her eye with her hand.
Axel Reid: I think ... I think Iser just got Reya with a thumb to the eye! And here he claims he is the best wrestler in the world! How despicable!
Ruby Parvati: Use anything to your advantage, Axel. That's a life lesson everyone should learn.
Axel Reid: That's a terrible lesson! And now Iser is back on his feet!
Not knowing whereabouts she is, Reya cannot avoid the harsh boot that strikes her in the face from Iser's outstretched leg! Reya falls to the canvas, being accompanied by boos that flow throughout the Auditorium. Iser then presses his foot onto the back of Reya's neck for a brief moment before he drags her back up, keeping her stationary with his arm until he rears back and nearly flips Reya over with a short-arm clothesline!
Ruby Parvati: Wow, that had to hurt her poor, poor neck.
Axel Reid: More than likely! Reya left her feet after that clothesline!
Iser resists telling the fans what they can do with their chants and rolls Reya onto her back, covering her yet again as the referee counts!
ONE!
TWO!
THR--
NO! Reya exerts more energy with another kick-out, just before the count of three! Iser glances at the referee for some kind of confirmation, and when he gets two fingers, Iser uses a curse word that is indistinguishable.
Axel Reid: Seth Iser did not like that kick-out from Reya, but who would?
Ruby Parvati: I don't think any man likes a woman that refuses to remain on her back for more than three seconds, Axel. I'm sure you could keep me down for longer than that, though.
Axel Reid: Ahem...
After spending some time thinking about what to do, Iser finally decides to jog to the ropes and use them for momentum. As he gets near Reya, he jumps up, expecting to land on her throat with a Leg Drop. But the moment Iser is in the air, Reya rolls out of harm's way, making Iser land hard on the canvas!
Axel Reid: Wait, Reya just moved away from Iser's leg drop! Reya is not going to quit!
Obviously hurting from the mistake, Iser feels the back of his thigh, gradually getting back to his feet at the same time. Reya, meanwhile, pushes herself up, appearing haggard and slightly dazed. Once Iser turns towards Reya, the Herald aims a front kick at Iser's stomach. Iser catches her foot though, making Reya hop on the spot. But before Iser can do anything with her captured limb, Reya jumps up into the air and swings her other leg around, blasting Iser in the back of the head with an Enziguri!
Axel Reid: Enziguri! Enziguri!
The crowd cheer loudly as Iser stays frozen in place for a couple seconds, only to slow flop forward and crash down onto the canvas!
Axel Reid: Timber! And Seth Iser is down yet again!
Ruby Parvati: That was a lucky break for Reya...
Paxar claps wildly on the outside as she bounces up and down, begging Reya to make the cover. But Reya seems to have other ideas, moving towards the corner and scaling the ropes to the top.
Axel Reid: Reya is showing that her values are true! She is showing she has the heart to survive, the faith to persevere and remain above the darkness!
Perched on the top rope, Reya waits as Iser painfully gets back up to his feet. He staggers forward, closing the gap between himself and Reya. Knowing she has enough room, Reya flies off the top rope and grabs Iser in a front facelock, twisting her body on the way down and planting Iser with a Tornado DDT!
Axel Reid: Reya with a Tornado DDT! This could be it for the Deity of Destruction!
Reya pushes a weak Iser onto his back, covering him with a leg hooked as the referee gets into position!
ONE!
TWO!
THR--
NO! Iser shoots his arm up, lifting his shoulder off the canvas and avoiding defeat!
Ruby Parvati: No matter what Reya does, she cannot keep Seth Iser down for long.
Axel Reid: I think Reya can keep Iser down! She just needs to use whatever opportunities come her way!
Substantial rest follows the kick-out, with Reya and Iser breathing heavily. After a while, Reya slowly gets back to her feet, and Iser steadily follows suit. Since Reya reached her feet first, she has the advantage at this point. She chops away at Iser's chest, blistering him as best as she can, but Iser simply retaliates with a strong right hand, taking Reya down in one fell swoop and generating boos from the crowd in Minnesota!
Axel Reid: What a right hand from Iser! He has one of the strongest right hands in the business, and it is clear that he has had enough of the Herald!
With Reya looking worse for wear on the canvas, Iser grabs her by the hair and pulls her back to her feet. Once he grabs her wrist with his hand, Iser whips her strongly to the opposite ropes, and as Reya rebounds off them, Iser scoops Reya up and plants her with the Bossman Slam, a move that he calls the Pillar of Truth!
Axel Reid: Iser with a Powerslam, and I don't know if Reya has enough energy left to kick-out.
Iser indicates that the match is over with a fluent gesture of his arms, criss-crossing across his chest and being swung away. He covers Reya and leans his weight on her upper body, making it difficult for Reya to escape as the referee counts!
ONE!
TWO!
THRE--
NO! NO! Reya's light shines on, fuelling her to escape somehow, someway, with a clear kick-out underneath Iser's body!
Axel Reid: Wait, Reya withstood the slam! She managed to kick out, and Iser's eyes tell the story!
Iser is not so much beside himself as he is shocked by Reya's endurance! The crowd cheer on Reya as he feeds his hands through his hair, nearly pulling at the roots with growing anger. Instead, Iser sneers and presents a wicked scowl of disgust, looking down at Reya and working out in his head how he can finish her off for good.
Ruby Parvati: Now he's just made Iser mad. I told you she would act foolishly and cause this kind of reaction.
Axel Reid: Reya wants to win this match and prove that she is not a fraud! She wants to prove to Iser that she is not a sham! She is proving that right now, and as much as Iser hates it, he cannot deny that the heart she is showing is beyond whatever Iser thought she had going into this match!
