ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION:
[/center] [/div]An atmospheric orchestra kicks in, setting the tone as the lights dim down. Around the 14 second mark, the music suddenly halts as the lights completely cut off in the arena. We then hear words shouted in Gaia Galanos' voice across the speaker system:[/div]
[div][i][b][center][font=times new roman]"THIS IS SPARTAAA!"[/font][/center][/b][/i][/div]
[div]From there an almost blindingly bright light suddenly comes on from the entrance tunnel as a strong female form appears at the top of the entrance stage as the crowd erupts into cheers. As the orchestra kicks back in with fast and atmospheric music, red lights scan the arena frantically as the bright lights kick off and a spotlight shines down upon the rather intense-looking greek fighter, Gaia Galanos, who has the GPW World Championships over her shoulder.[/div]
[div]Roxy: Making her way to the ring, weighing in tonight at 185 pounds...[/div]
[div]As she makes her way down the ramp, various fans from the crowd on either side of the barricade reach out to get high fives, but only a select few actually receive them as she nonchalantly reaches a hand out occasionally. She then walks toward the ring steps while proudly clutching the GPW World title on her muscular shoulder.[/div]
[div]Roxy: Hailing from Sparta, Greece...[/div]
[div]When she reaches the ring steps, she jogs up them then walks across the apron, about a quarter of the way across, she turns around, grabbing the top rope with her left hand and looks out toward the audience while walking backwards and hoisting up the GPW World Championship in her right hand, putting it on displaying to the audience, which garners a HUGE ovation from the crowd. [/div]
[div]Roxy: This is YOUR Girl Power Wrestling World Champion, she is "The Spartan Sheba" GAIAAAAAAA GAAAAALAAAAANOOOOOOOS![/div]
[div]As she gets about 3/4 of the way across the ring, she steps through the ropes and makes a beeline for the far turnbuckle. With a fire in her eyes, she pulls herself up onto the turnbuckle and raises the GPW World title; much to the approval of the crowd. Once she lowers her championship strap, she looks around at the audience for a short moment prior to dropping down from the turnbuckle while turning. The referee walks over and receives the title from her which are, in turn, handed off to the outside of the ring. As Gaia takes her corner, she clasps her hands together and begins spinning her wrists to loosen up while awaiting the beginning of the match as her music fades out and the atmosphere returns to normal...

3. Sheba Devil Vise: Modified variation of the Mr. Wonderful one-armed Kimura. Gaia sets her opponent up in a Devil Lock position then uses both of her arms to hook her victim's arm and pull back. She then trips them up, letting them fall face first to the canvas before locking in the body scissors to utilize her strong legs to pull the victim's body from their shoulder, creating a substantial amount of pain. This move is extremely dangerous for those unlucky enough to find themselves trapped in it. Due to the amount of pressure applied to the shoulder during this move, thanks to the amount of leverage it gives Gaia, this move runs the risk of tearing ligaments in the victim's shoulder thus making it unwise to attempt to "tough it out."

BACKSTORY/EXPERIENCE:
[/center][/div]Throughout Gaia's first year of professional wrestling, she joined a group which would later be dubbed the Goddesses of Dominance with Valkyrie and Isis, double-crossing Larissa Johnson and Anya Boyle, collectively known as Fire & Ice, in the process. After sending those two on their way, Gaia found herself on a tear throughout GPW and UWL. She first made her appearance in UWL when she attacked Anne Brandeis after she was victorious over GPW's own General Manager, Jacqui Monroe.
The feud between the two continued to heat up as Gaia continued to catch Brandeis off-guard with assault after assault. Brandeis even was able to get in her own shot by costing Gaia a match against her friend, Red West. Finally, a match was officially set at UWL Bedlam on the Bayou pitting Gaia against Anne Brandeis. That wasn't all though, the match's stakes were raised when Mr. Hill, UWL's owner, proclaimed that the match between the two would be for the UWL World Championship(later renamed the UWL Queen of Wrestling Championship). Upon winning the match, Gaia and Anne Brandeis were far from finished because there would be one more match between the two with the title on the line once more. The women ended up agreeing to a Submission Match which Gaia won after an epic match between the two technicians.
As of late, Gaia has been on a tear, especially after another successful title defense against The Harlequin at UWL Ascension. She made a huge statement when she showed up during a Detonation broadcast and challenged the GPW World Champion, Jo McFarlane. The next night she went on to dismantle Molly Cyrus, but ultimately, the challenge was accepted and the match was made, pitting Gaia against Jo in a non-title match-up. During the match, Gaia showed she could definitely hang with GPW World Champion and even had the match within her grasp when suddenly her GOD comrades turned on her. When it seemed as though Jo McFarlane was going to make the save, she, in perhaps the biggest surprise of the year, Jo attacked Gaia effectively turning her back on the world. Oh, we probably should mention that Nick Bakas had a hand in this as well... and she wasn't happy with him at all. Gaia Galanos found herself headed into a tag team match without a partner. After having searched the locker room, it seemed as though she wouldn't been able to find a suitable partner and it seemed almost inevitable that the tag team match against Valkyrie and Isis would become a handicap match instead. Much to the GPWniverse's surprise, former GIW Undisputed Champion, The Harlequin, appeared in Girl Power Wrestling to help Gaia defeat her former stablemates. This set the stage for a HUGE main event at GPW's birthday party, The Bash, between Gaia Galanos and then-nearly year long GPW World Champion, Jo McFarlane.
The match was a Match of the Year candidate, but when it came time for the ending, things became very, very strange to say the least. Galanos hit the Brainbuster, knocking Jo McFarlane out cold long enough for The Spartan to get the three-count... or so we thought. After the referee declared Gaia the winner, Stella, the owner of GPW and leader of the Head Office, had the decision reversed because she claimed McFarlane's foot had been on the rope.
This didn't sit right with others in the locker room as questions began to arise about the Head Office's methods, but no one would quite step forward. Once again... Enter The Harlequin. She seemingly convinced Nicholas Bakas, who had been freshly announced as the General Manager, to give Gaia the rematch she deserved for a match she had won in the first place. The match was set as a Last Woman Standing match. An opportunity Gaia Galanos vowed she would not let slip away again...
Once Explosion #25: Bay Area Beatdown rolled up, the match was a treat for any wrestling fan: casual or hardcore. It was a long, grueling match full of offensives from both sides, but, in the end, Gaia Galanos was able to the one to put an end to Jo McFarlane's over-year long title reign as the GPW World Champion by putting her through the announcer's table with her devastating Brainbuster. Even as Stella tried to interfere, she was too late as the 10-count had been made and Gaia Galanos announced as the new GPW World Champion.
Gaia is now looking toward her UWL Queen of Wrestling Championship title defense against the #1 Contender to that title, ACE Wrestling's very own, Flame Puppy...