Running on anger, Iser pulls Reya up and drives a knee into her chest, propelling her towards the corner, right in front of an anxious Paxar. Paxar appears to plead with Iser not to brutalize Reya with her eyes, but the Deity does not see what she is trying to tell. He raises Reya up and delivers a back elbow to her face, keeping her in the corner as he begins to pummel her head and upper body.
Axel Reid: Seth Iser is now resorting to his fighting skills, and he is not holding back on those vicious blows!
Iser uses his right hand excessively, hammering away at Reya in the corner. The referee reaches the count of four and Iser is forced to stop, although he does bully the referee away with a threatening advancement.
Axel Reid: The referee is only doing his job, but Iser feels he shouldn't be held accountable for his actions!
Ruby Parvati: He shouldn't be! He's striving to win, not to be a loser!
After giving the referee a stern warning, Iser turns back to Reya, only to get a SUPER KICK to the face for his trouble! The crowd cheer loudly as the connection resounds around the Auditorium, yet Iser somehow remains on his feet, albeit leaning to the side!
Axel Reid: Super Kick! Super Kick!
Ruby Parvati: How did she...?!
Capitalizing on the kick that she calls the Reya Light, Reya goes behind Iser and grabs his leg, pulling him down easily with Iser off balance! Reya cinches up her grip as she crouches in front of Iser, keeping him grounded in a roll-up!
Axel Reid: There's a roll-up! Reya has Iser in a roll-up!
The referee counts Iser's shoulders down!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE--
NO! NO! Iser kicks out at the last possible moment!
Axel Reid: Iser kicks out! This match must go on!
Ruby Parvati: I have to admit, this is getting me a little flustered myself...
Both competitors, exhausted from the battle, get back to their feet. Reya catches Iser with a Jawbreaker, but Iser merely staggers back from the blow. Using whatever energy remains inside of her, Reya runs to the ropes and builds up momentum. She flies towards Iser with a Crossbody, but Iser catches her against his chest! He then turns her upside down and positions her on his shoulder, setting her up for the Black Magic!
Axel Reid: Oh no, Reya got caught, and it could be time for the Black Magic!
Ruby Parvati: Watch her pretty little head bounce off the mat like an apple from a tree!
However, Reya kicks her legs definitely, and she slips down the back of Iser to escape the move! She then targets the crook of his knee with a solid kick, and follows it up with another one! Iser succumbs to the attacks and collapses to one knee, giving Reya an opportunity to bend Iser backwards with all of her might. As the crowd cheer, Reya expertly cinches in her Silent Night, commonly known as the Dragon Sleeper, on a vulnerable Seth Iser!
Axel Reid: Reya has the Dragon Sleeper applied! Iser may fade from the way Reya has hooked it in!
Ruby Parvati: If Reya forces Iser to surrender like this, I will be shocked! I can understand men bending over backwards for me, but this is ridiculous!
Axel Reid: It's not ridiculous! This might be the only chance Reya has left, and Seth Iser is struggling to counter!
Reya's face is strained with determination and perseverance, desperately wanting Iser to submit or pass out! Iser looks to be on the verge of weakening, and this causes the crowd to cheer strongly!
Axel Reid: She's going to do it!
Suddenly, Iser shoots his arms up and grasps Reya around her body! With a loud, audible grunt, Iser forces himself upward, carrying Reya on his broad shoulder!
Axel Reid: Wait, Iser has escaped it!
Not wasting any time, Iser pulls Reya forward, holding her upside down before he drops to his knees and executes the BLACK MAGIC ON REYA FROM HIS SHOULDER!
Axel Reid: The Black Magic! Iser got Reya with the Black Magic, and she looks out of it after that devastating Tombstone!
Exhaling heavily, Iser lays across Reya's limp body, looking towards the referee as he gets into position!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!!!
Thunderous boos travel through the Auditorium as the count of three comes to pass, ending the match and declaring Iser as the victor! Iser rests on his knees as the referee grabs his wrist, but Iser immediately shrugs him away, wanting to digest the victory by his lonesome as he basks in the reception of the angered crowd.
Axel Reid: And Seth Iser picks up his first victory in VOW! What a match that was.
Ruby Parvati: See, I told you he could get the job DONE, Axel.
Jerry Heisenberg: The winner of the match ... SETH ISER!!!
After Heisenberg announces Iser as the winner, Paxar hurriedly slides into the ring and checks on Reya's condition. She appears to be conscious, but only just. Iser fully stands up and observes the crowd momentarily, doing so with a cold glare before his eyes travel to Reya and Paxar.
Axel Reid: The darkness has smothered the light tonight in St Paul, Minnesota on the first edition of Breakthrough, but what will happen next week? What will Seth Iser have to say about this victory, and more importantly, how will Reya Serra be feeling?
Ruby Parvati: I hope bruises and welts cover her face. That will teach her to be a nauseously nice woman...
Axel Reid: I suppose we will have to wait and see what occurs, but ladies and gentleman, it is safe to say that tonight has been a great success for VOW. We witnessed wrestling as wrestling can and should be, and we got to see the skills and credentials of the talent that will help this company thrive in the future. Overall, how do you feel about the night, Ruby?
Ruby Parvati: I feel like we should celebrate it with something special, Axel. Perhaps you could ... tickle my fancy?
Axel Reid: I'll ... have to get back to you on that. I hope you have enjoyed this night just as much as we have, folks. I'm Axel Reid.
Ruby Parvati: And I'm Ruby Parvati.
Axel Reid: We'll see you all next time for the second edition of Breakthrough!
As the commentators bring the show to a close from the commentary table, Iser makes his way to the stage, whereby he lingers and looks around at the crowd. Reya remains inside the ring, finally beginning to move her arms and upper body with the help of Paxar. Eventually Iser yells out to the masses that he "deserves their respect" before the show ultimately fades to black.
